This is one of the 10 best games ever made for the pc. Medal of Honor was a game series for Playsation, until EA (Electronic Arts) made up Allied Assault. In the game, you play as Lieutenant Powell, a US Army member doing behind-german-lines work, such as blowing up a U-Boat, Destroying tanks (tiger tanks), stealing Nazi documents, and just pumping (Nazi 's) full of lead as they yell at you in German. The AI is pretty good for an "Easy" mission. One of the most famous missions is the Omaha Beach landing. If you are worried about violence, since its WWII, you shouldnt worry. There is no blood or language, but the only violence is a Nazi shouting german when he gets shot. You get to use famous weapons, like the Thompson SMG, or the M1 Garand rifle, and the famous BAR (Browning Automatic Rifle). This is the best game, and has extremly realistic graphics, so what the heck are u waiting for, buy it!!!!
The greatest to be made.

I tried this game at a friends and was hooked. Having played the other titles, I was hoping for a lot. I got more than expected. The enemy AI is very smart. They will duck, throw back grenades and devastate you from behind. They are also very accurate shots. Be careful! As for missions, each is unique to eachother. Not one is like the others. The Allies you meet are valuable help. Did I mention the realism? Although frustratingly too realistic at times (such as loading times), this game covers everything from sound to details to muzzle flash. No two guns sound a like unless completely necessary (Like a P38 and Colt .45. They had similar chambering and thus sounded similar). This game is a must buy for diehard fans, or beginners in this series. Be sure to get Frontline if you want it for PS2. It is just as good. *Minor note: On the PC Version, D-Day is the third mission. On PS2, it is the first mission.
Too Linear

The games graphics are okay, though I don't usually like this graphics engine, it seems jerky to me, and I know I have the system requirements to handle. I think it handles physics poorly, it seems like you go from running to standing in one frame of video. Too much of this gives me video whiplash.
The game play is tough, but it's straight linear action, and I found that dumb. When pinned down you can't move to flank, you can only crawl forward, so you wind up saving a lot. Plus enemies you can't see are nailing you, and some of that should go both ways. I can't see them, they can't see me.
It's basically like battling your way down a hallway. I think the best games in the war genre are battlefield 1942 (worse graphics but cool teamplay especially online) and ghost recon.
If ubisoft would make a world war two expansion pack or full version game off the ghost recon engine, it would smoke this weak effort from EA.
Just Plain EXCELLENT!

I guess this game is getting to be `old hat', but that doesn't make it any less impressive, IMHO. Everything about this game is superbly done. The environments and interaction with the other characters is completely engrossing. The music is awesome. The sound can genuinely scare you. Attention to historic detail is commendable (nobody's ever perfect here - it's a game, after all). My only complaint is that there isn't anything more difficult than `Hard' - once you map out the action the missions can seem repetitive and the play value at this point is increasing difficulty. Some of the enemy characters are a bit slow on the draw once you know the drill. Still, re-playing familiar missions is kept from getting truly boring by the variability in the other characters' movements, etc.
This game is an awesome achievement and a great deal of fun to play. Very highly recommended. The Spearhead expansion pack is equally well-done.
mohaa vs call of duty

there is no question call of duty's single player is way more intense than mohaa. But call of duty is more difficult single player. Mohaa has the better multiplayer by far, the maps are more interactive, call of duty's maps you cant jump on a door like you can in mohaa etc. But anyway here is what I think:
Graphics: Call of duty: 10 MOHAA: 7
No question here call of duty is much newer and better graphics and more realistic models especially.
Sound: Call of duty: 8 MOHAA: 10
Both awesome sounds but MOHAA sounds better and the D-Day level has incredible explosions and MG42 fire.
Weapons: Call of duty: 9 MOHAA: 9
MOHAA weapons sound better you can aim better with the CoD weapons.
Gameplay: Call of duty: 10 MOHAA: 7
CoD far more intense much more difficult so more realistic.
AI: Call of duty: 10 MOHAA: 5
OK the AI in MOHAA is just horrible most of the enemies stand still which makes you a nazi killing machine and your teammates are worthless but in CoD your teammates are very skilled and help you alot, and the enemy is 10 times better they take cover hide and are far more realistic than MOHAA.
Multiplayer: Call of duty: 7 MOHAA: 10
like I said before MOHAA maps much better but CoD is more realistic in multiplayer so you die quicker which is bad because noobs get kills but in MOHAA it takes more skill to get a kill.
Fun: Call of duty: 8 MOHAA: 9
Overall this is the top stat because you can go through cod single player and die alot which makes it more frustrating. but I have played both a ridiculous amount of time about 400 hours on mohaa and 250 on cod so they are both very addictive.
But overall if you looking for intense single player get CoD but if you're looking for great multiplayer and pretty intense single player get MOHAA. Heck get both.
One of the best FPSs of all time

A word of caution: If you're coming from games like Halo of other "run-like-a-headless-chicken" shooters, this game may not be for you. To be sure, Halo was a work of art, but MOHAA raises the bar to an insanely high level.
Gameplay 4.5/5
I, for one, was suprised about MOHAA's rather covert-based feel to most the levels. Not that it doesn't have a lot of action, because it most certainly does. The Omaha Beach mission that had everyone drooling will also keep fans of Saving Private Ryan happy for the rest of their lives. The only real flaw here, is that the game was rather frusterating at times, but it's well worth the challenge. The AI is also realistic, but has a few moments where it doesn't exactly shine, like trying to take on my tiger tank with a submachine gun, or an unsuspecting guard totally disregard firing a shot an inch from his head.
Graphics 4/5
Very pretty. The detailed weapons, characters, and cool artillery explosions are great, so you better have a helluva system. The only problem is a few minor graphical glitches, such as a weapon from a fallen foe being stuck on a wall, slowly rotating in a circle. Also, the tank shell explosions seem amazingly small when it hits the ground, but is magnificent when you blow apart a building.
Sound 5/5
This is where the game truly stands out. Excellent soundtrack, realistic gunfire, the sounds of incoming artillery, and great voice acting seperate this from anything else you've ever heard. Try playing Omaha Beach with the speakers turned up.
Multiplayer 4.5/5
Ignore the description of it being "average". If you can stand the occasional spawn killing, rocket wielding, and that one bad map (Southern France), multiplayer is worth it.
My advice? Buy it.. Plus, the expansion's being released soon!

This game has to be the best game for 2002. I bought it when it came out and I was so glad I did. It has a viraty of weapons and vehicles. Also you can pick up enemy mounted guns and waist tons of nazi guys away. I think every one should buy this game!

This is the only Medal of Honor game I have bought and I have to admit, I was amazed at the perfromance of this game. The graphics are very detailed and realistic. The sound quality is great and really immerses you in the situation. The game will have you hooked for hours playing the intense Single Player mode where you defeat the Germans at many locations. Online multiplayer is another + to the whole game, play with up to 64 over the internet or LAN and relive your favorite levels again. 56K owners: this game is a bit laggy online at times, but usually you should have no problem. Drive in Trucks, Tanks, Jeeps, and on foot (most of the time). Each side has different weapons: Including grenades, pistols, rifles, sniper rifles, sub-machine guns, machine guns, rocket launchers, and shotguns. Recommended to all because there is no blood or gore. Happy Gaming.

Going up Omaha Beach was an experience I'll NEVER forget. I went to bed a little shaky after I died the third time. It is easily the greatest level of any game ever created thus far.
Both single and multi offer an amazing experience. Loads and oodles of replay value.
