it' s a good game, gives you lots of fun if you're a WWII enthousiast. It has great sound effects and is very stable if you run it on an average speed computer and video card.
too bad you only have the chance to play on the german side when you're playing online.
Is there any game where you can play the wehrmacht?
anyway I haven't got to the end yet and it keeps me busy when I have the time. really worth the price

Both of these games take place in the WWII time frame. RTCW is about kicking Nazi's rear end in like in the first two games in this series. MOHAA is about the truely about WWII. I like both games. MOHAA is tougher then RTCW with snipers in every mission. The enemies are stronger in MOH. It really depends on what you in to. If you like multiplayer games, and/or kicking Nazi's rear end then get RTCW. If you want to find out how WWII was really like, or close to it, and looking for a challenge then get MOHAA.
Great game (but there always is a BUT)

Wow. Really, a great game. The graphics are good, but even at 800x600 with medium details the SP game starts to slow down, at least it does on my computer: P3 866 with 128 sdram and an nVidia TNT 2 m-64. But with a P4, same or higher ram, and a Geforce 2 GTS or better, this game should be smooth. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars: the HARD difficulty. On the easy skill setting, you should be able to get through the game in about 28-32 hours. But bump up to Medium and your looking at probably 34+ hours. And on Hard, well, forget it. Unless you are an avid FPS player, you will probably need about 56+ hours to complete it. As probably everyone else is saying, the Omaha Beach map is SWEET. The multiplayer version is sort of a let down, as the spawn points can start past the fence, and two of the MG42s from the SP game were removed. (a good thing? possibly)
This game has an enormus amount of web community, so explore the web and find whatever you need for the game.
Speaking of Multiplayer, get into small (4-12 players)games and get your teammates to work with you or for you and you will suddenly find that the homework you were planning on doing will have to wait for study hall that morning.......
Worth the price

Medal of Honor was the best first person shooter on any console ever when it first came out, screw Goldeneye, Medal of Honor was tons better. I was eagerly awaiting the first PC release. I must admit it is a tad disappointing. There's no blood, that's bad, that's actually intolerable. ... Now all I get is him falling over, bah. But in all it's fun. The D-Day mission is great, a true classic. The rest of the game has some pretty spectacular set-pieces. Although, the combat just seems to be one man vs. all, which isn't good. I want to feel like I'm part of the Allied force, not the Allied force itself. But it's entertaining from start to finish, and the graphics are... good. The multiplayer has been unfairly maligned, but I was never a counterstrike fan anyway, so what do I know. Give it a whirl.
Great game with very good AI

Surely this game is not Rainbow Six or its many successors in that you do not pre-plan. There is no real strategy other than to shoot your way to the objective. But for a WWII sim, this game has no equal. This is hardly an arcade game. The graphics are great and the AI is tough to fight against. Sure, in the easy mode you can take a lot of hits and there are lots of health kits for you to restore your health. In the difficult mode you had better get ready. If you get in the sights of a machine gun nest or a sniper, you are history and there is little in the way of health kits. The AI has people duck and cover. They will stick just their weapons around the corner and fire without exposing themselves. To some extent they will advance on you but you have to hit a game trip to activate the response. The weapons seem to be modeled very well and with the screen movement added, you get the feel you are behind a real weapon. I did not like the fact that you cannot control your squad even if it was just with basic commands such as advance or cover. Some times they will charge ahead and get in the line or fire, which may be somewhat real but it sure is a pain. It would have been nice to hold them back at times. It would also be good if you could have the ability to be prone. The game gives you a crouch mode but you cannot lie flat at least not in the demo. The enemy sure has this feature and and will sometimes hit the deck to engage you, making for a difficult target. BOTTOM LINE-This game has the feel and look of being in a real firefight with great graphics, sound and plenty of enemy to engage. If this is what you are looking for, MOHAA is the game for you. If you are looking for a strategy game with lots of planning and ability to control stealth or SWAT like movements, stick with Rouge Spear and SWAT 3 (but go to a friend's house and see what you are missing).

They say there will never be a game to make everyone happy..... that is true but this WWII sim has got to come close! This is by far the best 1st Person Shooter out to date. Graphics that make you duck for cover behind your monitor, explosions that will lift you out of your chair! WOW!! Single Player mode has a fantastic storyline and when completed it makes you want to play again and again. The computer and ally AI is state of the art. Your enemy actually makes use of its surroundings, When replayed the enemy will not behave the same way over and over, it tries to adapt to each scenerio! Too bad I can only give 5 stars, This is one Great title! Stop Reading and start buying soldier!

All I play are first person shooters, and for the last two years they have all basically played the same - run and gun, duck, run and gun. I have RTCW and was fairly bored throughout. I downloaded the demo for this game and played it over and over and put RTCW back on the shelf. I just got the full version and to say I am impressed is an understatement. No endless running around inside castles - the variety inside this game in just the first few levels is truly awesome. Every FPS compares itself to Half-life. This game (so far at least) appears even better! Hard to describe - JUST TRUST ME AND BUY IT!. (if you like FPS that is....) Stunning graphics, and the sound is amazing. But most of all it has great game play. Great eye candy alone doesn't make a great game - but combine that with great game play, and you have a winner. This game will be the benchmark to compare other FPS to.

The game is absolutely far superior to Metal Gear Solid. This is a game that have not competition en what first person view refers. The graphics are very realistic, the sound and the background music makes the player think about how our great grandfathers fought that war in second world war against the germans. The game is excellent. I have played the previous two other Medal of Honor but with the new Sonyplaystation 2 the game is by far more superior than previous games.
the best wwII game i'd ever seen
