i don't own the game myself because it was gift for someone. But i've seen friends play and it's an intriguing game.

Awesome game the only thing that could make it better would be a sequil.

Well, the game is good, very good, but i finished this game in 6 days, well, i cannot say that i played it like gran turismo 3 (the game that i used to play on vacation time when i woke up till 12 pm and from 5 pm to 11 pm everyday for more than a month, and i cannot say that i played like tony hawk underground 1 that i played for 2 weeks everyday without rest. Well, as i was saying i finished this game in 6 days, after a long day of work, like from 9 pm to 11:30 pm, i played also the saturday a lot, but just saturday, well, i cannot think and i cannot avoid saying that if i played this as a game has to be played (as the examples a wrote earlier) well i think i can say 3 days.

Well, the game is epic, everything is huge, the graphics are astonishing, the bosses are incredibly good detailed, the enemies are good and well, the "sex scene" in my opinion could'veee been deleted from the game 'cause it has nothing to do with the story or the game, but well, it's on the game so whatever...

I'm happy that i bought this game for a little less than 20 bucks, i cannot think of paying 50 or 60 bucks for a game that you can finish in 6 days, but the game was good but it's been gone in a bliss.

I can think of a better game than this, in my humble opinion, is Shadow of the Colossus, it's a little more challenging and a better game, i can say it again it's my opinion.

For those who're die hard fans of god of war i have to say that i played the game in normal mode, maybe i had to play in hard to see a little more life for this game, but well, i also played tony hawk underground 2 in normal mode and it lasted a month, and i still play it on the internet.

Well, this game is an instant classic but it's also short. You've gotta have it in your library 'cause it's the game of the year (2005) and all that, but remember i've warned you about the flaw of this game that no one talks about.

P.S. I'll buy also the second part, when the price reaches below 20 bucks.

first off this game is pretty sweet, but one night as I was playing, krotos thru his blades, and they hit my dog. as it was dying, it screamed like a wookie, so if you want your dog in the graet above buy it. if you love your dog call me and we'll start a protest. CURCES YOU GODS OF ALAMPES.

Whoa man. Besides all the wierd and somewhat vulgar cinimatics this is the obvious best game ever. I popped it my ps2 and two minutes into the game i was like "duh" this is so cool. And it is. You play Kratos who wants to know about his past so he has to kill ares. i don't know if that's all cuz i haven't beaten it yet. but that's whati know. BUT I DO WARN ALL YOU PARENTS OUT THERE. DO NOT BY THIS GAME FOR YOUR KIDS. THERE ARE NO ELEMENTS IN THIS GAME THAT KIDS WOULD ENJOY (besides gameplay.) but the game is packed with blood and gore and nudity and overall awesomness.I LOVE THIS GAME.

What's more fun that one buffed up character going around slicing monsters. This game is fantastic!!!. This only negative thing I have is, it's short (approx 5 hours to beat the game). This is a definate game to aadd to your collection.

WARNING: THERE IS WAY TOO MUCH VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL THEMES IN THE GAME. PARENTS BEWARE.

I dont see what the hypes about , you go around killing people with a stupid flam thing and the games about 2 hours to beat , really let me down

this game is not only bloody and gory it has adult content such as two naked woman lying on kratos bed and you go up to them and you have you know what and its uncensored and the more you push the square the more exp you get its not for kids i tell ya but it is a fun game

Your saying what the hell that book has to do with this game?well my friend.Yes,I played the game.Beat it and all.But the more I played the more I wondered.Do the makers of this game care how any people are being brainwashed?.The greeks stole and plagirized nile valley concepts.These people were "black" Egyptians in Africa.Yes,egypt is in africa.But,any how.Games like this even as fun as it is; make greeks out to be so powerfull.Yet most greeks were known homos.Hey,look this stuff up cuse I could be a nut job with nothing better to do.In all reality KARTOS would have been getting it in his KARTOS.Greeks were right in one aspect, calling it mythology.Becuse the greeks being powerfull "GODS" is truly a MYTH!.PS I have nothing against homosexuals it's your life.Live it the way you choose.
