Way Too Violent...

Of course it has now turned the M rated game into A for Adult for specific reasons. Shooting innoncent people for no reason...doing missions like having sex with girls...hijacking cars...killing and killing over and over. Okay, so you pretty much get my idea of all of the violence. But what most of you want to know is the gameplay. It does have many glitches and although driving in a car can be...fun, all of the gameplay is boring, and not good at all. Want something good to teach your kids...what about E rated games like Kingdom Hearts or Katamari Damacy. But oh my gosh, stay away from this game. Waste you own money and time if you have the guts too.

Finally GTA has come back to SAN ANDREAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now all of you know that this game is going to be great, just like the past two gta's. I just dont hope that they mess up the gameplay and make it like true crime, and i hope its set in the 90's or today either would be great. ive heard that you will be able to swim in this one i hope so cause if you could of on vice city it would of helped out a whole lot and i also heard that you'll have a way bigger selection of cars and weapons to choose from. i only got one more thing to say and that is GTA is back finally if i were you i would go and reserve your copy of this game game Its going to be awesome.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this game is going to have so many new features to what i have heard. it will be like vice city in that you can have different ways to win. also like most have heard it is true that you can swim. the guns are also going to be new with more buildings and people to talk with. the gangs are going to be different and there is going to be two islands to go to agian.

I love Vice City, it is so awesome so when I heard that they were coming out with San Andreas I was so excited, I brought it home and started playing. Within 5 min. I was horrified to hear the constant use of the "F" word and "M.F." word, which are F_cker and Mother F_cker. He said it all the time, even just fighting with someone on the streets or hijacking a car, he has a limited vocabulary, never went to school I guess. They gave it the same rating as Vice City, "Strong Language", strong language my butt, it is 20x worse than Vice City! Almost every other word was one of those.
Maybe gangsters really do say those words a lot, but the game does not have to glorify such vulgar language, it just proves how stupid they must be if they can't find better words to use. I wish they would have kept Tommy as the star of the game, he is awesome and he never swore so bad like C.J., I'm so mad, they took what could have been an awesome game and ruined it. If they feel that those words are necessary to use then they need to have a censor option for those people who have morals and decency, so we can bleep them out.
Even the rap songs which were almost all the stations had those filthy words in them. So I guess if your not bothered by hearing the gangsters say F_cker and Mother F_cker then this game is for you, but those with morals and decency you might want to steer clear of this game. And people who use those words so loosely like C.J. can go F_ck their Mothers because they are just f_ckers, because that is what it means
when those words are used.
When C.J. is not using that language it is a very fun game but because of the use of those words and how often they are used I gave it 1 star.

Ok, let me start saying about the violence, if you are suicidal, or some kind of sick maniac or insane, dont play this game, because if you do, you will want to kill people.. But if you are a mature person (that doesnt mean above 18, it just means not being a crybaby)no matter if you are 10, or 20, you should like this game, and still dont want to rob cars and shoot people. About that kid who raped his sister, he was probably some sick, suicidal insane disturbed kid, who watching this, was dumb enought to think it was telling him to rape his sister. But again i say, if you are normal, you wont do anything, just have a fun gaming experience. People always try t o blame crimes on music, games and movies, they say if you play GTA you will go crazy, but listen, people go to the church and go crazy. Count how many people have killed other people FOR THE CHURCH and count how many people have killed people for GTA? Well none, there was that kid who raped his sister, but like i said, he was mentaly disturbed. There was even a little kid who killed his mom because of a mario game! That is the living proof that those people who kill people because of video games were distubed before the game. I think anybody that is normal will enjoy this game...
Without the violence this game would be nothing, if you dont like violence, buy animal crossing (a great game). But if you like it, just play this one because this is your gold mine.
Graphics are fine for the ps2...
The story is AMAZING with unbelivable well written and real characters!!
I dont think this game should offend black people... Actualy, i dont even see a reason it would offend black people. This game isnt reality, you shouldnt be offended by something that is not real. This is entertainment.
The gameplay is very good, and the size of the game is HUGE! Its bigger then most cities on the real world!
Anyway, this game will be very good if you are not a little baby that hates violence and sex..

This is not a kids game. Even before the switch in ESRA rating to AO - Adults Only, the game had a rating of M-17. Seven or eight year olds have as much business playing this game as they do being in a bar or other places for entertainment geared for adults. Parents that let their children or even young teens are failing their responsibilities.

That said ... I haven't played this version of the game yet (been in Iraq), but GTA:III was fun. If they kept the same engine and game play, I'm sure this will be just as fun

Getting old

I got this because I loved the previous games. Unfortunately this one is just getting old. The missions for the most part are all rehashes from the previous versions. The good part is that you can drive to different cities without reloading. Other than that this game is somewhat of a waste. It is also lacking the humor that the earlier games had. The signs around town are all too realistic and the radio lost its funny bone. Sure, now you can go to the gym and get pumped up (not that it's difficult) and you have to pay to eat but these elements don't do anything for the overall enjoyment of the game. I wish I would have waited for it to drop in price instead of getting it right away.

this game is simply amzaing. i have spent hours (more than i care to admit) playing this game and am blown away by the attention to detail Rockstar Games put into creating it! granted, the cheats are a must and for sure they are what assisted me in getting to the 95% game completion level. without them it is laborious task to attempt to play, but still fun. there is just so much to do and so many places to explore, even outside of all the missions. and then there are the side missions. and then there are the side-side missions. it just goes on and on and on. great game, no glitches expirienced and highly recommended!

the language is slightly over the top; this is NOT a kids game by any streatch of the imagination. the graphics are top-notch with a few areas that could be improved but it does not detract from game play. buy this game!!!

it's easy for people to look at this game and read the book by its cover. the truth is that it's very unpolished. The person who designed the flight mechanics in this game should probably be fired and never allowed to touch a computer again.

this game is gonna be cool you can steal airplanes what sucks is that you can only stay in the 3 cities with the plane . cities are las vegas, san antos, and some other place i forgot. you can now rob houses finally. go into almost every building. steal bikes, skate boards,tons of cool cars bikes. i mean like the bikes kids ride but regular bikes. and motor bikes. scooters. helicopters. every car you can think of. tons of cool guns. i not sure but you can when you see kids riding their bikes you can knock them off and ride em. see cats and dogs. you can eat. you can go lose weight at a gym if you eat too much. have a ton of people in one car. look at the pictures of this game you'll see. do cool missions. i think this is a lie, somebody told me you can get drunk. we'll see . that would be cool... when this game comes out 10-19-04 i'm buying it the first day it come out. this game is probably gonna blow driver 3 away. i'm buying that a week from monday. driver 3 and san andredeas are gonna be cool. but san andredeas is gonna be cooler. can't wait baby 5 more months. oh hell yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
