I found this game to be pretty hard, but it was fun to play.

I hate this game. There is a hallway that you walk up and down and a parrot that you ask questions to. There are doors that you can't open. In the main hall there are pictures on wall of people with flags of symbols beneath them. There are people that you can ask questions to but they don't give any real "answers".
You can't walk outside. There are all sorts of astrological symbols and maps in Nancy's room and in the mansion. There are books in the library but I couldn't pick any of them up. All of the columns in the main hall are missing a small detail. I walked around in people's rooms, the main hall and upstairs hallway. That's it. This game is not worth $2 to me.

I have to say I thought this game was going to be really good but it wasn't. It was OK. I think it's very hard. Partly entertaining. But Her Interactive wasn't exactlly in it's finest hour with this game.

It wasn't what i expected each nancy drew game is getting so much easyier and there getting shorter and shorter.It says 20 hours of game play but it is only like 10 Hours Not even. Nancy Drew Company does not spend any time on their games any more. They try to do it as fast as they can alot of my brnad new anancy drew games have glitches in them. For example in stay tuned for danger i bought it that day intalled it and i played if for a week i beat it so i wanted to play on master detective but when i clicked on the cabnit in Matties dressing room in the begining of the game i ended up in dwanyes room before the end of the game. I recomend buying One of the first 6 games those are the best. Thanks. Signed,

first off, i dont have this game yet, but from what i heard from all the people who had played it, it's bound to be great. More challaging puzzles, and supposedly it is the scariest Nancy Drew game yet. I say 'supposedly' because since i havent played it yet, i'm not sure, but i know that it'll be a thriller. I thought this was Grand Theft Auto (as I said the first two times!) when I turned it on peeps were dancing! This game is stupid don't ever getit!

I'm an avid Nancy Drew Mystery player, and Curse of Blackmoor Manor was great. It was scary and fun and pretty interesting. The puzzles were really hard, though. This isn't HerInteractive's BEST game, but it is worth the money.

The game wasn't that "creepy." However the toil without oil thing was quite interesting. The voices were annoying; they should hire REAL Brits to record the voices for the characters. The puzzles were really hard and you have to use a hint website for them, as was the gargoyle touching thing. However, it seems Jane acted a lot younger than her supposed age in the game. The things she did were more like a five-year-old's actions. Otherwise it was an intriguing game and fun to play.

After playing four other EXCELLENT Nancy Drew games, imagine my shock and dismay after having tried to get into this one. Being in agreement with the other reviewer, I am extremely disappointed that HerInteractive, a company which has put out so many wonderfully family-friendly games, would infuse this one with so much dark and innapropriate subject matter, such as witchcraft, astrology, mysticism and the occult. Not at all what I was expecting, I am sorry to report. My recommendation is to stay far away from this game and the harmful content that it contains.
