This is an amazing game. The sounds are great. The visuals are great. The weapons are cool (the shock rifle rules). The bots are quite good. The one dowside that i can think of is the limited amount of player models (e.g. - Q3 has plenty o player models). Hours of fun after work and after classes.

I sat down and played this game and was instantly hooked. The sad thing is that I don't own it... :( This is a sure buy for people who love shoot-em up network games or for people who just love to kick some a**.

This game is soooo great! It runs perfectly on any system, just about, but you'll want either a reliable 56K, or a broadband connection before playing on the internet. If you've got an in-home LAN you're in luck too, cuz you can play against friends virtually lag free! I have absolutely no complaints with this game, none. I usually spot at least one flaw with every game I play, but not this one. It has the most intense, fast-paced, multiplayer mayhem you can get on this planet without risking a limb or two in a real gunfight (which is also illegal, so even if you did get out in one piece you'd be locked away in jail indefinitely).

Okay, I have to go back to UT now, can't get enough!

Unreal Tournament Game Of The Year Edition: A Must Have Game

Unreal Tournament has about 7 modes. Each mode has a lot of unique maps for you to shoot your opponents. Many of the maps have traps which can hinder you or help you out. There are 12 awesome guns. One I don't remember, but I will list the rest: Translocator, Impact Hammer, Enforcer(You can have 2 Enforcers out at one time), BioRifle, ASMD Shock Rifle, Pulse Rifle, Minigun, Flak Cannon, Rocket Launcher, Sniper Rifle, and the Redeemer. 32 MB of RAM is minimum, but if you have 64 MB or more, you can set the graphics to look so life-like. The fighters actually talk. Quake 3 Arena is good too, but Unreal Tournament Game Of The Year Edition is the best choice for a "shoot them up" game.

This game has deffinate replay value I've played this game over and over yet I still find ways to make it new and exciting. The multi player modes are the best where you can use the chaos modd which gives you the ever cool grappling hook plus a few new weps, levels and some other mods.Deffinatly a great buy for anyone who likes shooter style games

This has to be one of the greatest games ever made. Its' been out for over 2 years but I still play it often if not every day. The team features such as capture the flag or assault are great for multiplayer gaming. There's also tons of mods out for the game, most of which are free. Some even allow you to have a Half-Life type of game with different units. The graphics are superb, the game runs smooth even on older systems (PIII 500mhz, 64mb Ram, 8mb ATi Rage Pro). It suports virtually all type of hardware configurations and has reasonable low system requirenments. U.T. has caught on and is now available on virtually every console. (UT Championship is coming soon for X-Box.) If you never played U.T., you don't know what your missing.
