Naughty Dog has once again redefined the way the world plays games with this new & amazing platformer. The gameplay is amazing, with varied and universally interesting challengies, and controls that are as responsive as they are intuitive. The real leap forward with this game, however, is graphical. Jak and Daxter boasts the best graphics ever seen in a game of its genre - and on top of that, it does it with absolutely no load times, unheard of on the PlayStation 2. (Hear that, developers? No one has an excuse to make me wait anymore!) No wonder the game was four years in the making. Technically, as well as in terms of Gameplay, Jak and Daxter raises the bar for platform games in a way that hasn't happened since Mario 64. Although children may find the later levels too difficult at times, this should definitely be in any self-respecting PS2 owner's library.

First off, i have to say this game is AWESOME!... The graphics are outstanding, the gameplay is superb, and, well, it just rocks!! I just got this game a day ago and I am about, say, 20-21 hours in. Some people say this game is to easy most of the time. I think not!! It's got its' fair share of difficulty. And, Kiera is hot!! I mean smoking, but her stupid voice ruins it all. I do have a few complaints though, I don't know if my cd was [defective] or what, but I expierenced slowdown alot of the time when I was on Misty Island. It also froze once and everything but the land dissapeared for about 10 seconds. one other thing i like about this game is you get unlimited lives, thus, you can try things over and over untill you get it right, good stuff. Any way, I think this game deserves 5 stars, no more than that. Also, there is barely any loading times, this is a big bonus. It's got better graphics than crash bandicoot for ps2, and it's just better all around.

The graphics in this game are excellent. Jak and Daxter work together to reach their goal. Daxter, having been turned into a rat, is very funny as a break dancing sidekick. Jak has loads of obstacles and challenges to face. Watch out for the "jaws" shark.
I've been gaming for years. This is lots of game play for your $$.

IT WAS SO FUN!!!
IT TOOK ME ONE WEEK TO BEAT THE GAME.
The game was very entertaining, every second of the game
there was something to do. I liked the graphics very much.
I recommed you buy this game because it's the best game ever made in the whole entire world!

Daxter (the annoying but funny, and fun to listen to sidekick) and Jak (the adventurous, babe magnet, super stud hero) Make a great team. Daxter, with his smart-mouthed remarks, and funny dances and Jak with his smooth moves and...cool clothes!!

WARNING: this game is highly addictive.

This game has everything, great graphics, excellent gameplay, quality sound, and comfortable controls. However, my only critic would be to lenghten the game. Other games of its type like Zelda 64 and Mario 64 were much longer.

this was one of my first ps2 games i ever got. i played it days and days, and i love it still. i keep replaying it because i forgot to do somethings the first time through. plus, i get a crack outta watching daxter dance and talk. from what i've seen, jak never talks. he just sits there and looks kooool. i recomend this game for everyone. especially the younger games, like 8 year olds and stuff. it is really fun for them, but they might want some parent asistance with the problem solving and stuff like that, but as i said,this game is perfect for gamers of all ages

This game is awesome!!!! Its really fun and addictive. The graphics are excelent and the detail of everything in the game like the landscapes, people ect... are perfect!! This is a perfect adventure for the whole family to enjoy. The game is tough and exciting all the way through untill the very end. If you like adventures that are sutibale for all ages and that are cram-packed with action the whole way through then you should definately get this game. The reason why I only gave it 4/5 stars is because the game is soooo short! When i got it I thought i would get a long adventure like at least 20-30 hrs. but still folks please give this game a try. Its worth it. =)

Although not that well known, from what I've heard, this game is really fun and really cute. The characters aren't that obnoxious actually, they are funny for a change. Although the shaking does kinda make me nauseous, and it is kinda hard, it is fun for people who liked stuff like Mario and Crash Bandicoot (yeah, its kinda like a combination of the 2) For this price, I definately recommend it!

This is a poor game. Its fun, but once u play other games like grand turismo 3, twisted metal black, kingdom hearts.... Its a tho its the worst game ever. Its still worth buying, only if u have nothing else better to buy.
