Viewtiful Joe is fun, pure and simple. It's got a great sense of humor, awesome graphics, good music, and, most importantly, wonderful gameplay. The import is jam-packed with extras and goodies, and the stateside version is said to have even more. SO get ready, because Joe's coming, and he's going rock your world!

This game has blown my mind in its extreme level of fun and unique gameplay. The plot is just great and the classic 2D sidescroller feel brings back the memories of true gaming. I absolutely recommmend this to everyone with a gamecube

I recently bought this game from my local import shop. This a brilliant game, focus is put as much as possible on fun, with a very simple control system (kick, punch and jump)
This makes it really easy to get into, but very difficult to master. So the storyline may be a bit last action hero but so what? This is a great game and i thoroughly recommend it!
PS If you cant wait for the game to come out here, the japanese version is excellent as much of the game is in english (apparently its trendy in japan!)

I bought a gamecube because of Tales of Symphonia, But Viewtiful Joe is Gamecubes second best title out there. If you don't have one, you need to go pick it up. This game without a doubt fun.

In three words, I'll sum up Viewtiful Joe for you. Wicked. Fun. Game. The amazing graphics and controls only add to the already superb gameplay. Slowing down time, speeding it up, or zooming in will all make your fun trip with this game even more incredible. I only have the demo, but from the one level that I have played through, I can easily tell that this game will be among the best. You will not want to put this down. I have played through the demo about 30 times as of now, and I plan to play it many more times before this games release. This game has a cartoony look that might put some down, but the game is only made better by the visuals. The controls are responsive, and it feels like something natural. Buy this game as soon as it comes out, or you will be missing a great experience. I know I'll be in the stores on the same day, and I'll be playing nonstop.

Viewtiful Joe can be described in 3 words. Wicked. Good. Game.
This game must be among the best. The crisp and clean graphics along side the amazingly intuitive controls only add to the fantastic gameplay. The cartoony graphics may put some down, but I can assure you that they truly make you feel as if you are inside of a movie. The VFX that our hero Joe uses are fun to play around with and make the fighting experience even more fun. Slowing time, speeding it up, or zooming in. All adding to the Viewtifulness of this game. The controls are tight and responsive. If you panic, you seem to know what buttons to press, just because it feels like thats the one to press! I only have the demo, however, but the game will be bought by me the minute it arrives in the US. I have played the demo about 30 times so far, and I plan to play it many more before I get the full game. I know that this game will be great, and you won't be able to put it down. I know I can't.

This game is the coolest it's like a Combo of Megaman and Matrix, Throw in some cool sayings like Henshin a Go-Go, and you yourself one flashy game, but thats not it, its not just some flashy button masher unless you want it to be. The games controls have a whole other level of depth, like trying to make a killer combo useing your you Vfx powers, and tring to reach a Veiwtiful score, Overall this game is sweet!

Viewtiful Joe is a 2-D cel shaded beat em' up that harkens back to the days of old school gaming. In it you play Joe, a man who gains super powers from his favorite hero, Captain Blue. Theese powers enable Joe to run around with complete control of time. He can slow down time to dodge bullets and make combos, as well as make it possible to cheat on a slot machine or to drop a flying platform. He can also speed up time, to set up an ultra-fast combo. However, Joe has a limited amount of time he can control the time, but it will regenerate. The game looks very...viewtiful as Joe runs around, as the air combusts when you speed up time, and you can see every punch and kick when you slow down. Viewtiful Joe is sure to be a hit on the GCN, and is coming out in late September for the low price of $39.99.

I have recently had the pleasure of playing the demo version of this game and it rocked!! It's hard to say what the best aspect of this game is because there are so many. First, the graphics are the coolest, they look sort of like an old 2D game and sort of like a comic book. Second, you can slow down time in a matrix sort of way so that you can dodge bullets and enemy attacks. You can also speed up time too and fight multiple enemies at once. Finally, I like that the controls are so simple to understand, it makes combat a lot easier. This is definately the game I am most looking foward to this year and i've only played the demo so far. Henshin a go go, baby!
