First of all, the graphic are great, I have to admit that. But, the whole Link's-head-is-bigger-than-than-the-rest-of-his-body thing is just really wrong. cel shading COULD have worked great if the things didnt go WWAAYY out of proportion.I'm not saying Shuigera made a mistake choosing to go with the cel-shading. The game is way too easy, not like OoT where u have to get through AGONIZING dungeon to get an item, nooo, oh yeah, you just talk to the little girl with wings WITHOUT doing much of anything and she gives you your 1st botttle(even before you FIRST DUNGEON!!!) and the Grapple hook for you to "conveniently" fight the boss with. The Dragon boat( the oh-so-gallant Great King of Red Lions) talks to you *HINT* and bam! there's you answer to the easi[er than heck] riddle that you culda solved as soon as you saw the obvious clue. The storyline is really messed up too. near the end, Tetra is Zelda's DAUGHTER! Zelda was about 18 in OoT to begin with and Tetra is same age as WW Link(12) so the OoT Zelda was how old? 88+18=106 yrs old!!!!! It just doesnt add up
Nothing short of depressing

The Legend of Zelda, which has been around since the 80's, has always been able to capture a wonderous, mystical feel to the entire game. From Ganon to the triforce, the action has been never-ending, which all stops dead at this game. When OoT came out, in my mind, it started an amazing precedent for all future Zelda games. The graphics were awesome, the effects were breathtaking, and when we all got passed it, every Zelda player craved more, bigger and better. Nintendo origionally did begin to create a new Zelda game for Gamecube, with the best graphics I had ever though possible, I tought this was going to be the best game for Gamecube ever! It was amazing, there's nothing that could have topped it. Then news came around that they were stripping the project down, and replacing it with a game that would make Saturday-morning cartoon shows laugh. The graphics are horrible, the story line is boring, and the once magical feel has been bitterly shattered. This game really emphasizes the "Legend" of Zelda, considering all of what took place in OoT happened a LONG time ago in this game. A kid-oriented game is not what I wanted. This game fits in with Paper Mario, or Mario Sunshine, it's not Zelda at all! From battling Ganondorf to figuring out of the Triforce can be found has all been transformed into a happy island, with happy people, with cutesie graphics, and a child-like plot. What happened that Zelda creators thought this would sell?? I gave this game a benefit of a doubt and purchased it, and i've already gotton bored with it. There's no point, this game is so predictable. I really hope Nintendo tries to rebuild the Zelda image for future games, I certainly hope this isn't a new trend of cartoonish games. Bottom line, a sad game for an action-craving society.

the worst game. The game is [way] to easy! And
it`s a cartoon type game. Why couldn`t the game be better?

I don't know about you guys but what made me love the Ocarina of Time was the intricate characters and the very well developed story, the music and graphics were a plus. But in Wind Waker the story is awful!!!!! (i can't emphasize that enough) the characters are childish and the graphics, oh my god!!! i felt like i was playing rugrats... Comparing the Link i see in Smash bros and the one in Wind waker it pains me, i don't know what Nintendo was thinking but i pray they won't make the same mistake in the next one.
Great game, but not the best...

Okay, my friend and I beat this game toghther, as we did Sonic: Adventure two battle, great game by the by. I reviewed that too. Anyway, this is a great game. I bought my gamecube and this was the first game I got. It's great for a beginner, and for anyone else. I laughed sometimes because the graphics were terrible compared to the others.
The Pros:
fun
Exciting
Challanging, but not " I kill you now, foolish box!"
Fun games and puzzles
A thinking game
The cons:
Bad graphics
Weird plotline
Fairly easy to beat( sav tower of gods, and the temples)
The pros definatley over come the cons. Fun game, but not the best game ever.

This is the worst zelda game of all time for all nintendo systems. It just doesn't have the charm of the other zelda games. It gets really old and tedious spending all that time sailing across an ocean. Somehow sailing across an ocean and Link just don't match up. It doesn't stand the test of time like the other zelda's. I played through all zelda games all the way through. Here's my favorite zelda games in order.........
1. Link To The Past - snes
2. Ocarina of Time - N64
3. Legend of Zelda - nintendo
4. Majora's Mask - N64
5. Legend of Zelda 2 - nintendo
6. Windwaker - gamecube
Sorry folks nintendo got it wrong with windwaker. Hopefully they'll redeem the magic of zelda with twilight princess.
Best Zelda Ever!!!!!!

Wind Waker is amazing. I just received it yesterday and played it for about an hour. Let me just say that the graphics are jaw dropping. NO other developer has been able to pull off cel-shading like Nintendo has with WW. So far I have only got to the first island that contains the first dungeon. But let me say this that the gameplay is so far ahead than OOT. It's way better to be able to just throw a bomb or pot with the A button and drop it with the R button than have to run and fall off a cliff. Fighting the enemies is awesome!!!!!!! There are so many on screen at sometimes. The most I have seen right now are two enemies but I know there will be more. Don't listen to these psychos who this new Zelda is ... just because of the graphics and only if they played a demo. Come on a demo is limited, you can't judge a game off of a demo. I highly recommend this revolutionary game!!!!!
Suprisingly Surprised

At first I thought this game would be bad because of its cartoon feel. After I played for about 5 minutes I realized that without the cartoons this game would be horrible. The cartoon look allows Link to express his feelings through his face. The game is quite addicting and is hard for me to put down. Zelda fans will not be disapointed with the game play. It is quite challenging and takes a long time to clear one dungeon. I believe that this is a continuation of Ocarina of Time, but I'm not yet far enough in the game to tell. I do know that Zelda will make an appearance that no one is expecting.
