This game is extrordinary! The AI are smart and take cover and wait for you to pass by so they can ambush you. The Graphics are awesome and it's pretty historically accurate. The ratings on Gamespot and Gamespy are 9.0 and 92%. The D-Day map is fantastic and you can play it on multiplayer co-op! There are 18 missions that made me play for several hours 'till I finished Omaha Beach.

Medal of Honor shows some of the most realistic gameplay ever. The D-Day invasion at Omaha Beach is simply frightening. But there's one problem: the game has a TEEN rating, and a MATURE is what's really needed to depict the true horror and hell of war. The TEEN rating is my only complaint. However, know that the makers of this game push the TEEN rating as far as they can. In many sequences, I almost was amazed at how close they came to getting a MATURE rating. Anyway, it's a great game and very exciting with the exception of that one fault.

If you are interested in historical games then get it now! It would be nice if the game would be localised in more languages, therefore only 4 stars.

This is the game one longed for playing Quake. Like: 'what if they took this engine and did a WW2 first person shooter'

The graphics are awesome. The sound effects go even beyond that! Remember the opening sequence of Private Ryan? Yep. Even the chilling detail of bronze jacketed bullets entering flesh. And the AI is surprising. Enemy soldiers hide, dodge and crouch. And they have human aim, not Star Wars bot accuracy!

Bummers? Although it runs great at 800X600 on a P3 800, it will slide show at higher resolution. Your team is quite dumb, failing to take cover (eg: if you run and hide in a house, unless you run well into the living room, your pals will stand by the doorway and get pummeled), and they can't be cured, or given instructions. And there is no blood/guts/gore. Not even as an option. Blah.

Must have despite this. Great fun.

The game is an awesome First person Shooter. Multiplayer rulez all. I have had the game for a week and played multiplayer for at least 20 hours. I am addicted to this game. I might even need psychological help. Single player is also very fun. I tell more about single player but buying this game for multiplayer is worth it. However, single player still deserves praise.

On a scale from one to ten this game is an eleven. For one thing, this game is the most realistic game i have ever played (the people in the boats actually get seasick, their mouths move when they talk, and enemy strategies are so realistic) Another thing is that this game is long, and has a lot of levels. None of us like a game that you beat after a day. Even when you beat the game, you can try it on different difficulties. One of the other good things about this game is that you can play it on the internet, internet games are the best because there are always new missions to try(you can always beat single player, but there is no end to multiplayer missions). If you want a realistic first person shooter that will keep you busy for a long time, then this game is highly recomended.

I have just purchased this game and i am so glad. The gameplay is great from the start, even the training part of the game is really cool. The gameplay is very smooth and very fun. IT is a very thrilling game and quite challenging in hard mode. Any wargame enthusiast would like this game a lot. The guns are great and the gameplay is somewhat like counter strike. IT is very fun. The story can't get any better either. IT is world war two. There are sniper missions and car missions. It is an all around fun and thrilling game. I recommend anyone that likes action or shooting games to buy this as soon as you can. This is the best game I have ever played by far!

Don't get me wrong, at times this is one of, if not the best, FPS games available. That's why I gave it 4 stars. But there are 2 nagging problems. First, having a surround sound speaker setup is almost a requirement. Without surround sound there are areas where you will be fired on and have absolutely no idea of where the fire is coming from. No muzzle flash, no report except for the bullet hitting you,no ricochet. Nothing except for you taking damage and wondering where it came from. And the worst part is that these guys don't miss. Ever. If the real Nazis were this good we'd all be speaking German.

Then there's the damage modeling. Granted you can take quite a few hits before dieing, but 5 point blank rounds to the chest of your enemy should be sufficient, right? Nope. Heck, I put 4 shotgun rounds in a German Shepard's head and he still killed me with one bite.

Even with these problems this is still a great game. And personally, I like the multiplayer. It reminds me of Day of Defeat with better graphics. Anyway, I have to go back and snipe every one of those Nazi bastards who tried to kill me. Happy hunting.
