There is nothing I cannot say that the other reviewers havent already said. Buy the game and buy a planner so you can still have a social life after you start playing.
Overrated and overhyped.

It's essentially more of the same we've come to expect from Melee. Brawl features more characters, more stages, and new modes, but the core gameplay hasn't evolved in the least bit.
The new 1P highlight is an adventure mode called "Subspace Emissary," which is essentially Melee's adventure mode extended by a factor of 20 with more of the same gameplay. Except Melee's Adventure Mode was never fun to begin with, and making it this long results in an even bigger chore. It's a sidescroller with monsters here and there, and there is a boss battle once every few stages. As a 2D platformer it's not great.
The Wi-Fi can lag quite a bit and the Friend Code system is still as awful as ever.
Most overrated videogame in the history of videogames.

Dont get me wrong the game is silly fun with some friends over but all these perfect scores are a riot. After playing for a few hours I was wondering if I was playing the same game everyone else is but then again if I was judging this on whats available on the Wii I guess this is as good as it gets. I guess I just dont get it.
This game is great!

Smash Bros. has is a fighter, but its gameplay is just something you can't find in any other game. Brawl continues this formula for the series, with more stages, more characters, and best of all online. You can play with friends and spectate online matches with no problem at the moment, however there is a problem with random matchmaking at the moment and Nintendo is working on it, but I gave this game 5 stars because all the modes in this game more than make up for the online problems.
Buy This Game NOW! Now I tell you! NOW!!!

Hello Everybody! Today I shall do a PRO/CON review on this tremedously fun game. First, let's be positive,
PROS:
(1)One word, Characters! This game has ALOT of new characters. The best of all is Wario, from the Mario series, Captain Olimar, from the way overlooked Pikmin series, and Pokemon Trainer, from the Pokemon series.
(2) The stages are great! From the Lylat Cruise from Star Fox, to the Mushroomy Kingdom, a remake of the level 1-1 from Super Mario Bros.
I really like the Warioware stage. You have to pay attention the challenge as well as winning the match. If you don't, you're foe may get an invincability star!
(3) My Music. My Music is a great new feature where you get to customize what music you want on a particular stage. Example: If you don't want that dorky Isle Delfino music on Delfino Plaza, you can switch it to Super Mario World Ending Theme. (My Fav.)
Now the negativity.:(
CONS:
(1) The LOADING TIME! Jeez, we got flippin' supercomputer consoles here, and we're waiting longer than we were for the Gamecube. Now what is wrong with THAT picture, huh?
(2) 3rd party characters. This is NINTENDO!
Not Snake the Hedgehog & Mario-tendo. Because, frankly, I don't give mushrooms about Sonic and have never heard of Solid Snake.
Well That's it. Bye. :)
All-Around Great Game!

I had been reading about this game for months leading up to its final release in the US. I preordered it from Amazon about a month in advance and eagerly awaited its arrival. My prayer was that it would not disappoint...and it hasn't!
When I first played the game, I was having a hard time getting used to the Wiimote and Nunchuk after all those years of the N64 controller (one of my favorite consoles by the way, and Super Smash Bros for 64 is a classic!). After a few hours, though, it started to make sense. The solo version is a lot of fun and gives you a chance to sample all the great new, and old, characters in the game. You can play the Classic mode or the Subspace Emissary adventure mode, which also has a cooperative option. My personal favorite is the Home Run minigame, where you can beat up a sandbag and then crush it with the bat to see how far it will go. It's awesome!
The multiplayer is just fantastic. Three of my friends and I crowded around to try it out and have been hooked ever since. The levels are just insane, with all kinds of obstacles and transformations. It adds a whole new dimension to the experience! And there are now dozens of items, some of which are just plain wacky. The bombs are devastating, but the introduction of the Smash Ball has been phenomenal. Everyone fighting to get it when it appears creates a maelstrom of destruction, but to the victor go the spoils and the Smash Ball is nothing short of devastating if used properly.
All in all, the more you play the better it gets, and the more characters, items, levels, etc you can unlock. It can be frustrating at first getting used to the new controls, but be patient! It's really an all-around good time once you get the hang of it, no matter what mode you're playing. If you were going to buy one game for the Wii, this has to be it!
The best fighting game ever

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is hands down the best fighting game ever. I've never played a more enjoyable fighting game. Its a fighting game accessible to everybody. To those who are unfamiliar with fighting games, it provides an easy control scheme. To those who are more experienced, it should be a breeze. This game might be accessible to everyone, yet it is a difficult to master. I was reading the reviews with 1 star and I just wanted to scream at the people reviewing them. I've had that game in my Wii since launch, and i've never taken it out since then.
Graphics 9/10- Smooth graphics, and you can decide whether you want 4:3 or 16:9 widescreen. This game also runs at 60 fps, and doesn't slow down.
Sound 10/10- Hearing music from all different Nintendo classics brings that nice nostalgic sound to my ears. Tons of music, in fact, there are about 4 songs per stage.
Replay Value 10/10- I've been playing this game since launch and I've never stopped yet.
Features 9/10- You can never run out of things to do in this game. If you've done everything, try testing your skills in the online mode. The online could of been better, but it's fine with me.
Overall 10/10- Sure, some think it isn't perfect but its fine with me. I got everything I wanted out of this game.
My best Wii Purchase

This is my first ever Smash Bros. game and I have to say it is much better than I expected. It is fun, well made and very polished. The 1 player modes are many and have a lot of depth. You will be coming back over and over again. The multiplayer is where it shines. Get some mates over and you will see hours fly by. There is something horribly satisfying in beating the c**** out of your friends and sending them flying across the screen.
The online mode isn't very extensive and playing on-line isn't as smooth as it should, you will see yourself waiting a bit for other players to join. But this, while disappointing a bit, does not subtract from how simply fun this is. A must buy for any Wii owner.
Spectacular Game

It is an excellent game. It is really fun to play with friends, and this one includes wi-fi online game mode, which is very entertaining.
If you liked Super Smash Bros. Melee, you will definitely like this one.
The game includes new things like:
*12 New characters, which were not available for Melee
*14 secret characters to reveal
*9 New stages to reveal
*9 hr+ adventure mode
* the wii remote, classic controller, and game cube controller can be useed to play
Cons:
* online game mode freezes sometimes, but that depends on the internet connection, not the game.
* the wii remote pointer and motion technology are never used during the game.

This is the game of the year for the Wii. The gameplay is fun, but I dislike the friend codes as it seems to deter me from the online play. Hopefully everyone else who has this game enjoys it as much as I do.
