The game crashes my machine when I try to play. Considering that I can not play this game at all, I consider this to be a complete failure!

blah, takes a day to master a pilot prof if you're half-decent.
adds a completely useless side to a game that is wholly land-based.
bit of a sideshow to the grinding blahfest that was swg...ah well, with the cu swg isn't around for much longer in this galaxy anyway.
AVOID

Horrid.

This game is dying. Sony Online Entertainment and Lucas Arts have betrayed the fanbase and the Star Wars Franchise 1 too many times.

SW:G Japan servers have already shut their doors. SW:G U.S. Servers are well on their way out as well.

Don't waste your money!

Too bad SOE doesnt care about its customers!

You would think that a company would take into consideration the thoughts of its players. Unfortunately, this is not the case with the designers of the Star Wars Galaxies team (SOE= Sony Online Entertainment). They will charge you for expansions and then turn around and remove 80% of the professions that you have spent months developing. They do this with NO warning and will not refund money. They do not support the needs and desires of the playing customers. If there were ever an example needed of what not to do with your online customers, SOE could write the book.

Jump to Light Speed Expansion

Do not buy this expansion pack. It is now free for anyone that has Star Wars Galaxies. It was originally released as an expansion, but after a year, they made it available for no charge to anyone who hadn't bought it yet.

stay away

SWG is sinking fast. Just stay away and wait for a better game. No, "Empire at War" isn't any good either.

Do NOT buy this expansion.

This expansion is given as a FREE download to ALL players, now. Do not pay for this expansion.

Brawler classes are being forced to use Skill Points that have nothing to do with their profession from Brawler's skills, why do I say this? As a Master Swordsman, 2-Handed Swords, I have to have the 1-Handed tree in which there are no modifiers for 2-Handed Weapons. This applies to all four Brawler Classes, meaning you need a tree that does nothing for you other than waste Skill Points that can be used elsewhere to improve your character. Why was this done? Most likely because all Ranged Professions require not only their basic tree from Marksman but also Ranged Support. What this means is the same Skill Points are used to be either a single Master Marksman Elite Profession as a Brawler Elite. I understand this concept but at least the Marksman get modifiers from the Ranged Support tree that help them no matter what they choose. They should have added modifiers for the other professions that the trees are required for instead of making them just Skill Point wasting trees.

RIP

SOE, since you and lucasfilm won't listen to fans...WE WON'T PAY TO BETA-TEST!!!!!!!!!!!!
ROTW cancelled 1st day of cu.
SWG cancelled after giving cu a couple of days.

This is the only part of the game that is worthwhile

Truly I can say that Jump To LightSpeed is the only part of the new game that is worthwhile soley because it was untouched by the New Game Enhancements. The catch here is that You don't need to buy this anymore. Its been given away as part of the package deal.

One great thing is the possibilities of ships and parts you can use. You may see 2 of the same LOOKING ships in space but you can bet that they most likely have different weapons and engines.

Unfortunately this piece of SWG is not enough to keep me or the thousands of others in the game.
