Hmmmm what about the races

The most impressive thing about NWN is that there are 7 races and 11 classes to choose from. Each race has different skills and abilities, also the classes have different skills and abilities. Think of all the endless possibilities that you can have just selecting your own character. The races are: Human, Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, Half-elf (a mixture of a human and elf), Half-orc(a mixture of a human and orc), hafling.
I am not done even telling you about the classes. Some races have a favored class like a Half-orcs favored class is a barbarian. But most of the races do not have a favored class.
The classes are: barbarian, bard, cleric, druid, fighter, monk, paladin, ranger, rogue, sorcerer, and wizard.
There are 77 ways to select your character. Well make that like 57 ways because you dont want a Half-orc being a wizard but if you want to it will be very original. If you want more information about NWN I suggest you go to nwn.bioware.com.
I hope you like my review and will be waiting to see you on multiplayer.

Neverwinter Nights might just be the
thing to create an explosion of new D&D RPGers.
Why, you ask, would such a
game deliver where so many have
promised and fallen short?
Primarily, it's because the game's multiplayer
potential is HUGE. With an incredibly
simple dungeon editor, even the most
unimaginative, dice-hating newbies should
be finding themselves enjoying a traditional
DM-hosted game. Already clans and servers
are forming, and I foresee this game becoming as
popular in multiplayer circles as Diablo II, CounterStrike,
and other games. NWN could even hold its own
against MMORPGs,being free to play and FAR
less time consuming than EverQuest, for example.
Despite what other reviewers have
said, the single-player campaign
is excellent. The game does not focus
on a specific group of levels like
Baldur's Gate I and II did, allowing the
player to enjoy all aspects of the gaming
spectrum, from newbiedom to godlike powers
at level 20. The rules are completly
faithful to third-edition rules.
While the gameplay is cliche-ish at first,
the plot and quests are totally engrossing by Chapter 2.
Does this mean NWN is perfect? No.
As with any other game, Neverwinter
has its share of flaws. While the
graphics don't really meet up to
the hype, they are still much better
than any BioWare D&D title
to date. The game is pretty buggy,
but generally the bugs don't interfere
too badly with gameplay, and
patches are probably on their way.
I greatly anticipate the expansion and the sequel.
Great transfer from the original

When this first came out I was a little apprehensive about buying it due to some bad reviews, but after buying it anyway, I was pleasently surprised. It's a great adaptation of the original game.
Blown Away!

I had to review NWN and just say that this game lived up to the hype. I had been waiting for this game for years and during the legal dispute many people thought it would never make it to stores.
It's out.. and its freakin amazing. Bioware is famous for their Baldurs Gate and Icewind Dale games.. but this takes the cake. I haven't been able to stop playing since I installed it.
The multi-player has huge promise once people get some dedicated servers going.
If you like RPG's or played the pen and paper version of AD&D, you're going to dig this game.
Enough out of me, I've got to get back into the game.
Great game, and player made models can be fun

NWM turned out to be a great game, and I look forward to expansions and further use of this gaming engine.
While the plot is somewhat linear, the game plot turned out to be different than I expected. People your character starts to look up to changing sides, and you even get a chance to win them back to the "good" side. That, in itself, was fun.
The only downside was that you were a solo character with one sidekick for the single player game. I played a Paladin, since a fighter with self healing ability that doesn't rely on potions can be useful, especially when starting out. I kept the thief throughout the game, just so he could find traps for me. I would have liked to round out a more balanced party, but that isn't an option in single-player mode.
Multi-player can be a total hoot, though. Especially if you set up your own game with friends you know. Tried it with a few friends from my college days, and we had a blast. We had to crank the difficulty up a little, but we enjoyed ourselves.
Finally..someone did it

I was a little leary at first, knowing the kinds of bugs that are usually in new games when they first hit the shelves but I was pleased to see that bugs are really not that bad. The game and its graphics are wonderful, the story line is great but the module builder is really what I looked forward to. It pretty much offers everything that is in the game, as far as graphics and templates, but more and more is becoming available thru the various fan sites. Bioware has been very good at answering questions and if they keep even half the promises made for more material for the tool set, well.....I see many more late nights coming.
Better Than Dungeon Siege

First I bought Dungeoun Siege thought it was great. Know shortly after me and a brother of mine who have been playing games like these knew that somehow this game would beat Dungeon Siege. It did much more features for your character. Straight Advanced D&D rules which makes things more understandable (if you don't happen to figure out in the manual about your characters abilitys or a monsters look it up in a D&D book). Great graphical performance and I find alott less erorrs with this game than the aposing Dungeon Siege:-(. It's also very multi-platform and is able to be played on Linux! You won't ever be able to say that with Microsoft:-(. Very great story these guys always surprise me with a new and original story each time. This game seems allot longer than Dungeon Siege too I beat Dungeon Siege much faster than this one! You can also keep going with a great and easy level creator that blows the time consuming and very buggy Dungeon Siege:Siege Editor. A must be but only if you got the time if not don't waste your money on it especially Dungeon Siege.
Absolutely fantastic!

My wife bought me this for Christmas, on a gaming store clerk's recommendation. I was skeptical, at first, but soon was completely absorbed in this game.
Stunning graphics, intuitive interface, and seemingly neverending possibilities (have you looked at the modules available on the website?!!) this game is worth every penny and then some.
One correction to the editorial review above: Druids can shape change AND change back at will. I played a druid all the way through the first time, and was thrilled with the character.
This game is awsome!!

I started by downloading the free demo and fell in love with the game. I went out and bought the full version four days later. I haven't been disappointed. The game delivers true D&D gameplay for the solo player. The interface is simple yet powerful enough to allow you to setup your own style of play. TEhis is by far one of the best games I have ever bought. I own lots of RPGs and even played D&D a bit, and this game is awsome. Might even call it the standard for RPGs to follow.
Oh yeah did I mention the FREE internet play.
Eons Ahead of Computer RPGs

A major advance in how we look at and enjoy computer based RPGs. It is the closest thing to tabletop gaming as I have found on the computer. You can play online with as many as 63 other people each controlling an independant character in the same world...and something that one person does directly effects everyone else in the game.
Some problems I have with it...Too damn linear. I understand it is a quest based game, and not a Diablo Hack and slash. But there is a lot of hacking, and just as much slashing, and little if any political intrigue or establishing a Name for your character, at least not in single player. I would like to be able to buy my warrior a castle and attract followers, set my assassin up as head of the guild, and even found a underground cult with my priest of death. No go in this game. Too much treasure hiding in barrels too. The monsters should be using the full plate +2 and the Long Sword +3, not leaving it in a barrel somewhere. But overall, the best game...EVER!
