This game is really awesome. You are able to knock out body guards and annihilate officers and generals. The best part of the game is when you defeat the commanders. This game has very good graphics and has some intermission sequences showing what happens throughout the story. I recommend this game to anyone who likes fighting games.

A great game.Need I say more. Well yes I do. Fantastic graphics and game-play make this game one of my favourite games to play.The new Edit mode lets you create your own characters, and their weapons!Lots of new combos make this a bit more interesting, as you may find new ones half way through the game.

Awesome game...speachless, for those of you whow don't have this game... just buy it!
Comparing with DW3, DW4 missed left out some great things that I personally enjoyed.
- Title of each rank. ex: Rear General, Field General...etc
enstead of just having a number for the rank.
- Restriction of riding the horse depends on the rank.
- Few officers in DW3

other than these, it is a legendary game... looking forward to perchase the DW5

I am completely addicted to this game and I am much too old to be spending this much time playing video games but I can't help myself with this game. I have made it my mission to try to complete Musou modes with all the characters and MAX out the abilities of each. It will take forever, I know. The good thing is I have had this game for over a year and somehow I have not tired of it. Thanks Koei for making such a great game.

I got this game first, out of the Shin Sangoku Musou collection of games. I've spent nearly an entire year playing it (I could never get tired of playing this game). I like the beginning selection of characters, for, as soon as I began to play, I could use my favourite character (Liu Bei). Most of the level 10 weapons are possible to obtain, which pleases me, and you earn characters quickly.

The only real problem is the horses. They look fine, except if you get too close to them you can see through them, and the backs of their legs (the hocks in particular) are oddly shaped. I like it how Cao Cao's cape thingy does not go through the horse's rump anymore, that is an improvement.

The graphics are far better than in Dynasty Warriors 2 (plus your horses don't disappear as easily) and 3. I like the orbs, they make the game more interesting (especially if you've frozen someone with the ice orb) and the watch towers with enemy archers can now fall down (no more unseen assassins!)

Anyway, I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes the good old hack and slash games.

This game is awesome! The problem is that out of no where it turns into slow mo! What the heck! I am a huge koei video game fan but I would say this is one of there best creations! But another problem that I have is that there only four spots where your can save your creted character and you only get to chose the general stuff! Nice music though. Also the Wu ending! A shout out to any Wu family fans notice that Sun Jian sounds like a girl when he attacks! Plus, to all you Wei,Yuan Shou,Liu Bui fans we Wu family fan will whoop you in DW! Now what Cao Cao!

Finally. GOOD voice acting. The past few games I've been playing had terrible voice acting. They. Kept. Pausing. In. The. Middle. Of. Their. Sentances. Or. Went. Really. Fast. But anyways the game was so GOOD. Ah yes, I got so far... until I ran into LuBu in the fith mission. For you have played previous games you know, but he is so hard. This the Second one I played, I played XL3 first and this is so much easier. Did I mension that I got killed by LuBU at least 10 times before I won. New players, LuBu was the greatest warrior in that era and this game proves it. Now, in this one their are Nine weapons(the tenth one is special so you have to do special stuff, FOR EACH CHARACTER). I have unlocked all but 3 people. Now their are the standerd people and Kingdoms, Wu, WEi, and Shu. You can be any of the kingdoms. After doing certain requirements you unlock more characters than the starting three for each kingdom. I sugest Wei last cause you have to fight LUBU alot. Start with Wu, cause they're cool. Disadvantage-short weapons. Also, as you beat campaigns you unlock more, like Dong Zhuo, LuBu, Yuan Shao etc... The game was a little jumpy, my health bar and stuff kept disapearing. But overall it was a good game. I'm already about to buy XL4. Remember to tell your parents to let you buy it because IT HAS GOOD VOICE ACTING!

Dynasty Warriors 4, the latest in the KOEI's popular line, delivers spectacularly to new and experienced gamers alike. With better graphics and branching story line, the game satisfies. Some parts are very difficult for first-timers, such as Lu Bu at Hu Lao Gate, but otherwise this game coasts along, offering challenge that is difficult but not unbeatable.

This is the best game ever with 3 new characters and the other characters are all redone theres new seigh units and river layer things theres 50 or 48 new levels the graphics are about the same but i didnt want them to make them different theres a new scenario called kingdom mode its like mosau but you can pick a new guy from the same dynasty every level i think the best thing tough is that you can make a charater with different parts of all the other charaters
All in All this game is the bomb i am going to buy it right when it comes out which is MARCH 25

THe best series just got better!Dynasty warriors 4!!More feature then ever before .I don't want to give it all away. You have got to bought this.The graphics are great some of the best I've ever seen.If your going to buy any game buy this one.I can't wait to buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
