This game is the best FPS I have ever played in my life. If anyone on this whole site has given it less than four stars, they must have low coordination, and suck at life. I first played it over my friends house and became instantly hooked. Now I live, eat and sleep UT. I wish I didn't have to go to work, so I can stay home and play all day. Friday nights I play from 6 PM-6 AM, Saturday nights I play from 3-pm to 6 AM. Yes, I do play it straight. I wish I didn't have to eat or go to the bathroom because it takes away from time I could be fragging. I just bought the Nostromo n50 because I must be the best. When I am not playing UT, I am waiting impatiently to get back. All I need now is to be hooked up to an IV and a piss bag so I never have to leave the computer. This game is highly addictive, but at least I can say I'm not addicted. Well I have to go I've spent more than 5 minutes away from UT and I am becoming depressed.

I have played Quake for some time now. But ever since Unreal Tournament has come out, I have not even wasted precious space on my computer with that. Many people think that Unreal Tournament is a exact replica of Quake. I disagree. I think the developers of UT did a great job making a innovative game with amazing graphics. This game I think has the best graphics of any game (it's still with Half-Life, Max Payne, Red Faction, and Homeworld). UT has many modes of play and once you beat one, another is usually still waiting (not for me because i have completed every level besides one I HATE THAT ALIEN!). UT has so much potiential fun. It has a even better online game. I love playing online with other people. It is so much fun. I do suggest that you do have a broadband because it is nearly impossible to play with 56k modem (nothing will come out of your gun!). All in all, UT is a game for every gamer's collection and a game that true Quake fans should take a good, hard look at.

This game is so addictive! Missing sleep is something I don't like to do, but I find it hard to stop playing this game once I get started. I actually got "trackball thumb" from playing so many hours daily and had to see my doctor. That aside, I still continue playing the game, replaying the levels I have already trophied in. I highly recommend this game to anyone!!

Unreal tournament is a pretty awesome game. I have asked many people what they thought about this outstanding FPS PC sofware. Most of them said NICE! FASTPACED! and SLICK! I would have to agree. The single player mode is pretty cool, and many levels are extremely hard! However, like many others say, the single player matters about 40% of the game quality, but the other 60% comes from playing online. Online is the only REAl was to test skill and combat techniques against pther experienced players. Unreal Tournament has that ability. Choosing from over 20 weapons (including Chaos Unreal Tournament)all with secondary modes that will help you battle excrutiatingly realistic combatents. Also to consider though, is what you have for internet. Dial-up, Cable, L-1, T1-3, or what????? For most people they have Dial-Up, slow as anything!!! Others have cable, and internet is no problem. First for internet though is the fact the Game of The Year Edition includes the latest multiplayer patch (V. 436 I think) so that you don't have to have anything but the room on your machine and internet to experience the full multiplayer gameplay. Unlike HALF-LIFE: COUNTER STRIKE that requires a whopping 78.8 mb patch to be able to play online. (Not to mention Sierra doesn't even sponsor their own servers!!) Unreal Tournament is definately the FPS game to buy of all time!!

Unreal Tournament is an awesome first person shooter and not to miss for big fps fans. This is fps at its heart, to the core. The whole presetation is excellent from the graphics to the sound. Many maps and levels to choose from and many different scenarios too. Lots of classic weapons and body blowing upping. Online multiply is a blast. The game installs right to your hard drive so you don't need the disk to play after you've installed it. The game is only 10 to 15 dollars so why not buy it? Its a great game with great play mechanics and provides too much fun.

I went over to my friend's house because he told me that he had some new game to show me called "Unreal Tournament". I thought, ok, but there is no way that it can compete with Half-Life (the game we played constantly). When I got over the first thing that stunned me where the incredibly good graphics! There were no little blocks, it was all smooth! The background also stunned me because it is 3D not just a wall like in Half-Life. My friend and I played for 4 hours switching off every two deaths, both single and multiplayer.

If you love first person shooter games, I would recommend it, and even more if you like Half-Life.

Alright, I tried the demo, and couldnt get enough out of just those 4 or 5 levels. This game has TONS of levels and mods, and even more come when you get the update. Although there is not really a story line, it is still REALLY fun. The graphics are amazing, and there is alot of weapon stragagy involved (head shots with a razor blade gun...ever done that in quake?) Online, there are a few thousand servers to quench your killing needs. Have fun!

Unreal Tournament is a first person shooter, It is single player game with AI bots and great multiplayer game. UT has many types of games. 1. Deathmatch:- In which you must have the highest number of frags (kills). 2. Team deathmatch:- In which you and your team member must have the highest number of frags. 3. Capture the flag:- In which your team must enter the enemy area capture the flag by running through it and them carry it to your area and run trough your flag and then you get one point, You should also defend your flag at the same time, The team that gets the victory point first wins. 4. Assault:- In which your team must attack and defend a certain objective in limited time, Like destroy a certain item or enter a certain area. First your team must complete an objective while the enemy team defends it, Then your team must defend the same objective while the enemy team tries to complete it, If your team is given 5 min and it completed the mission in 3 minuits then the enemy team has only 3 min to do it. 5. Domination:- In which you and your team gets points for controlling the base by capturing the three central points. There would be three central points and running through them would make them your team colour and then you control the base and get points for it, If the enemy team member runs through them it will make them the enemy team colour and they control the base, You should defend that too. The team which reaches the victory point first wins the match. 6. Last man standing:- In which players have limited number of lives. 7. Challenge:- Standard deathmatch game which is enabled after you complete all levels in single player and if you complete it you become the champion. All map have a great training area. UT got a great multiplayer experiance in single player, Initially only a few games and maps are unlocked, But by going to start pratice game you could play all games and maps in the single player level.

Unreal Tournament uses the unreal engine but it looks and runs much better here. I play UT on the Direct3D video mode, There is also software rendering, 3dFx, S3 ect, OpenGL is also there but it is not very good. The graphics and sound are fantastic. The selection of weapons are also very good. You can make the game pace slow or fast. You can also include bots in multiplayer matches. There is also an unique game mode called mutator for these games, With that you can play with low gravity, Manage the weapons in the level, Insta grip in which you get killed in one fire (My Favorite). The map design is fantastic, Almost every map is different from the other. UT's bot AI is superb, The bots are very clever, They move fast and play like real gamers, You can reduce the AI of the bots for better gameplay. Remember the easy (novice) bots are very easy and the hardest (godlike) bots are very difficult to fight. The only bad things in UT is the main menu, Epic must have done a better main menu. Unreal Tournament is a superb action game, and surely worthy of your money, A not to be missed if you like action games.

This is a very cool game with 3-D effects, loads of weapons and maps, amazing sounds and lights, and online multiplayer gaming. This game is the best shooter game I have ever played! Hint: To win this game, imagine your opponent is someone you hate. That will make you want to hunt them down!!
