This is a epic rpg. This game is HUGE. It is old school but it is still the top rpg out there. This game is not for the hack n slash lovers. this game has depth beyond belief. If you are looking for a epic rpg then this game is for you.

May i say that this is one of the most time consumeing games that isnt online....
Well ive spent way too long on this game for what ive gotten in return.
it ruined 3! of my games i started! and i can assure you that i have a fully functional xbox.
this game glitches... gets really time consumeing in a bad way.... dumb story.... bad! graphics!
i love elder scrolls 4: oblivion... but this game gives me the wiggins.
my brother likes this game alot but me and him don't see eye to eye....
in my opinion this is a bad game all around....
The correct title should be "NARROWMIND"

I am not a fan of the slasher type games... you know, you kill one bad guy and it's pretty routine after that. I got this game because I thought it would be interesting and fascinating to play.... what was I thinking? The graphics on this game look great if this were 1990, but pale by comparision to the graphics of most other games on XBox, and don't even come close to Myst 4 on my Macintosh. The interactivity is truly dull, everyone asks you dumb questions like "I am waiting" and "My patience is thin"... wow, you could get that kind of conversation at the supermarket line! I have played this nonsense for 2 hours and I will now use it as a coaster. Blech!
For the smart people

Hmmm... The guy near the bottom is an complete idiot for saying this game sucked... Maybe because he dosent know how to play different game other than lord of the rings (attack and kill... point of game. Thats it.) So dont listen to people like that guys. If youre a smart person, youll be able to actually play a game that isnt only based on one button. You can do what ever you want in this game, you dont HAVE to go on the main quest, really. Do what you want, when you want, how you want- As they say. By the way, im 14. =P
A deep and epic game.

As the old song goes, "go where you wanna go; do what you wanna do", in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind you can. You can play in a linear timeline if you wish, or just wander and interact with the environment playing the cad or crusader and anything in between. The character you develop learns, trains, fights or runs away, provokes or cowers as you wish in an alternative fantasy universe with as many personalities among the non player characters as you can imagine. Never forget, though, your character was brought to Vvardenfell for a purpose... The attention details and scenery is very obvious; Bethesda Softworks made sure a quality product was created. The PC version has a juicy construction disk which is almost as fun as the game and lets you add your own touches. There is also a vast fan base and quality web sites to round out the overall fun of the game. The XBox version, although without the add-ons of the PC version, allows you to watch the action on the "big screen". The XBox version isn't without it's flaws, though. The game locks up later in game play and the maps will become corrupted and useless in the later stages. Between the two versions, the PC copy is superior. Whichever version you choose, prepare to sacrifice many, many hours of your waking (and sleeping!) hours in pure imagination and flights of adventure!
Best RPG ever

Unbelievable, worth every glitch and long load screen, the best RPG ever made, really. I put over 200 hours in to this game, it was just great fun, spent two days diving randomly for pearls in the clams in the water. Everything in the game is that detailed!
Morrowind is huge but is also a dissapointment...

First of all I got this game because I heard that it was so large and immersive, lots of towns, forests, dungeons, people, races, battles and QUESTS a big bunch of QUESTS but I think it lacked something... When I first got this game in my hand, I was so excited I was like "Oh! Im going to be hooked for weeks!" But Man, I was dead wrong...
There is no main plot I guess.. you are just a prisoner about to be released in the land of morrowind (Tamriel) Into a small town called Seyda Neen. That's were you need to put your name, race, class and birth sign. The first thing that draws my attention was the water. It looks real and It reflects everything like it should be in Real life. I have never seemed a game with such great water graphics, the town was very well detailed from little shacks to big buildings and towers.
The graphical department such as CHARACTERS they are... decent... Is like when you are talking to them they will say something like "Speak Quickly Outlander" but they will not show a different expression they will always have the same old and pale reflection when you come up near to them its a great downside really, and when they speak something to you, you will just see their lips moving but they are really not synchronized with the line they are currently expressing to you.
The buildings (Outdoors and Indoors) are very well packed, you will see curtains, carpets, tables, chairs and a lot of others furniture, almost everything in this game is take able from forks to plates and that's another fact that I was attracted to this game. In the outside, the building looks like it supposed to be in Real life, there are different kinds of buildings depending of which people or culture live there, so it really adds to the story, it was very well implemented and I was glad they managed to do that.
There are a lot of character models with different outfits, races, hair accent and culture. But once you get into Balmora they will look very similar. The monster on the other side though I haven't finished the game myself, but the outdoor monsters looks like they should be, there are little monster, medium sized monsters and big monster. They tend to intercept you more often than expected. There aren't a lot of forest... I only have seem an immersed forest in the land of Soltheim, and it wasn't a big deal, the forest on the mainland looks deserted and with not a lot of trees, nothing but bushes... there is also different types of land and a big mountain on the middle of the mainland. The map is very very large and detailed so that's another good fact of the game (you can easily get lost but the game comes with a map that you can see every time you want to)
The gameplay mechanics in this game is kind of interesting but is not a big deal either, you can either change your camera to a first person mode (Half life plox?!) or a Third Person mode (yeah!) though I have to say that the frame drops when you are in the third person mode... so is better to stick with the first person mode.
This game is good for you if you like to think and make decisions; there is a lot to do in this game! But the game is slow-paced and you will feel sometimes overwhelmed... the music is also a big downside since there is no variety in it. And Think twice before going to make a killing spree because the loading time takes more than 4 minutes.
this game is the bomb and the shiz.

let me start of by telling u that this game is the shiz.im not very far in the game ok maybe i have'nt done one mission yet but i steel a lot of stuff from balmora.heres somthin that u peoples should like.there a gem in balmora called the grand soul gem which u can steal at the mages guild.the women at front desk ignore her and walk behind her look down you'll see a grand soul gem and some other gems but the grand soul gem is worth 60,000 drakes.steal and run out of the guild then run to the south wall and join that place and ask sugar lips for price of ur head she says to go downstairs and talk to the guy behind the desk.scroll down on what to say and say price of ur head.he will say get the price off ur head for half price for 100 drakes and the best part about this is u get to keep the grand soul gem and u get the price off ur head for half price.the grand soul gem is worth it and one other thing DONT TRY AND ENCHANT UR WEAPON WITH THE GRAND SOUL GEM AT THE MAGES GUILD BECAUSE THE WOMEN AT THE FRONT DESK SAYS THATS MY GRAND SOUL GEM THEN SHE TAKES IT BACK AND YOULL HAVE ANOTHER PRICE ON UR HEAD AND THE MAGES GUILD WILL BE AFTER U UNTILL U GET THE PRICE OFF UR HEAD.hope this helped u.

When I first bought this game, I thought it would be awesome. So I spent 20 dollars on one of the worst games ive ever played. The world that you are in is huge and easy to get lost in, but there is a big variety of things that you can do. You can kill store owners and steal all of there stuff, but if you take too much you wont be able to move. Overall rating 1.5 stars.
