Classic WW2 Theme FPS

This game is a lot of fun and I honesty can't think of any other game that makes you feel like you are IN a war. The D-Day level will send shivers down your spine and have you ducking imaginary bullets and mortar shells all day. WARNING: "Sniper Town" is a very tough level. I almost gave up on the game when I got to that point. It really makes you wish you had eyes in the back of your head. You'll see what I mean.

For Nazi killin' fun, MODAA is the best of the bunch.

More than a shoot-em-up

I am a big fan of FPS games but Allied Assault goes beyond shooting at everything you see. In all missions, there is some degree of strategy and planning required to complete the assignmet. The graphics are great and the assortment of weapons is perfect for the game. They are all WWII vintage, adding to the realism of the game. I also like the seemingly unlimited quicksaves. Overall, this is one the best action games I have seen in a long time. Very realistic and not overly violent or gory considering the subject matter. I hope EA will release expansion packs for this game. Great job.

The best

Quite simply the best shooter game I have ever played. This is the only one I keep going back and playing over and over again. I can't wait to see what the add-on packages are going to be. If you like 1st person shooters, you NEED this game.

I have been very happy with this game. I am a Vietnam War Veteran and don't normally buy any of these type games but it has been a tension reducer for me. I am following up by purchasing MOH Pacific Invasion.

Yet another great game for the series.

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault is arguably the best first person shooter game for the PC. It's two predecessors, Medal of Honor and Medal of Honor: Underground don't even compare with the gameplay, texture, or graphics that the computer enhances. Allied Assault brings a whole new array of weapons into play. You can control more artillery, and a wide variety of authentic WW2 weapons to help defeat the Nazi war machine. You also get to take place in biggest operation ever: Operation Overlord, a.k.a D-Day. With a lot of help from your allies, the Nazis don't stand a chance of defeating you.
The only minor annoyance that I know of is that the enemy is such a good shot. And I'm sure those who have played the sniper level will agree with me.
Bottom Line: Medal of Honor does it again

Lots of fun

This was my first first-person-shooter (FPS) game. The graphics are excellent (even with my 16MB Nvidia card) and the sound is really good. The intermission parts were really cool. The game is highly configurable and the controls are easy to use. The screen is not cluttered with unnecessary sub-screen and indicators. I highly recommend this game.

A Definite Classic

Basically, I love it. Not that I'm the "I'm going to forego the rest of my (natural) life and play it constantly" type; I just enjoyed it immensely. The only drawback I found to the game (which was corrected in the expansion pack, Spearhead) was that one could not hit an enemy at close range, save for with a pistol. I found the attention to details rather refreshing from similar attempts which didn't quite cut it. The only unrealistic thing about it is the character's ability to carry more weapons and ammo. than practicaly realistic. Aside from these couple of notes, it's well worth a try.

Incredible game & graphics

This is the most fun first person shooter out there. The graphics are incredible and the multiplayer is better than Half-Life. The missions are tough, but still fun. You do everything from fight on D-Day to driving a King Tiger Tank through occupied france to sabatoging the Nazi radar prototype. If you are looking for a game like Half-Life that has a great single player and better multiplayer, get Medal of Honor!

Great fun for all!

This game is incredibly fun and the graphics are amazing. You will need a new and beefy PC to run it (2.4 Ghz, very high end graphics card) but still, its great fun to sneak up on a german officer and pistol whip him in the head or sneak into a Nazi base and blow up a U-Boat. EA decided to get a "Teen" rating on this game, so I guess thats why they didn't add any blood, but there are PLENTY of cool patches out there that can fix this.

Pros:
-Incredible realistic graphics
-Incredible sound
-Very good multiplayer with varying mission types
-Very fun multiplayer (if you have a speedy connection)
-Hillarious easter eggs

Cons:
-The Nazi AI is so-so.
-AI has more abilities than you: You cant go prone, you can't lean around corners (in the single player), and you can't smack anyone you want with any gun, but the Nazis can.
-No knife (just one of those things. There is a pistol whip instead of a knife though)

great game

what is this about the game being too hard. you must be horrible at video games because i beat it without a ton of trouble. there is an awesome level where you actually get to drive a tank. this game is very realistic. a must have for any computer gamer. graphics and gameplay are amazing
