at first, this game may appear to be just another crash bandicoot, i mean its an easy mistake to make! simular crash style plot line and characters... i could draw a lot of specific simularities, but they are irrelivent. The game itself is far more challenging then any crash and more enjoyable as well. This game may not be enjoyable for those easily frustrated...you spend alot of time looking for secret passages, and object.. but thats fine with me, i think a good challenge is a good thing!
on top of this, it boasts (in my opinion) the best animation style graphics of its class, and has close to no load time (those of us who have played the new crash game understand how painful load time can be.. ugh) Overall its a very enjoyable game and i hope that there will be a sequel.

Jak and Daxter once again disobeyed the Green Sage, and wandered off into Misty Island, an island full of evil creatures and mysical ecos. One of the ecos are Dark Eco, one of the most dangerous toxins known to man. It changes you at random. You could turn into a scientific nerd, an attractive jock, a rabbit, an ottsel, or an insane madman. Two of these things become reality to Jak and Daxter .As they arrived on the island, they noticed something wasn't right. As they moved in to investigate, the saw two warlock and witch looking monsters, ranting about how to "take over the world." Jak and Daxter ran off, but, before they could, poor Daxter fell into a pool of dark eco, and emerged an ottsel...the rest of the story you can figure out yourselves...
Jak and Daxter:The Precursor Lagacy was one of the first Playstation 2 games released. With state of the art graphics, witty comeback and an enchanting plot, this is a must have. Buy it if you're a fan of Mario, Banjo-Kazooie, Crash Bandicoot, Tomb raider or Spyro.

Jak and Daxter is pretty much like Crash Bandicoot over again but with diferent characters and story plot. Besides that it's a fun game to play. Jak is the hero and Daxter the little fuzzy dude is his smart mouthed friend...which does nothing but sit on your shoulder throught the whole game. The game starts to get really hard after playing it for awhile almost impossible. the graphics are pretty cool. there's even time periods in the game day, noon, night, sunrise and sundown. The controles are pretty easy too.

This game is awesome.The environment is very detailed.The graphics are wonderful.This game is just like Crash Bandicoot but 5 times better.If you want to find a game that will give hours of gameplay, hilarious scenes, an immersive world then this is the game for you.I want to thank the creators of this game for making such an extremely, unbelievable, fantastic game.

Jak and daxter is basically a game were you must collect Powercells , Metal fly thingys and orbs . It is short but packed with action . The ending is confusing and there should be a sequel.

-Diffucult Power cells followed by too easy ones
All in all ,If you Hadnet bought it already you sould.

I am still playing the game (I'm almost at the end now). But I must admit, I'm a 29yr old video game junkie... and I love this game! The graphics are great and the fun factor rates top notch. My 9yr old daughter plays this game too. It has provided some fun family time. I am happy we spent the money AND time to explore this game. It was well worth it.

I only like to highlight keypoints when writing a review, for the simple reason of keeping it short and to the point. Grapihcs are very colorful and beautiful. Sound/effects are very cool. Controls WILL response when you act. Story is fun & entertaining. All of the chracter voice-overs in the game are well done, with good humor. Buy this game, you will have a blast.

When I first played this game I knew that it was not an average Platformer title. It had good graphics, good controls, good gameplay and everything else was perfect about this title. The game makers paid a lot of attention to everything and you can see that in the game. The game plays like the usual platformer, but its gameplay and side quests make it above average.
The only problem I had with this game was that it was to short. I beat in about 5 hours with everything done. Other than that the game is brilliant and suited for all ages. Go out and buy.

This game is awesome. Your friend daxter is changed into a different creature. The only way you can can change him back is get to the blue sage. You have to cross over this firey canyon. The only way to do that is to fly an a grad zoomer equipped with a heat shield. You need 20 Power cells to power it. You have to trade, get, and complete missions to get them. I would tell you more but, I don't want to ruin it. The sound + graphics are great. An awesome game. I highly reccomend this.
