I played this game at E3, the computer game convention in Los Angeles...it wasn't completely finished, but what I saw was absolutely fantastic. Imagine a world where you can go anywhere you want at any time. The movement and animation of all the characters is really superb, but the main characters really shine. If you're looking for a game that isn't littered with violence and blood, and has gameplay that will last for days and weeks, then this is the game. Remember, these are the guys that CREATED Crash Bandicoot...and now they have turned their creative talents toward a new set of characters. Mario and Luigi look out, here comes Jak and Daxter!

this will be the "Mario" of playstation 2. played the demo and it's great. graphics, control, and just plain fun.

I went to an anime convention in the city yesterday and for some reason there was a Jak and Daxster game hooked up to a ps2.I fell in love with the game the instant my hand touched the controller.The graphics are amazing,the gameplay is to and it has a great story and is very funy too.I love naughty dog even if they did leave crash to Konami.This is a must have for any ps2

This game looks like it has great graphics it also looks funny.
This game looks great because I like Crash Bandicoot games and I heard this game is just like Crash Bandicoot games. The abilities look cool and you start off with a spin like Crash and a punch. This game looks like a good game so you should preorder it or wait until you can buy it. I CAN'T WAIT.

I first thought this game would (...) compared to crash bandicoot, but I was wrong. This game has all the perfect materials for a platformer and gorgeous graphics with no load times. Coming out in December,it will perfectly fit in your Christmas list.

I just received my playable demo of Jak and Daxter and have gone crazy for this game ever since. The graphics are perfect, the game is FUN, it runs VERY smoothly, and there are NO LOADING TIMES! That amazed me the most. I have played the demo 16 times and I am gonna play it some more. It's just so fun and beautiful. The controls are great and there are many fun objectives that you actually want to complete. When I said no load times earlier, I mean't NO LOADTIMES WHATSOEVER! Everthing just runs seamlessly and there is never a dull moment. PS2 owners, DON'T PASS THIS UP! X-box or Gamecube owners, GET A PS2!

This game is simply wonderful. Brought to you by the guys over at Naughty Dog, (yes the guys that made Crash Bandicoot). Speaking of Crash, if his games were this good, then the first one would still be played! This game has free roaming, it's a world where you can go anywhere whenever you want without waiting for loading times and cutscenes. The game's gameplay is also good, going from a run straight into a kick is seamlessly smooth! It's funny too! If you want to see more buy the PS2 Winter Jampack!

Finally My PS2 is Gonna Get Some Use!

After getting my PS2 this summer and playing DOA2 into the ground my system pretty much just sat there on the shelf. And after the titles that Sony released this past year, I was beginning to think I might never go near my PS2 again.

Jak & Daxter however, changed all that! After seeing the game on a demo disk (which was not a playable demo) I knew I HAD to have this game. I was so impressed, I couldn't even wait for the game to come out, and had to order myself a playable demo for it. Which I hope will be here soon, until then I keep going back to watch the preview of the game I have over and over again.

The graphics are some of the most colorful, detailed and all around gorgeous that I've ever seen on any game! The lightning effects that Jak takes on when he uses is power-ups, has to be seen!

It looks like they've also spent a great deal of time creating characters with humor and unique personalities to help move the story along, expansive worlds to explore, and intuitive ways to defeat the bad guys, can't wait to try out my skills against that potted plant!

I'm a big fan of the Spyro games and this looks to become an even bigger favorite than those.

For Adventure lovers this looks to be THE game to get this year!

Thank you NaughtyDog for making a game that made me remember why I liked video games so much in the first place!

I got a demo of Jak and Daxter in the mail today. After poppin' it into my PS2 I was pleased with what I saw. Similar to Spyro the Daragon but with more maturity...in a way. The graphics are great and the colors are brilliant. There is no draw in on the background with just a little bit of a fogging technique used. It's a ton of fun to play and the extroardinary detail and gameplay makes the game more addictive. The main character has moves much like Crash Bandicoot but better. I was amazed with the fluidity (yes, fluidity is a word)of the games graphcics and the textures. I think that the older audience will find Jak and Daxter quite addictive. The one thing that iritates me is that i don't know how long the game is but from the demo movie, the creators of the game said that it took three years to make so hopefully it is a long game. To sum it up, Jak and Daxter should be on your Christmas list.
