Resident Evil are the best GAMECUBE titles!!!

This game is great. The other two RESIDENT EVILS on GAMECUBE were also great but, this game gets it! They've thrown away the tired clichés, and simplified the controls. It is REAL scary, even if you're an adult this game will scare you! The DOLBY PRO-LOGIC II sound is unreal. The Graphics are unbelievable for this system, they have the look of an XBOX quality game on this smaller less powerful system. The environments are just awesome, the textures, the particles effects. Everything! These RESIDENT EVIL games take a looooooong time to create, but you can see why. NOTE: It really may be too scary for younger players, read the label. Clearly, this is the best reason to buy a GAMECUBE, there really aren't very many others.

I'm impressed

I gotta admit it- I never liked the Resident Evil series very much. Something about not being able to move very fast, and those terrible camera angles, always turned me off. Then I hear there's a sequel coming out that turns the game design on its ear; sounded cool, but still probably not my thing. Then I read the reviews, which were unanimously positive, over-the-roof positive, so I broke down and bought it.

I'm happy I did. This is a terrific game: the graphics are beautiful, the revamped controls (not entirely new, but polished and a lot smoother) work well, and the action is relentless. The story is cheesy, and a lot of the dialogue goofy as hell, but that adds to the charm. (Besides, this series was never really famous for its Swiftian wit.) This is the type of game that's good for anybody who likes good games; at the very least, rent it if you can.

~ REsident evil, what words can i possibly use for it?? Other than it is awesome. Throughout the game you'll be going through nothing but pure adrenaline. Around every corner, in every building, and on the other side of each door is nothing but the new and improved fear, crazed cultists infected with what...well i could tell you but...you should find out your self. Unless your scared...hehehe...well, enough of that nonsense...this game definetely is a must. and for old soldiers of the survival horror...(me being one of those proud fews.) will love, like i did the continuing story of Leons past encounter with some familiar face from RE2. THis game Rocked!!!!

Ive played and own all the resident evils but as every one knows who has played games in the series we were getting real tired of the non improved sluggish gameplay that continued too far into the sequels. Capcom has awakened finally and improved not just the gameplay but everything about it and then some in Resident Evil 4. Better controls ,swifter and faster movement, more weapons, more enemies, more types of enemies, better storyline, more scares, better emotion from characters, and I can go on and on but the point is this game is not just better and more improved than the previous resident evils but it is unquestionably one of the best action adventure survival horror games out there if not the best. One of the biggest improvements in the game of many is the enemies. For example, not even a 3rd of the way into the game a zombie comes running at you wielding chainsaw and a paper bag on his head (looks like leatherface)and if you dont kill him quick enough he slices your head clean off(talk about jumps and scares)A little further along your way you have to fight is a huge swamp thing reminicent of the lochness monster while your driving a motor boat all the sudden the monster appears trying to eat you!!!
This game is sick well done!!! I love it. If you dont have a game cube console trust me go get one they sell them used at GAMESTOP for 70 bucks thats almost the same price as a game.

Once again, a great add-on to the RE series, but to those hardcore fans who LOVE zombies, there are none. The story follows Leon Scott Kennedy (Resident Evil 2) sent on a rescue mission to a location in Europe. While asking someone is he'd lately seen Ashley, he attacks Leon with an axe. This is where it begins. The gameplay and graphics are excellent, and it features a new "Aim and Shoot" technique in which the player can aim using a laser sight rather than wasting ammo on accident. While the replay value is great, you also have cutscenes that require you to do action command sequences to survive or kill. Parents shouldn't worry on this one, but I would recommend that you guys don't expect happy sunshine smiles land. The game is a bit gory and shouldn't be looked up to. Kids/Adults will get a few laughs likely out of this one. Horror and Puzzles at their best!

Too much searching in boxes and vases

I used to think this was the best RE game made, and I played it over and over, until I realized that about 50% of the time you have to break open boxes and vases for health items and ammunition, and that gets boring. The only way you don't have to go through all that, is if you're playing for the second time where you have saved enough to buy the infinite rocket launcher that never runs outta ammo.

Best game ever for gamecube, hands down!!

For me this game overthrew James Bond Nightfire as the best game for gamecube. This game is unbelievable. Get new weapons. Buy countless upgrades for these guns. Get taken into a whole new intense world filled as you attempt to save the president's daughter from a village of zombies and evil humans hoping to destroy the US. This game is very, very scary also and definitely has its share of gore, which really IN THIS CASE makes the game better. Storm through the evil village as Leon, an agent for the president while having the time of your life literally Blasting the heads off the people in your way. And, perhaps the first thing you notice: The unbelievable graphics not ever before showcased in a gamecube game. This game proves that good shooters can be made for gamecube, REALLY GOOD SHOOTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Buy this game, especially since, especially in the last couple of years, there has been a shortage of great games for gamecube.

BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it the best Resident Evil game or what!

So, Resident Evil has been around for a long time huh? With the debut game, Resident Evil, this popular franchise is still around. Sure, Resident Evil has had some flaws, and they've had some good ones. They've even had some remakes. But, the best in the series has got to be RE4 for obvious reasons. I just beat the game for the 7th time and it is still incredible. I have most of the secret weapons (I have the Infinite Rocket Launcher, the Chicogo Typewriter, and Matilda). I have the PS2 version too, and haven't yet beat that one because I just got it. I think overall that this game is great and recommend it to you if you like blood and gore. The graphics are awesome, the story is awesome, and there are very little flaws. Some are the assignment ada, which is pretty darn hard, and the fact that if you run out of ammo, use your knive, which sux. It's a very good game, so buy it. Just watch your back and don't worry about the chainsaw manics. They're easy if you have a rifle or a shotgun or a magnum. Enjoy it!

The BEST RESIDENT EVIL game ever made!!!!!!!!!

This is GameCubes best game without a doubt but then soon there will be Twilight Princess. This game is unbelievable I have the Infinite rocket launcher and I have all mercinaries and I have to buy the chicago typewrighter and I have to earn the hand cannon and then I'll be complete with the game. Too bad it isn't a four player game for mercinaries mode that would be more easier to get the hand cannon. Nevertheless this is a must buy for any Resident Evil game I played every single good RE game except for the sucky ones. This game is a must buy!!!!!!

Very Different than other RE Games but it is not a bad difference

This new RE4 Game has its differences from the previous re games this game is much longer than any of the other games and has sort of a movie like effect to it like you are playing the outcome of a movie you can buy and sell weapons to a merchant who is in various locations throughout the game I could not stop playing this game until I beat it this is a must for RE fans and a must for those who are looking for a great game at a resonable price
