This game rocks. I'm just barely into it and I can't stop. Yes, it does have some bugs. The game does take quite a while to load. And it does sort of stutter every now and then, but hey, nothing is perfect. If you are bored and have a bunch of free time on your hands, get something as mentally stimulating as this game. Also, use your map that comes in the game. It will help you out a bunch with finding the towns that you will need to go to do the quests.
Morrowind ( if you havent beat it I give away the ending)

"In the waning years of the third era of tamriel a prisoner was taken without out explanation to the province of morrowind ingnorant of the role he was to play in that nation's history."
Where to begin...
You start out on a ship with another prisoner then your taken where you get to pick your race from 10 different races all with special abilites. Then your taken and you get to pick your class from 21 different choices or you can make your own custom class. Then you pick your birth sign. then your released into the wonderful place of morrowind where you have 27 different skills to raise. well if you do the main quest you learn that your supposed to be some great reborn here called the nerevarine and that only you can defeat morrowind's greatest enemy dagoth ur although you have to go through much before you can even have a chance at him. like you must be named hortator of the 3 great houses Hlaalu,Telvanni, and Redoran and you must be named nerevarine by the 4 ashlander tribes urshilaku, ahhemusa, zainab, and erabinimsun. you must once you do that you must convince the only god king you meet of the 3 in this game whose name is vivec that you are really lord nerevar reborn then after that its off to red mountain to kill dagoth ur guided by azura queen of the night sky and nibani maesa her humble servant you complete the main quest and once you have killed dagoth ur you see azura one last time and she assigns you the duty of protecting all of morrowind. then thats the end of the main quest but of course there are tons of other things you can do like join guilds like the fighters guild, mages guild, thieves guild, morag tong, you can also join one of the 3 great houses and work your way up. well that is the end of my review so i'll tell you a little about my charachter he is level 91 has beaten the main quest is grandmaster of house hlaalu knight of the imperial legion (highest rank you can get) i am also the highest rank in the fighters guild, mages guild, and in the morag tong if you are thinking of buying this game it is not wasted money you could play everyday for an hour for an entire year and not be able to complete every thing there is to do on this game. it is just truly a magnificent game.

This game just totally rocks in every way! You can go anywhere, whenever, and do whatever, whenever. It also has high replayability due to the myriad of factions and guilds you can join, and characters you can create. My only beef is the environments. The Imperial Legion towns were really awesome, but many of the Dunmer strongholds were too "cookie cutter" and I got really sick of Vivec. Everything got to looking the same after a while. It took me a long time to get through the Main Quest.
I played as many different types of characters and joined many guilds but my hands down favorite is the Argonian, and I finally decided not to tempt fate and take sides. The Thieves Guild is really tough to master. Get the guide because you'll need it!

Right off the bat let me tell you one thing: Morrowind III is a great game. The animation might not be great, but don't let that trick you into thinking that is a crappy out-dated game, because you would be dead wrong. Morrowind is a great RPG for XBOX (one of the few). You have limitless possibilities for what you can do. You dont even have to follow the main quest if you don't want to. You can join any of the various guilds, houses, etc. and rising through the ranks will take a considerable amount of time. This is not a game you can finish in a few hours. This is not even a game you can finish in a few days. With so much to do and see this makes for a great game. It is totally customizable (name, race, class, etc.) right down to how much the NPCs like you. Using an endless array of magic, weapons, armor, and items, you can choose any path you want. This is my second favorite RPG for XBOX (my favorite is Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic which, if you haven't already, you have to go out and buy because it is awesome). All in all, a very good game. (A little advice: get the Platinum Hits version of the game. Its the same game but its 10+ dollars cheaper.)
You HAVE to be an RPG person.

Trust me-this will be no fun if you like game like the Punisher or whatever where you just kill things. There is some thinking involved. But this here is the epitome of RPGs, THE RPG, and if it crashes or freezes duh it is your Xbox's fault. I also highly recommed you buy the Strategy Guide.
Potentially Great, But Crashes and Freezes too often

I really think it is a shame when a game this good(probably the best RPG on the market)has to crash so much you want to quit playing it.
This Xbox version of "The Game of the Year" edtion of Marrowind which is a sequel to the already out, "Marrowind Elder Scrolls III" game. It combines Marrowind with two other related games, making one really big game. To play it you already have to have the original game saved on your xbox.
Unfortunately the "Game of the Year edition" was not put together right and is a sad sequel to maybe the best RPG game ever created because after the tenth time it crashes in an hour, you don't feel like wasting anymore of your day.
Morrowind is SUPER!

I just bought Morrorwind yesterday, and I played it right away. I started the game and the weather effects along with the weaponry and character designs threw me into a different world! It is a spectacular game that relates to real life. You can take things, but if you steal, you can get taken to jail or evil killed! Isn't that cool! Get this game. It is worth every penny!

It is my opinion and obviously the opinions of alot others that this is by far one of the best games ever on the xbox system right above KOTOR. I think that not only should it be the game of the year but the game of the century, even though the graphics are not top notch that maps are endless and you can basicly explore any terrain and challenge any enemy as long as you have the time to put in to it. This game easily has up to atleast 300 hrs of playing time (not including exploring and tomb raiding) and just the fact that you have freedom to basicly do whatever you want makes this game amazing, for example you need a new sword and you have no money so you just walk into a shop take one and walk out, there is no other game that i know of that has the same freedom to do what you can do in this game and the only way that this game is choppy is if you are trying to run it off of an antique xbox.
