I'm 11 years old and this game is too creepy for me. I was hoping for a peaceful, relaxing game but I got nothing of the sort. It started off as 5 stars for me because it was very calm and nice. It quickly dropped to 4 stars because I had to explore an abyss. This wouldn't have been so bad, but as soon as I got down there, it started playing scary music. My mom's friend (Banana Pup...see reviews) was kind enough to explore it for me while I hid my eyes, listening to a play-by-play description of what was going on. Then I had to find a whale shark and came across some ruins and some creepy music. Immediately I got scared, my mom's friend took over, and my rating dropped to a 3. We found some artifacts on the ocean floor and when we came back up to the boat, instead of talking to Katherine, there was another cut away scene, looking down at me, like a bird's eye view, saying something like "you must atone to the sleeper." I had no clue what was going on, and revised my rating to a 2. Then I got an anonymous email titled "HE IS COMING"! Then it said something like "darkness and terror eat you up and turn your hair white"! That was enough for me to say I'm never going to play this game ever again. Then it was left as a one star game. I wasn't expecting any of this to happen. Every single review that I read NEVER said anything like that! If you don't like creepy games.....STAY AWAY!
A disappointment

It was a big flop as nothing resembled reality. Characters were wooden, fish unrealistic. A waste of money.

I bought it , because of the positive reviews. For a little kid it might be fun to feed the fish , to "walk" with the fish ad things like that. I wish I had a harpoon...the graphics are simply AWFUL . As I said, if you have a 5 y. old kid , it might work , but for an adult IT SO BORING , you will fall asleep and have nightmares about the money wasted.

I don't even know where to start with this 'game'. It's not even a real game, there's no point to it, you just swim around and interact with sea creatures. You can't die or get hurt, you don't level up, you don't even run out of air. Find sealife pet it, poke it, feed it, get bored. Here's a Great White Shark, hmmmm, let me pet it. Hey, a Stingray, I'll pet him too, it worked out well for Steve Irwin. Ok, that was bad, I miss Steve a lot. I'm sure he'd hate this game too though.
Takes boredom to a new level!

I read the reviews here on Amazon and thought that this would be a great game. I bought it, got home and played it.
What a letdown, this game is boring and tedious. My kids won't even play it, there is no action, no danger, no nothing. They don't even let you have a harpoon gun! If you like to pet fish, then this game is for you.
Petting fish is not exactly what I was looking for in a game.
Not quite what I was expecting.

I purchased this game primarily on the reviews which led me to believe I'd be getting a free-roaming scuba simulation with a little game tacked on.
Really though that isn't the case. Your ability to free roam is limited to a small circular area of a few hundred square feet which you can't leave. If you want to roam further you have to move your boat which then moves the boundary to the new point. But to get the use of the boat you have to perform several tasks first - in fact to get use of several items you have to perform these tasks.
Perhaps later in the game the boundary gets bigger - not sure. The mandatory 'teach your dolphin to somersault' sub-game turned me off so much I doubt I'll return.
Very disappointed.

I bought this because I am a diver, and the other reviews were favorable. OK, the graphics aren't too bad, but there really is no purpose. There are no challenges relating to diving or the wildlife. The whole purpose, more or less, is to pet fish. That's right, pet fish. After a couple of hours I was ready to open a vein. So I had my 16 YO daughter try it. Maybe I was expecting too much, being a diver. It took her less time than me to lose interest. I would have rated 1 star, but it does make a nice coaster.

I could basically cut and paste the previous 2 star reviews and it would sum up how I felt about this game. You get little mini missions where you have to take pictures or take people diving with you but there's no pop there's... no point. Its sort of educational I guess, I wasn't really paying attention to the information that is given about the fish too much as I was looking for the fun to begin. I probably played it a total of 2 hours exploring the sea, poking, petting and feeding fish. I was hoping something, anything would happen to make it slightly challenging or keep me interested. That did not happen.
This would not be a game I would purchase...I'm very glad I rented it so I can return it. :)

As a fan of the virtual fishtank I expected to find a lot more fun from this game. The characters are lame and the discovery process is flat. The protagonist (aka you) in the game is a pony-tail guy who's supposed to be a trained diver with no knowledge of the ocean. Huh? Except for the trained diver part, I couldn't relate at all. Your sidekick is all smart about the ocean but acts like a ditz. Moving around the boat (and moving the boat around) is tedious. Swimming around and looking at fish is enjoyable for a while, but it does get old.

This game is very relaxing if you want a break from the norm of playing games. This is an educational and low key game. Not bad for me but for two kids 6 and 3 noway too young and there is alot of reading for them.
