This game is basicly perfect. The graphics are sweet. The nitrous in the beggining stinks but the level 2 nitrous makes a huge difference. The races are not like the Midnight club games when either you are winning or you are not even close, in this game it is more realistic because you are always really close to your opponents. The cars are customizable in every way. You start off with a basic model and you upgrade until your car is nearly perfect(neon,vinal,rims,decals and every way you will ever think of). Don't get mad because there is only like 5 cars in the beggining, because you earn the cars fast. The soundtrack is like, 7/10 because, it has too much rock and there needs more Nate Dogg and Lil' Jon. All in all, this game is really worth it.

This is the best racing game! You get a pretty good car and as you prgress you get better cars like the Nissan 350Z, Mazda RX-7, and the Nissan Skyline. When you first start off and you customize your car to your liking. You choose ffrom the color of your car to the color of your window tints and mufflers. Anyone looking into this gam should definately buy it, trust me I had it for 4 days and i got 87/111 races done, and its not easy as you get to the higher levels like 70 and above even when youput the dificulty on easy but you will eventually master it. This game is great. The graphics are great on xbox and its worth the money.

While waiting for Gran Turismo 4, I needed a good racing game to satisy my thirst for speed. This game was a 32oz big gulp. The graphics are spectacular. Speeding through the city past slow moving traffic is quite a rush in this game. Many of the courses are very well designed and the little shortcuts you can use are arranged nicely. What really sets this game apart is the cars. You can do thousands of things to make them look your own. Paint jobs, vinyls, decals, neon, bumpers, headlights and many other customizations make those stock cars look like animals. I'm not to big a fan of these custom jobbies, but I love tweaking my cars in this game. You get style points based on how "cool" your car looks and performs. The Nitrous button is a great addition. Give the button little tap to boost you past that pesky Eclipse. The racing modes (drag, drift, sprint, circuit) are all great in their own right, but mastering drift racing will garner you mucho style points. Another great addition is the magazine covers. Perform well in a race and you can see your ride on the cover of some real mags. It's also neat to see that old car you had compared to your new monster. All in all this game has me addicted. It's more arcadey than GT3, but that's fine with me. It will sit right next to GT3 (and 4) on the shelf.

NFS has a new addition to a great series I'll give you the race types and descriptions

circuit: race laps in a circuit
sprint: race from point to point
drag: straitaway and really really fast nail those shifts and use you Nos at the right time and you can reach 230 mph with a upgraded car
drift: slide with style and stick your tail feather out for some big points

This game has unbelievable graphics and gameplay and I give 4 1/2 over 5

If I were to change this game to make it a 5 star I would let you drive seeing your hands and windshield and when you shift your hand goes down and when you use Nos it does a slow motion you look down see your finger click the Nos button and then the camera angle goes back up to the windshield and it exits slow motion and the screen blurs and before a race it showed people showing off there stereos girls checking out the hardware in all the cars and then the starting race chick walks up and the race starts and I would have no traffic but more realalistic damage
