This game is so cool. I love that you can create your own character.

Pros: Creating your own character
Being able to play as the leader of each kingdom.
The battles are awsome
The weapons that you can give your character are awsome.
I love the new attack when you jump up in the air and smash into the ground.

Cons: You should be able to pick a voice for your created character
This one isn't really much of a con but,Lu Bu is still very hard but my created character's weapon is at full power and he's at the highest rank so I can beat Lu Bu easily. I already beat him about 5 times. This is not a game to rent. YOU MUST BUY IT!

This game rocks. I don't have it yet but from what I have seen and heard this game must be better than dw2 and dw3. I have dw2 and dw3 and loved them both. I live in the netherlands and looking forward to the game. I'm really a Zhou Yun fan. And he looks great in dynasty warriors 4. I think it's great that you can make your own bodyguards. You can also destroy more things.
Ohhh I really want this game you are crazy if you don't like this game.
But That's up to you.

This is one of the best games i've ever played. The graphics have improved so much since DW3. Also the three new characters are awsome. Buy this game it rules

This is the coolest game ever. Because in the game you get to make your own general and make a male our female. I am girl who is a Koei fun. Also there is a new character in Shu it is Yue Ying, she is a cool character. There is new stages and good grahpics in DW4. Thats why I rated it 5 stars.

I love this game because it keeps me busy for hours. It is fun and factual. It will keep you on your feet! There are many Dynasty Warriors games but I think this is the best out of them all! I encourage you to get this game. It has a lot of violence but it is too fun to worry about that.

It's like 3, but with better stuff!!

I just traded in part 3 for $$ and bought this one! It's great! They made a lot of improvements including:
Less lag!!
Not as many units pop out of nowhere
Weapons level up and automatically replace eachother
Items automatically replace eachother
You can rename your body guards
Duel mode allows you to duel in a 1 v 1 arena (but if you die, you lose the level)
"Magic" (Phantom Soldiers are invincible unless you disable the spell)
New Items types (Equip a saddle, an orb, and 1+ (depending on level) items as found in prev. Dyn. Warriors games).
A "Encylopedia" to check character info

Cons:
You cant just play a later level w/ a low level character to get their 3rd weapon (you have to level it up to get it)

If you liked the previous games, you will definately enjoy this one! It's definately worth selling your older version to get this great new installment to the improving series!

Dynasty Warriors 4 is the ultimate cooperative game for 2 players. I can't wait till I get the next one. Already got the money for it too.

This is the coolest game that I've ever played because you get to earn people up and highten their stats. You also get to raise their weapon's levels up! With cheats you get to get their tenth weapon! That is the most powerful weapon you can get for a person in this game! The weapons you can get are amazing! With 42 playable characters, the weapons they use range from mases, chinese fans, tonfas, swords, pikes, spears, flutes, chackrams, boomarangs, and bear claws. YOu get alot more weapons too! You get over fifty stages and secret stages on the groups Musou Mode. The levels you earn in Musou Mode are levels that you can play in Free Mode. This game has improved so much since DW3. Thank you Koei! This game is the best ever!

if you dont have this game, and are looking for a game to play when you get home from a bad day, this is it. i just love pounding lu bu to pulp, or taking on groups of 30 and killing them in a few swings. ive had this for months, and still havent stopped playing it. Their are only a couple things i dont like.

Pros:
Takes a while to complete, great time filler
Good graphics
Officer create option
extra levels (tales) you can only get certain ways
more characters
and many more...

Cons:
can only use ps2 controllers
health, map and musou bar disappear randomly
to easy

still, if u want to get rid of ur stress, just pick up your halberd and start frying people, i havent met a person who didnt like this game
