(im 15 not 13)I love to play halo 2 on(xbox live online) its the best (xbox live online) game ever.So you guys or girls that love to play (xbox live online) or offline this is the game for you.

If anyone rates this game under 5 they mustn't have played it right. This game is perfect on everything exept for the movies, the sometimes go flat for a few seconds and but it doesn't matter because you hardly realise it. After you have finished campaign (on single player or co-op) you can have hours of fun in splitscreen. Even if you don't like versing your friends you can get in a banshee and go on building rooftops and hard to reach places. Overall I think this is one of the best games to date. Halo 2 is definetly one of the best games you ever have and ever will play (on a modern-day console). The graphics are splendid, with small touches that brings the game to life. Even off HDTV the graphics make you feel like you are living the part of the Master Chief, interstellar hero of the human race. The sound can also be gushed over. Shooting any gun is a perfect example of this. This game is super-immersive, and it has a great storyline. The game requires you to use tactics, whereas most FPS games have enemies that are waiting for you to kill them, these use cover and even adapt to environment changes. Yes, there is destructible scenery (which is superbly rendered), and vehicles get damaged realisticly. The only bad side to this game is that every now and then, the graphics switch off bump-mapping for about half a second, then they turn on bump-mapping, so that looks a little sloppy. However, this can easily be overlooked because of all the incredible gameplay. This is Definetly a game you should get. The multiplayer is also fun, and is cleary the focal point of the game. And for only $5.00 extra you get a DVD loaded with special features like the "making-of", deleted scenes, etc. Worthy of a 100% rating indeed.

I cannot rate "how much fun the game is" or "how I would rate the game overall" as I still haven't recieved my pre-ordered copy. I pre-ordered HALO 2 from Amazon 9.10.2004 and today 11.9.2004, the day I was supposed to have it, I still don't see it set to Ship fro Amazon/Targe t or whoevers supposed to be handling my order. I tried to upgrade my shipping, yes I was willing to pay more, but I was not able to get the change made. My order at present reads "shipping soon", ok, that tells me alot. Not happy with how the order was handled. I was working on the understanding that if I pre-ordered HALO 2, my copy would ship on either the 8th or 9th of November, not be held up. Bad marketing Amazon, bad handling of my order, may you get a lump of coal in your stocking for Christmas.

Figure this one out. I ordered a copy for myself early in October.
I then about 5 days ago ordered a copy to be sent to my brother. Now it says that my brothers copy (ordered later) is shipped, my copy is still to be shipped soon. And even though the local Meijer
has the game in stock, Amazon won't let me cancel my still to be shipped order. Refrickindiculous.

This game sucked, if you have something that works why fix it. Ok make the graphics better, make the environment more destructible but don't do what Bungie did. They made all the fans hate the ending; hate the changes to the human weapons, although the some of the covenant weapons are ok. I predict Bungie will make a lot of money from Halo 2 but no where as much as they would have if they had some, or more input on the beta versions of the game from the everyday gamer.

I just received my copy of Halo 2 in the mail. I pre-ordered Halo 2 on November 2003. It shipped on the Nov 9 2004 and I received it Nov 13 2004. It only took 4 days to get here. I currently live in Japan, so that is pretty good. Remember that there is some type of picking order, first to order and first to receive. I think it is really up to which company you order it from. I don't know why your friends will not get a copy until Nov 18. The only con I saw from pre-ordering a copy of Halo 2 was that I was charged when I first ordered it and charged again when it shipped, but Amazon was right on top of it and and quickly refunded the second charge.

I will write a detailed review after I play the game.

I got this the night is game out, and i am still hooked. If your a die hard halo and FPS fan i reccomend this game,i rarly get on xbox live but when i do its so much fun! the only thing we got that troubles most of the online people are modders. if u read this thank you for taking the time to read it.

I preordered in August. It's November 9th. I have no game.

Amazon, you dropped the ball big time. I promise never to order (let alone pre-order) anything related to videogaming again from Amazon. Simply unacceptable. I could have preorder from Best Buy, but no, I tried to be an Amazon loyalist.

Stupid, stupid move, Amazon.
