I wonder what's next

This isn't usually the type of review I do very good at but I'll try anyway. But after playing "III" and "Vice City", I was wondering what was next. Whereas some of it isn't written to be better, this one is perhaps the best yet, as it is the most realistic of them all. There are many areas of the place, beginning at Los Santos which is kind of a ghetto. It's also where you get to do bicycle riding, something previously undone. Many other things are capabilities and seem more realistic than the last time. The missions are not quite what they were on "Vice City" but nothing comes close to matching those (as you know, this time around it's in the west coast, with more low riders, blah blah blah). Some characters reappear from "III" on this one, but it is cool for most part that you get to swim back on to the land in this time. There is a factor of muscle/fat, etc. etc., so that's another thing to try to get good enough before possibly drowning. I also like how the missions are what opens up more of the availability in there. But when you complete them you're in it for more and more fun until you find yourself sick of playing this. Like how you can go to that casino and play all those games is just tons of fun and warrants that rating I gave it, which otherwise would have been a star lower. Besides, every radio station on there is wonderful. I would talk about that except that it would be off-topic. The flying is a bit of a challenge to learn but also a lot of fun to do. As a whole I think that it is more of a great buy than anything else.

Hate GTA:SA or love it> Your pick.

I beat the game in one month, not playing everyday, but i love the game. People can argue about the graphics, which are fine, the violence, its rated "M" shut up about all the arguing about te damn violence. Thats why the game was made: to be violent, fun, and make a lot of money and set another standard for Rock Star Games. Play the game, dont play, I dont care but if you do play it, theres a chance that you might actually like it. Everyone love it or hate it> ITS JUST A F***** VIDEO GAME!!!!!

Epic Title

May be the greatest video game ever produced. However, this game is either a "love it or hate it" title. If you are easily offended by gang violence, police bashing, etc., then this title is not for you. Certainly, this game is only meant for adults.

Graphics: Not the greatest, but the game is epic and the environments are huge. Therefore, a PS2 game is going to take a hit somewhere when a game is this large.

Gameplay: Thankfully, gameplay is pretty good. There are some mechanics like "flying" where I agree with some other reviewers below that the designers could have refined some of those functionalities. However, flying does improve the further you go in the game and with the higher end planes you get to fly. Also, driving cars, buses, motorcycles, bicycles, trucks, helicopters, and more is just too fun and the mechanics for said vehicles are excellent.

Sound: Simply, great. There are great tunes in muliple styles from the 90s. Also, voice-acting, environmental sounds, etc. are second to none.

Story: Not the greatest story ever told, but it fulfills it's purpose and fits in nicely with the entire package.

Overall: There are so many things to do in this game that it is mind boggling. There are very few games that come close to the production values and scale of this title, i.e Metal Gear Solid 3:Subsistence and Ninja Gaiden Black for XBOX are the only titles in the same league with this.

what can i say that hasn't been said, the realism is shockingly disturbing, brutal and obsene; just like it would be in south central LA. (the take on the crack problem was absolutly beautiful, then glorifying robbing and killing was absolutly disgusting, thanks rockstar, only u were bold enough to do a game this good!) voice acting is surperb, the story is so real and compelling that it draws u so deep in to the game that u don't notice that the graghics aren't that great (they are very good, just not great).
the game play is devilish good and wicked by nature (i really did like killing the homies). u get to do all these things that we here hear about and dispise on the news channels, only thing is, the character u play, gets away with doing all of these low-down dirty crimes without being killed (well, u can get killed, but u don't stay dead very long, i don't know if u can get caught or not, i live and die by the sword!) i like that u have to monitor your muscle mass (by lifting weights at the local gym; i got buffed in under an hour, i wish i could do that in real life!), fat intake (chowing down the junk food at restaurants like taco smell!), sex appeal, wardrobe, some others thing as well... very cool. this game is very very fun to play, but the moral standards are very very low, in saying that,it does have a mature rating, so keep the kiddies away!
it is like vice city in many ways, but one difference is that u can ride (pedal) bikes, the cars are basicly the same, except u can add hydraulics, nitro, bumper, etc..., but basicly they look and handle the same as in vice city. this game is so realistic that am glad i'm not a negro from the south side.
ps. i like pucking the prositutes, just one of the many guiltless pleasures...SWEET

My favorite game is Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, you get to shoot people and you don't run out of bullets. You can customize a car, basically do anything to it. The only thing you have to watch is the police and the other gang members because they will put a bullet in you. It has alot of missions but they're easy because I know all the codes to the game. On a scale from 1 to 5 I give this game a 5. I liked everything about it. The best thing about it is you're just free to roam around the city and do any illegal thing you want to.

The Best Game Ever

This is actually the second time I've bought this game, my brother had the other copy I played and he sold it some time ago.

What can I say, this game is amazing. Immensely huge world to explore, free roam, and you can do just about anything you want. Tons of vehicles, planes and boats to mess around with. Plus you can actually swim in this one!

The graphics on this game are part of what really sold it for me. The landscapes look great, and I really do love the fact that the time changes, the sun goes down and comes back up (the morning twilight is beautiful on the game).

However, some of the missions can be really frustrating. I've had times where I've done the same mission 5 times or more and just can't beat the thing. Sometimes it seems odd because you'll go from a ridiculously hard mission, to a ridiculously easy one, and then back to ridiculously hard.

Also, if you want to go from one side of the map to the other, it takes a looong time if you can't get access to a plane or jet.

It takes you a good long while to beat the game, especially if you do all the side missions. But after beating it, there's not a ton of replayability unless you want to just go around and shoot people, or other such things.

Overall I give it two thumbs up, and it will give you MANY hours of fun playing.
