My kids loved it!

This was such a good choice. Not only is it fun to maneuver your scuba diver, but you learn about fish and get to discover hidden treasures. Players also get a dolphin partner they can train and swim with. All dialogue in the game is done with subtitles, which was challenging for our 2nd grader to read. Also the player needs to read regular Emails that give clues and instuctions. We are planning a trip to Seaworld soon, and this game has been a great warm-up for more aquatic fun.

After being fortunate to scuba dive in the Caribbean off of Isla Mujeres and Cozumel - this game takes me back there each time I play it. It is very laid back - relaxing and enjoyable. I've spent over 45 hours in the game to date - and have found almost all of the marine life. I'm still searching for the artifacts...in between giving guided tours and taking photos of marine life. A great game for a scuba diver or snorkeler in your family!

We bought this game last night and I'v aleady logged in 5 hours. It's a great sit down game when you don't want to be too active (or unable to). The under water graphics are great! However, on topside, they're kind of cheap.

Overall, I really like the game and plan on spending a lot of time playing and discovery new things about the ocean and marine life.

This game is educational and fun for several people at once. My children (13 and 10) both enjoy going on quests, learning about the wide variety of animals, doing tricks with dolphins, guiding other divers, taking photos for magazines, and searching for treasure and rare creatures. I like to play it as much as they do! We all like to watch while one of us plays. The music is beautiful, too, but you can turn it down or off if you get tired of it. Controls are fairly easy to master. Now the kids are eager to go to an aquarium to look for the fish they've learned about.

The best thing about Endless Ocean is all the different and neat fish there are to find, identify and learn more about. We learned a lot about fish that we didn't know before.
It is slow moving, but very interesting.
We bought this game before we traveled to Maui for a family vacation. We did a lot of snorkeling there and saw some of the same fish as were on the game! That was neat.
The graphics are pretty good. I would recommend it!

Endless ocean is a great game for people who love aquatic life. it is very relaxing with the music. It is great for getting your mind of some stuff. I got it for my cousin who LOVES action and violence and it turned into his favorite game! It is also educational. You can take pictures, do missions, or just explore!

Great game for kids and adults!

I asked for this for Mother's day and I love it. I used to SCUBA dive when I lived in the tropics, and this is the next best thing. Relaxing, educational, and fun. My 9-year-old daughter loves it too.

I like just exploring the reefs and other spots, while my daughter is more driven by completing missions and finding the "hidden pieces." And we're both learning more about the ocean and the critters in it, in a very fun way. You have GOT to see the goblin shark!!

For Wii, Beautiful and Peaceful...But not Action

Of the 8 or so Wii games I have, this is probably my favorite for graphics...which says quite a bit since Wii definitely has the worst graphics of the platforms. The dialogue and general storyplay of this game does lead a lot or a bit (respectively) to be desired, it still was fun to play.
This is also not a game for someone who has a short attention span. It does require you to search around for different fish, animals, or items. If you don't have the patience, then you might want to pass this game up.

It's addicting!

I kept avoiding renting this game when my kids wanted to because it sounded boring, like watching a fireplace on TV, but finally gave in. Wow! I'm glad I did! It's alot more than just sight-seeing. It's a treasure hunt, dolphin training, and much more! And yes, very addicting (I found I had passed 3hrs of time playing while my kids slept Saturday morning!)

The only bad points: The people are a bit wooden (WHY don't Wii people TALK instead of having to read the text?! and who cares about 'earning' a new hairstyle?!), and the fact that if you don't save your progress you have to start over/go through all the training exercises, even if you know how to do things (having watching another play)

Definitely one of those "fun for all ages" and very informative (IF you can get your kids to stop and actually read all the information on the various fish!)

I purchased this game for our son who is 7 and loves animals and fish, to be honest the 1st time we played it we were a liltle worried....but as time went on we found our way. Our son loves it, and gets a kick when he can check his book to see what new animals he had found. The best part is when you get to train your diving partner. It has become a contest to see who can fill their book up the first. High recommended : )
