This game is one of the best dynasty warriors out there its twice as better than the 3rd.

It's a great game with heaps of fun and replay value though going through the same maps again and again does get a little dull, it's for someone who loves beat-em-ups or slash games.
My only problem mainly with it the sudden introduction of all these half naked chicks, including female generals, the captains and the nanman women, all disguistly barely clothed, while ALL the men ARE fully clothed. And I mean it. Koei is just trying -like every other company- to get a straight males attention while women weren't even allowed on the battlefield, so if this is so historical, why add them now? If it stayed with the sexy Bishonen like it should have this series would be alot better, maybe even if the boys got some half naked costumes but no. No chance at all.

though diao chan couldn't really fight she can kick some ...
yeah... zhao tze lung (a.k.a zhao yun) is my favorite he kicks total...with his combos. dynasty warriors 3 was good with the co-op and all., but 4 is soooo much better. i guess dey could've worked on the vs. mode in 3, but i dig. i love romance of the three kingdoms!! i've read all the books. I recommand them to you!! Maybe jus becuz i'm AZN but hey! Just watch out fer Lu Bu, noobiez

This is just a heads up for all the Dyansty Warriors fan out there. The Dynasty Warriors 4 game is NOT compatible with the PS1 Dual Shock Controller. So, if you are like me (using the PS1 Dual Shock controller for the 2nd player/extra controller) unfortunatly you will be in for a disappointment. I just got off the phone with a very nice Koei representative and he was able to confirm the compatibility status for me. This means you must have two PS2 Dual Shock Controller to play any 2 player modes. Another thing is that unlike Dynasty Warriors 3, you do not have the options to change language preferences. (between Japanese and English) The reason for this is due to adding more CGI cut-scenes in the game. Other than that ... this is an AWESOME game! More actions, more stages and simply just A LOT more FUN!!! =) Enjoy!

Everyone out there better get this game-it is the best strategical action game out there and you will probably play it for at least 6 months straight without getting bored.

I brought this game at the mall and it is the best fighting game I have ever played.The Good:50 stages,3 new characters,new one-on-one duels with enemy officers,awesome graphics,if you play with two people and if one person dies the other person continues,more cutscences in the battles,you can create your own officers and bodyguards,when you do mosou mode you can switch characters on the beginning before the battle starts,you can change your character's outfit up to 6 outfits,in the battles there are catapults,flame throwing tiger tanks,and more.There are new attacks for all the characters,all the characters are remodeled,brand new versus mode and challenge mode,new officers.The Bad:it is not four player,there are only three new characters.Overall,I like this game a lot.

It's the 4th title in the series, and it's more of the same. If you've never played a Dynasty Warriors game you will enjoy this, but for everyone else, it's gonna just be more of the same linear boring gameplay. You might like it, and you might not. Just depends on if you like mindless gameplay.

This is game is a very good fighting game!! Oh man will it keep you glued to the TV for at least 2 hours a day!! I myself have never played the Dynasty Warriors before this, but I know how good they are. This game kind of puts togather a RPG and an action game into one! KOEI really put their money where there mouth is, they have created one of the best games I have ever seen. One thing I really like about this game that most Action/RPG games have is that you get to pick what your character looks like! Very nice!! I give this game a 10/10 because it will keep you comming back for more!!

It is so amazing that my dog got into it too. Ok I'm just kidding, but it was amazing. My favorite character in DW-3 was Guan Yu. Now I can make my own charcter and name him/her whatever I want. I made a character named Tufaja(short skirt with a rapier sword). he only bad thing is that it is practically the same story as the last game.
