Well first of all let me say 'Nintendogs u rock' but sadley it is not going to be realised in Austalia till 22 Sep. I have played the demo version in Kmart and I think it is totally fun! Even though Im 13 I really LOVE dogs and Nintendogs is a great portable pooch.Though I have 2 lil Chihuahuas I still think the game is going to be great and I have already pre-ordered my chihuahua and friends version of the game so I can get it straight on the release date. I found out bout the game in a mag and went to my game stockist to order it! Its also a great bordem buster, you can be amused for hours and its great for long car trips! Ever heard the saying "Are we there yet???" well u wont be hearing that anymore with Nintendogs! My friend who lives in America says she spent a whole day training and playing with her pooch. So I highly recomend this game to all u dog crazy ppl out there!!!

Nintendogs is a "Nintendo" franchise not Sony's

"My recommendation....wait for the PSP version of Nintendogs to come out."

yeah right! You either know nothing about video games or you are a Sony fanboy, Nintendo is the maker of "Nintendogs" (even the name of the game is clear on that!) and it's never ever going to come out on the PSP (made by Sony). Please stop misleading people with such comments.

I greatly recommend to check out www.gamespot.com and read the review they have for Nintendogs (it got 9.1 out of 10), and yes, Nintendogs is one of the most addictive games Nintendo has created, even more addictive than the Pokemon series... hehehe

Enjoy this game because it's really really fun and anybody can play it. :-)

A good game

I do not own this game yet, but my cousin does. She's pretty young and the game seems fairly simple for her to play. After trying out her Nintendogs game, I was amazed by how realistic things in the game were (compared to taking care of a real dog). I have real dog (a pit bull), but this game is pretty fun and I'd recommend it for people who enjoy dogs. This game is also great for young children, it teaches them about the daily responsibilities of having a dog, ie: washing, feeding, walking. It's also a good game for kids that can't have a dog.

Still a good game, but just a list of the trobels.

When we got a DS and Nintendogs (dachshund) I was so happy, I have herd good things about this game, we could not get any more dogs so we got the chihuahua. You always get a room to play with your dogs in and the room for the chihuahua and friends game is better. But to get them full you have to feed them more than a real dog. I also think that the dontate a dog button in the game is wrong to. These dogs may not be real, but they still are pets. Why get rid of them? You might get a little borde, but its still a good game. You won't go wrong buying it. Because its a very, very, very, very, fun and cute game.

Big Heads, Big Hearts

Please read the ending to see why I rated this 3 stars. Not too detailed but a reason.
I do not wish to give fulls rights of anything I write to anyone including Amazon for their own use"

The game is what it is. Puppies really, never adult dogs. You train, feed and love adorable little puppies! I personally think that the puppies were oddly shaped but then it really didn't take away from the realistic personalities that they possessed.

I started with a boxer female named Sprinkles. I couldn't get her whole name in so her name in the game is sprinkl but that's ok. I trained her and won a few trophies and had frustrating moments when she wouldn't cooperate.

You should probably train your puppies slowly for best effect and not worry too much about getting ahead because the puppies are so much fun and so cute that you might have more fun just living with them too. If you push them too hard they might lose interest and you should provide adequate toys and grooming and other care.

It's a realistic simulation that someone who can't have a dog just might appreciate but it is not however a substitute for a real education from books, parents and friends on how to handle, love and care for a real dog. Hope you liked my frazzled review!

Stars:
I took one star for the misshapen pups that just bugged me personally and one star because it just gets a little tiring to have to remember every day to care for them when they are hidden on a tiny card and they can be annoying. So yes, puppies can drive you mad with their antics and quirks. BUT, that is me. YOU may have all kinds of fun!

9.99/10

This is a game the hole family can get in to, my mom, sister and i have all loved our dogs Zara and Chichi. I'd give it a 9.99/10 because it's missing a couple of things, the jumping on your lap when your down and the hugs and kissing and the face-licking goodness. For the most of it, it's a pretty good deal.

I love this game! It's awesome, man!
I won't go through the whole summary thing, because all these other people have done that already. But, yeah. This game is so cool.

The graphics are GREAT! With a capital G! The dogs are absolutely adorable. But, yes, the game can get boring after a while. It is fun teaching your dogs tricks, and taking them on walks and finding new items. But, sometimes there's not much to do. Oh well, I still love it.

And people who say to just go out and buy a real dog...
Sometimes... people live in apartments that don't allow pets :O
And sometimes... people are ALLERGIC to dogs... -you don't say!-
And sometimes... people don't have the MONEY to take care of a real dog :O.

Yeah... sorry about that. Anyways, 4 out of 5 stars! Get this game, it's great!
