I was pleasantly surprised by how much I love this game! I've had both previous Smash games, and figured this would just be more of the same. And while the best features from the first two games are still here, there are tons of awesome new features for this game. The one-player game, Subspace Emissary, is a lot of fun. I know some people don't like it, but I find it to be great - an updated side-scroller. Love it! The multi-player mode is just as frenetic as always, but with tons of new characters and items to keep it fresh and exciting. I also really like all having tons of unlockable content, such as trophies, stickers and music, which makes it rewarding and fun to keep playing again and again. Overall, it's just a fun game to play! Very highly recommended to everyone.
SSBB RULES!!!!!

I got this game for my birthday and it rules. The graphics are amazing and I love the music. The adventure mode might take you a while to beat, but it's worth it. If you are thinking of buying this game, you should totally buy it.
Lives up to expectations

Another worthy addition to the smash bros. collection, Brawl has all the classic fun of the multiplayer mode that we have come to expect. But what really impressed me in this game is the sheer amount of single player options, such as the Subspace Emissary Mode, which is really just an excellent addition and feels like a game in itself. This game is pretty much a must have for anyone with a Wii. Even if you haven't played its predecesors, do yourself a favor and pick this one up. Highly recommended
The Best Multiplayer Game Ever.

This is in my opinion the best game to just sit down with your friends and play. The Single player portion of this game is pretty fun as well and is quite long, but it's nothing really special. If you're just looking for a fun game to play when your buddies are over at your house this is as good as they come!

If your parents don't let you get T rated games, then tell them to read this.
I first played Brawl at my friend's house. I thought it was very hard since I never played Super Smash Bros Melee for the Gamecube At my house I learned the controls and got really good. And eventually, beat the game.
Good things about the game:
1. You can play the subspace emissary(adventure mode) with 2 players
2. You can unlock tons of new characters
3. The Brawling never ends!
4. You can use lots of cool final smashes
5. There's much more!!!!!!!!!!
Bad things:
There are none
Tips: After beating the Subspace Emissary, beat classic mode with Link to unlock someone really cool.
Nice but a let down

I like Smash Bros, but if you've played one you've played them all. Again they have made some big mistakes with the game and there are things still not fixed.
Firstly I will say that I'm glad it's 16:9. This is not a small screen game by far. I like being able to play on a big screen. However the graphics aren't really much improved. The character models are nicer but the stages and everything look, well, the same. Some stages look much nicer than others.
The biggest complaint I had about this game was the CPU. It has always been vastly superior to any player. No matter how good you are at this game, the CPU will wipe the floor with you on any difficulty but easy. Even on easy playing against 3 CPU characters can prove to be very difficult. Since in adventure mode you are required to play against the CPU, some parts can be quite annoying in their difficulty level.
The next biggest complaint is the disc. This gets a big "wow what a screw up" from me. First off it sounds like the Wii is bludgeoning my disc constantly. If a robot felt pain this is probably what it would sound like. It's like a constant scream of agony coming from the disc drive. Some matches, and I've timed it, it says "Ready, GO"... then you wait 9 seconds so the disc can load the characters you're supposed to be fighting. In fact in events where you fight 8 characters... if you knock out the two characters on the screen at once you'll have to wait about 5 seconds for the next one to show up because the disc is so painfully slow. Just trying to start a match you can hear it. The worst is playing adventure mode. The videos are laggy and take a bit before they play. Once they are done you have to wait a bit before the level starts. It's actually quite annoying on levels with a lot of cut scenes. It almost feels like I'm playing PSP.
Now for wifi. It didn't even work when I bought the game, but at least it works now. However, any fun had by the game is cut by other people's lack of skill. I know this by the fact that every match I've played, people use cheap characters and they use the same moves over and over. Sad thing is, they can easily beat you like this. So any fun that could be had online is killed by the incredible unbalance of the characters. I can not yet say I've lost to someone good, no I've lost to people who are cheap.
The major failure of this game is its lack of progress over the years. As fun as it is, the gameplay has never been tweaked. Though this might be a good thing to some it comes across to most of us as old and stiff. The only real new element is the smash ball. Otherwise, everything is the same as the gamecube version. I'm just glad wifi actually works.
Hard to improve upon perfection, but Brawl does it

Firstly, I want to say this isn't an in depth review because I just wanted to rate this game its well deserved 5 stars, and I don't think you can do that unless you write something nowadays :P
The game is just as fun as Melee, and there has been a lot added to it which makes the experience even better (Wifi, more characters, stages, stage building, extended Adventure mode now hours instead of minutes long...etc).
Any fan of fighting action should enjoy this game - it is the type of game that warrants being called "a system seller." The fighting in Brawl is most unique in that there are several crazy items and pokeballs that make the experience quite beautifully chaotic.
I can't give this 6 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's hard to explain in writing just how amazing a game like Brawl truly is.It really does have everything you could possibly ask for out of a game. And there is so much content to the game, you will be playing it for years to come.
The premise of Brawl is Nintendo characters are out to beat the heck out of each other. With Smash attacks, special moves with each character and a huge amount of items;such as red shells, baseball bats and bombs. To win a Brawl you must knock your opponet out of the various well detailed levels. It sounds simple but there are so many way to get the job done everyone will have there own unique strategy of doing things which really makes the game fun to play with three other players.
Brawl really hits it home with it's Huge roster! Not everyone is here. But the roster is very very well improved. There are less clones and more unique characters. And even guest characters Solid Snake and Sonic. And the regulars you would expect like Mario,Link and Samus. And maybe some you have no idea are even Nintendo characters like Pit and King Dedede(I knew they were nintendo characters).
Levels are also a huge improvement. There a lot more fun to play on this time and there is a lot more going on in the levels.Such as a huge top of an iceberg that you and three others are fighting on crumbles and falls down into the water. The fight continues, but watch out for a crazy big fish that wants to make you dinner! And if you like calmer levels you got those levels to,and a handful of ones from Melee. This game really gives everyone something to enjoy. And there is even a well done map editor.Giving you endless possibilities.
There are all sorts of modes to keep you busy.An improved Single Player that is more fun then ever combining platforming and fighting. And the single player modes are really where you will be unlocking most of your stuff for multiplayer action. And other modes like multi-man melee and classic mode return as well. There is also all-star and challenges, and you can do mostly all of this with a coop buddy!!
Wi-fi is also added into the mix, adding more replay value to Smash Brothers then ever before. Each match will be a new foe that has a brain and will most likely give you a heck of a challenge.
Graphics are also well done in Brawl.Brawl looks amazing. It's not perfection. But the graphics have a great style, and all these universes Nintendo created fits in well with one another. So from the story cut scenes to characters and levels,Brawl looks amazing.
Epic is the only word that could possibly describe the games music.Everything sounds beautiful. And the majority of the music is music you would want playing if you were in a real fight. It sounds amazing and it's one of the best sounding games made in recent memory.
Overall,I could go on and on about how amazing Brawl is,but people that read can only read so long before getting bored. So I'll sum it up.Brawl may not be perfect in every area. But it deserves a ten for it's heart, and the developers deserve all the credit through the hell they went through to bring this game to us.If you're a gamer of any kind.Buy Brawl!
