Crime Fighting Fun for All Ages

This is a great game for all ages. The action is great, the graphics are amazing, and the fact that there are both "kids" and "adults" modes makes it even more appropriate for all kids. It is about a comic book/old Japanese movie junkie whose girlfriend is kidnapped by the villains of just such a movie. Joe must step up to become "Viewtiful Joe", his super-hero alter ego, to save her.

Joe's powers include speeding up and slowing down time, as well as zooming in on the action. Each is earned over time, as are additional tricks that you can buy using points you collect by defeating monsters. Speaking of which, the "monsters" in this game are primarily cartoon robots, which is a pleasant change from the usual drug kingpin/zombie/turtle choices.

I like this game a lot, and it is one of my favorite releases of the year, for any platform.

This is one great game. I didn't know much about it when I saw it, but I took a chance and bought it. And now I am so happy for buying it! The game has perfect length, perfect looks, perfect sound, perfect action, and a great story! For $40.00 you can't go wrong with this one. BUY THIS NOW!!!!

Viewtiful means Beautiful View, and that is precisely what you get when you play this game. This game is a glimpse of what games are supposed to be today: great gameplay, wonderful grahics, and an awesome story. At first glance, you might decide to pass it by, but I'm telling you, you'd regret that choice. If you can, purchase this game right now, cause it is definitely one of the 20 greatest games of this console generation. Don't miss your oppurtunity to play a wonderful game.

When the Capcom 5 were first announced, Viewtiful Joe looked like the worst of the 5. Now that P.N. 03 is out, and that sucked, I went to get this game when it came out, hoping for good. And is it good! This is a shining example of why 2d games are still the best to this date. Beautiful art style (viewtiful... :) ), solid, challenging gameplay, lots to do and unlock, and the best final boss EVER, make this game quite an easy contender for Game Of The Year. This game is worth the cheap $40 price tag, and easily more. Go now and get it!

I love this game -a lot.- Not only are the graphics simply amazing, but the gameplay is frantic and fantastic. The art style is pretty unique and the animation is exciting to say the least. Beat 'em up games have never been this fun, ever. While punching and kicking your way through the masses of enemies, you can use slow-mo, zoom, or mach speed effects to pound your opponents in so many different ways.

Graphics - 4.5 Awesome and stylistic, though some clipping looks shoddy.
Sound 5.0 - fast and exciting, the punches sound great.
Gameplay - 4.5 A bit on the short side, but fun fun fun all the way through.
Control - 5.0 Easy and intuitive.
Replay - 5.0 worth playing again and again.

This is El_Scorcho from the Viewtiful Joe Street Team.

I've played the import version of this game, and it is simply amazing. Everything you wished you wanted in a game is here. A cool story line, great graphics and music, replay value, and the most important thing, fun.

This game is just oozing cool. As soon as you pop in the disc, you're just put into another world. The movie world that is. This game's different levels all have something to do with certain movie genres, which is just awesome. Gamers of all kinds will enjoy this game... kids, adults, pure gamers, casual gamers, and even the movie fan who's never even played a video game. Why, you ask? Because the game is just that good.

The difficulty of the game might be challenging at first, but you'll be wanting to play this game so much, you won't even mind the challenge of the game. And who doesn't like a challenging game anyway? There are 4 difficulty modes: Kids, Adults, V-Mode, and Ultra V-Mode. This sets up lots of replay value, as you can unlock other players to play as, including Joe's favorite superhero, Captain Blue.

Viewtiful Joe sets the boundaries between a game and art. Everyone will and should enjoy this game. I pity the person who refuses to play as this man in tights. Everything is viewtiful about this game. Buy it as soon as it comes out.
