Characters Too Dark/Lights are Dark

Somehow, I like racing games and I was hoping that this game will go over the line. And it's okay with cars and designing your own cars and then racing against other cars. Although, the racing sometimes get boring because you're racing in different races. That part is cool, but I hate the people because they look scary and dark in the background. The arrows are dark enough that you can run into them. The 3 goes on both because the background is dark as if you can't see no one standing beside your car or they are ghosts, but can't see them.

never play this game!

i played this game with my 3 year old cousin and he loved it, but when it was my turn to play i thouht it was ok. But then i played it again and i didnt like it! So inless you are 3 to 9 years old, or abbssesed with race car games you will not like this game.

I think that this game is cool because you can get real cars and fix them up big time.But it can be boring if you dont know what to do.All and all it is agood game.

I loved this game once i saw it, Graphics are like out of this world and the cars, theirs so many cars, make your own, design it put bumpers and side skirts, its by far the best game of the year. I recomend it for all car fans, even if you don't like racing, you will after you play this Game.

Just when I thought EA would wise up they created NFSU. Apparently they no longer wish to create actual racing sims, only a new buying base in the younger generation that actually think there are street legal Honda Civics that can go 200 mph on city streets in the dead of night. I thought the intro was funny having a racer from the "Toyota" Atlantic racing series sitting in a Nissan 350Z. Maybe that's just me. :D

The driving physics of the game are somewhat improved over it's predecessor, NFS Hot Pursuit 2, in which you can actually steer the vehicle you are driving. The AI, as in the other NFS episodes, sucks. In one race I saw a computer opponent catch up to me from a 7 second deficit in less than 1/2 a lap, while on the other hand I couldn't even shave 1 second off the cpu's lead by driving 3 perfect laps (no brakes, no errors, no way in hell).

With NFSU online play takes a new twist by allowing owners of the Sony Playstation 2 to compete with PC owners over the internet. Since the PS2 is limited in capability, so is the number of multiplayer competitors (only 4 a race instead of 8 with other NFS versions for PC only). As much as one would think PC players would have an advantage, think again. During online play, most PS2 connections were so poor that their vehicle would pop in & out of gameplay and made it difficult for others (those PC owners with proper connections) to focus on the race. EA Technical Support was no help in this issue. If I remember correctly the answer to my question was, "I believe he just used Nitrous". When using Nitrous Oxide starts to interrupt the space/time continuum, I'll stop playing racing sims.

Once again EA has taken what was once a fun and challenging and almost realistic simulation and made a Playstation 2 game out of it. If you are a mouth breather that likes to pump endless amounts of money into a car that's obviously not worth it (and definitely not made for it), then this is the game for you. If you are the avid racing simulator fan, save your money and check out Racing legends when it debuts (hopefully soon, and not in CompUSA, BestBuy, or on this website).

Great Game!! customize your car by winning races and doing tournaments. paint your car, get neon, nos, designs, and a lot of other cool stuff. it gets harder and harder when play. you can also get in magazines and has great graphics.

NEED4SPEED UNDERGROUND is the best game u should get it has nos and da madest bodykits and oether stuff on here u should get it.
