the sims 2 in dog form <3

nintendogs totally is the BESTT game everr. it's like the sims 2, only with dogs. you can unlock all these dogs, you get to wash it, play with it, participate in puppy contests, and it's even in real time! it takes a bit long, but the cuteness of the puppies totally makes up for it. it sounds real, and looks real. you can get accessories, etc too :D b plus its great for people like me who arent allowed dogs ==;

I just got this today for my birthday, it's SO cool. I have a Chihuahua named Princess, although I had to type princes because there was not enugh room to fit it's whole name. So I recomend nameing the dogs something short because it has no warning about how many letters you can fit and it only lets you type in their name AFTER you have voice trained the dog it's name. It's kind of slow starting out because you can't really do much but one you train you dog it's really quite fun. It's the best game I've ever seen for a portable game(Ds,Gameboy,ect.).
My mom took me to buy it at our local Toys-R-us but they were sold out of EVERY version,then we tryed Target they were sold out too,but I recomend buying it from there because you get a free "leash" with each game(The leash is really a red strap for your DS) then we when to Best buy and they had a few,so I got it there. It seems better to just order it online since it seems that most of the stores are sold out.
I can't wait untill I earn more money on nintedogs, beause the Yorkies on this game are ADORABLE!

I just got this game it ROCKS! Well I've had it 4 about a week but you understand. It still ROCKS!

This game is cool because it teaches responsiblity.
Also you can do things such as take your dog on walks.
While your on walks you can find presents and gifts and find rare gifts and items like a fireman's hat or a Jack Russell book. Or if thats not your style then, pick up the local gossip by chatting with other digital characters.

P.S. A fireman's hat will unlock a dalmation & a Jack Russel Terrier book unlocks (big suprise) a Jack Russel! If you find these items, after you buy that breed, be shure that you pass on the item(s) so others can unlock it too.

You can do things such as enter your dog in contests like Agilty,
Disc Catching, or Obedience trials. You could come home with a 1,2,3 place trophy.

After that its always good to let your little rascel rest by giving it a good refreshing drink of water and a snack. Then a walk would be a good idea so your dog can "empty" its self out. But if it poops YOU have to pick it up (just be glade its not on your floor!). Trust me you will want to pick up the mess or neighbors WILL complan.(I found that out the hard way!)

Theres so much endless fun for you and your new freind!
So go out and GET THIS GAME!!

The game starts at the kennel. You choose one of the six breeds included in your version (The Chihuahua and Friends version has a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Shetland Sheepdog, German Shepherd, Yorkshire Terrier, Boxer, and Chihuahua. All 18 breeds are unlockable though, including a Dalmation if you find the Fireman's Hat on a walk, and a Jack Russell Terrier if you find the Jack Russell Book on a walk.)

Anyway, each breed has multiple colors and patterns for you to choose, for instance a black-and-tan Chihuahua or just a plain tan one. There are also personalities for the dogs, such as: "This quiet young female will become a part of the family to a trainer with a forgiving heart.". Once you've chosen your dog, the real game begins!

Every day you should care for your dog to gain Trainer Points, or TP. When you get a certain amount of TP, you unlock another breed in the kennel. Like, at 2,000 TP in the Chihuahua version, you unlock a Miniature Pinscher (by the way, you can have up to 8 dogs!). What you can do to earn TP is teaching your dog new tricks, feeding, watering, and grooming your dog, taking your dog for long walks, and entering and winning contests.

Overall I would give this game 5 stars, because it doesn't ever get worn out. With about 200 items to find on walks, and tons of different dogs to choose from, you'll never get bored. I reccommend this game to both people pet owners and non-pet owners alike.

I can't stop playing it! Nintendogs is the funest game EVER!I've had this game for about 2 months and I've gone though 11 dogs, 2 interiors, and I've got 11,138 dollars.This game can be a peice of work though ... that is if you care about your dogs.Feeding dogs, walking dogs, training dogs, and playing with dogs.As you go along( if you take care of your dogs, play with them,win competions, ect. ect.)new items will be up for purchase at stores.As you go through the game remember, dogs have feelings to. They can run away, but it hasn't happened to me!The built-in microphone (on the DS) is a lot of use. Voice commands are often used in this game.ONE LAST THING!Bark mode allows you to play with your friends dogs wirelessly.Wait!!!! I read a review earlier that said that his dog bite him.This can happen if don't TREAT your dog well.I hope this review has helped. IF you buy this game have a great time playing it, and I'll see you in Bark Mode.

This game was fun because when you buy a pet you have to take care of it and if you dont your dog will disobey you or even run away if you dont feed it or give it a bath, walk it, or even play with it. As you proceed in taking care of your pet you will get more kinds of dogs like a jack russel, dalmation and depending on wich version you have the other breeds of the other games. If you pick a dog with a stubborn personality it will be hard to train. If you get a dog with a laid back sleepy personality they are easy to train. When you are a Veteran Tamer with 25184 trainer points you get the breed of a Jack Russel, but it is not as easy as it sounds to become a Veteran Tamer!!! The more often you walk your dog the farther it will want to go. the only bad thing about the Nintendogs games are you can't get a mixed breed.

Today we went out and bought my son a Nintendo DS for his early birthday present. He is going to be 13 next month and decided he would like to upgrade to a DS. I offered to buy him one game for it also and he picked Nintendogs. After charging up the DS he started playing this game...he played with it for hours!!! He easily taught his puppy her name and has taught her many tricks and earned some accessories for her. We bought a REAL puppy 4 weeks ago and the expressions and actions of the NINTENDOG are exact replicas of our real puppy. Nintendo did an amazing job on the graphics with this game. Im not sure how long he will stay interested in this game but a nice feature of it is your puppy wont die if you dont take care of it for a while so you can feel free to put it down and play something else. I am not a gamer but cant seem to stop playing around with this game!! We have a gameboy micro on pre order at a local store for my daughter..but I would have to say that DS RULES!! This is an awesome game for dog lovers who may not be able to have a dog of their own. I have lost track of how many times Ive heard Awwwwww today..very cute and FUN game..highly recommended!!!

This is a great game for people who like unconventional video games. There's no pressure to complete levels or beat bad guys. Just pet and care for your pup. What's really cool is that you use the microphone on the ds to teach your dog tricks using voice commands! No need to use any buttons at all...this game uses the touch screen exclusively. You find and collect accessories and toys for your dog...and can train for competitions. Wanna get a dog, but aren't ready for taking it for walks in the cold or picking up poop? This is perfect for you, then! It was perfect for me!
