I think that this game is the best game I've played.It's got good graphics.

Zelda is one of the most loved game franchises in the history of gaming. If you love Zelda, then pick up this game. If you are doubting whether or not you should get this game because the graphics seem too childish, then buy it. There is a reason this games price has not dropped dramatically. That reason is it is a great game. Another reason the price has not dropped is Nintento is an greedy monopoly, but i shall not get into that subject. The music is just great, and the sound effects are also super. Those of us who have played such games as Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask have been pleased at how this game has managed to stay true to the series while adding a new twist to the series.

i got the windwaker for christmas of 2003. i didnt have a memory card and i didnt get very far in the game. i got stuck for a long time. i got stuck in the little cave of dragon roost. little did i know that i had to light up the torches with one of the monsters flame sticks. then i got the 32Mb card. somehow i learned. the game has very good graphics. the invention of lil link is way cool becauseit makes it seem more childish which is cool. the story plot has more touch than the original because you have to save your sister aryll. then suddenley at the end of the game you have to save princes zelda from ganondolf. i like the difficulty level because you get stuck alot of times. you have to try to figure out everything. also you get cool weapons throughout the game.if you know whats right for you.......GET THIS GAME

the wind waker is fun but at some parts you can really get bored.Going in the boat is what i really hate it's so boring so if your getting the wind waker because of that i recommend you should'nt.But the wind waker is a very fun game alright.

OMG! You need to Buy this game! I highly anticipated this game and was in no way disappointed! Lots of good ol' Zelda fun with many side quests to keep you busy....

This is a excellent game!I was hooked on the game from begining to end (even though the begining could seem slow and boring) and I played in all of my spare time. At first I was disappointed with the graphics but you quiclkly get used to them and noticed them as normal. It has a very compelling storyline and even though I would perfer graphics with more of a realistic look I am still extremely satisfied with the overall content of thia game. You should buy it or at least rent it. It offers quality fun from begining to end.

I liked it better when it was called "Jak & Daxter"

"Windwaker" is a lot of fun, but if you've played "Jak & Daxter" (for the Sony PS2) you've seen this game before. The good news is, J & D is a great game too. As with J & D, you have a slightly distorted, cartoony land of characters who need their livestock sorted, lost something that only *you* can recover, etc. The puzzles are similar. All that's missing is the wise-cracking sidekick.

The context-sensitive control assignments are fine, but require that the corner of your screen be forever populated with a map of your controller to indicate what button controls what action at any particular time. On big-screen TVs this is not so much of distraction.

The music is a bit disappointing, especially after playing Super Mario Sunshine for the past few weeks. But at least the music is not annoying--just uninspired.

But overall, the game is engaging, just difficult enough to be satisfying, great for kids, and worth the high price. I do recommend purchasing a guide for it (e.g., Brady) especially if you're helping a child get through the game.

In this game, you get to explore islands in a samll world that is made up of 49 islands. The plot is still the same, although slightly altered. Instead of rescuing Zelda, you rescue your sister, who has been kidnaped by ganondorf. This has many side quests, like watering eight trees scattered around the world, and collecting all the treasure maps and heart pieces. Your ride in a boat that can talk, which actually turns out to be the king of .... there are a lot of puzzles, but they aren't very frustrating. The items are awesome, there is even a deku leaf for u to glide around on the wind. The clever use of the wind is really cool. You get the windwaker which allows you to: change from night to day, control the direction of the wind, and control objects like statues and people.

Ratings:

Graphics: 4 1/2 (the cel-shading isn't that great)
Controls: 5 (takes only 5 minutes to learn, not including sword-fighting)
Storyline: 5 (it FINALLY ISN'T a rescue zelda thing)
Overall: I would give this a 9.99/10, because the cel-shading kind of wrecks the game

this is the first Zelda game I've ever played and from the way I see it, it's the BEST!!!! Yet, you'll probably feel frusterated sometimes because of Windwaker's tricky puzzles and tough bosses. In the end, it's worth it to see the master sword get stabbed into Ganondorf's head.So take my word for it and prepare for a quest across the Great Sea!!

You heard me. It was dissapointing enough when Metroid Prime didn't(though it did in many magazines and websites), and if this game doesn't win, I'm going to start suspecting that THE ACADEMY OF INTERACTIVE ARTS has a grudge with the game. This is why its so hard to support Nintendo.
