This game is totally a must have. With intuitive controls, and solid gameplay, it's one of the best games of 2003. To not buy this would be a mistake. Viewtiful Joe has flair, and moments that will make you laugh out loud. The graphics are super-detailed, and, along with the game, also has a large sense of style. Buy this, and your GC collection will be so much better. ...

All I can say about Viewtiful Joe is VIEWTIFUL. Really, Everything in the games flows so nicely. If you purchase a gamecube from certian stores you will get a Demo-disc with the game on there. You need to try the power like MachSpeed, Slowdown, and Zoom. Whenever this hits the stores be sure to get it.

This is the totally one of the best games I've ever played. I played the demo of it, and it is so cool. You start off as an ordinary guy, and then later (not long from the beginning of the game), you become VIEWTIFUL Joe and you get special powers. The best thing in the game is when you can turn things in to slow motion and make SWEET shots by beating everyone up or dodging bullets. A GameCube collection is not complete without this game.

Sitting in a theatre, your girlfriend trying to kiss all up on ya when your trying to watch your favorite classic movie, and then all of a sudden the villian of the movie grabs your girlfriend and you must go save her, this is Viewtiful Joe.
Joe has got some rad-ish like powers; he slows down time, speeds it up, and is just crazy with the punching and kicking. The game is straight forward; no wandering around, no side quests. Some might ask, 'Boy, wouldn't that just be redundant?' Nope, not only is Joe cool, but he's got some puzzles he must solve, and sometimes they aren't as ez as 1,2,3. This game has most everything, buy it, love it, marry it, have kids with it, and grow old with it. Henshin-a-go-go baby.

Viewtiful Joe is a really awesome game. It reminds me of games that I played as a kid, but it was made much better than any of my old games. It's really a good buy, unfortunately it's only made for Gamecube.

Capcom has undoubtedly released many a great game throughout the years. With the Resident Evil and Megaman series taking up most of the spotlight, it didn't seem like any other mascots could squeeze in.
Enter Viewtiful Joe; the extremely fun and slightly difficult 2D/3D adventure for the Nintendo Gamecube.
The story begins with Joe, a movie fanatic, and his perky girlfriend Silvia enjoying a day at the movies. However, things go awry when one of the onscreen villains snatches Silvia and holds her captive in the movie world.
This is where the fun starts. As Joe, you must learn the ways of a superhero to overcome the evildoers and rescue Silvia. While the plot may not be the best for a game, the gameplay certainly is.
The innovative control scheme and Zoom, Slow Down and Fast options only add to the already fun beat-em-up style of the game. In short, Viewtiful Joe is quite unlike anything you've ever seen and brings a new level of fun to video games.

ok this game has got one of the best games ever created for GC
this game is not only fun but it is not that easy to get tired
of replaying levels.
the graphics are unlike any other the 2-d\3-d graphics are wut set this game appart from the rest.
the game play is fun and surprising though some of the challanges are as much luck based as they are on skill.
the special powers are what give this game zing they are just so much fun to use and make combos with. u can use slow motion an turn one small punch into the force hitting em' in with an anvil,or use mach speed and hit with lightnig speed and set them to flames,or u can use zoom in and open a differnt set of moves. one thing that can make this game a bit devastating is the bosses(well some ) like i got stuck on dthis shark guy and it took me a week to beat him! sometimes i found myself muttering strings of profanity.
but all in all i recomend this game to sny one looking or not looking for a good game.

This comic book style hero blows Batman, and Superman far, FAR away
pros:
Nice graphics
Cool lenghty story
Good voice acting(With pretty funny diolauge)
Simple, but ultra addictive gameplay
Mach speed,Zoom in and slowdown are frakin awsome
Very good, challanging bosses
Pretty cool soundtrack
Very high replay value
Capcom put the sidescrolling of Street Fighter, and the cool moves of Devil May Cry in this explosive action/adventure for Gamecube
Cons:
The boss battles can get REALLY challenging
I hate running out of lives(Then I have to do everything all over again)
I'm stuck on the pert when you have to face silcer versions of the magma boss(The're for-jorkin' impossible)
When I bought this game, I thought it was gonna be stupid, simply because I almost judged a book by it's cover. When I played it, I wonder why I didn't get it sooner? Well I got it for 19 bux which is lower than this game's worth, but hey I'm a proud owner of it. If you have a cube or a PS2(Which it recently came out on), and love action/fighting games, you have to get this game.
