ASB 2003 is the best baseball game ever made. The graphics are much better than last year, and now there is an expansion mode and 3 man commentary. Plus all updated rosters, and Home Run Derby. This is a must buy for any baseball fan. It blows away High Heat 2003!

Allstar Baseball 2003 is a good game for people who enjoy pitching and fielding. This game does a good job in both these departments. I struck out over ten guys (granted it was just Tampa Bay but who cares) in one game, something I can't do with the other games. Fielding is also easy to do. Unfortunately, it is not easy to hit the ball. Hitting in this game is either a ground out or a home run. Those who like to hit the ball deep may want to avoid this game. Also, why does this game bother with a home run derby segment? You're lucky you get one out.

This game is very exciting with great graphics and many different modes to choose from ,it is hard to turn off your ps2. You can't even trie to compare high heat 2003 baseball to this. It is an all around great game with it's incredible graphics and all new expansion mode it's a ball. I also enjoy this game because every game is a close and competitive one. There are no blowouts. I recommend this game to all ps2 sport game fanatics.

when i bought all star baseball 2003, i was expecting stellar gameplay along with great graphics and lots of options to choose from. this, however, was not the case. sure, the graphics were excellent, but that was to be expected. i found the gameplay mixed-up and hard to understand. the first ten games i played, i couldn't even catch a fly ball that was hit to the outfield. As for options... wait a minute, what options. this game gives you no way to customise the type of game you want to play. you can't make the game shorter by making less innings; you can't, in my experience, set the game options at all. overall, i would not buy this game. ...

Don't waste your time with any other baseball game!!

This game puts all other baseball games to shame. The All-Star baseball legacy lives on. Forget about High Heat and triple play, play All Star. You won't believe how realistic it is. Broken bats. You can actually see the baseball land in the fielder's gloves. When pitchers get base hits, they put on jackets....and there's a hell of alot more.

This game is very fun but can bore u after a couple weeks.Well hers the basics to this game when u play in the game go to game options and press easy batting off.Then it will be alot easier to hit the ball.If u like cheats to put on games well to bad because there is no good cheats on this game!The home run derby is really fun because u get to pick four batters and then u go head to head with another 4 batters.There is this one mode that is called Expantion mode u get to pick these other teams to play with like alabama and stuff like that then u have a player draft to see what players u get.This game has great gameplay but pretty good graphics but not as good as i expected.If i were u i would'nt do franchise unlees your gonna play 5 times a day every day,That's why i just do season because season takes long anoth for me!This is how they rank a player they rank a player by saying therem like A- or B+ like that for Example Randy Johnson is a A+ Barry Bonds is a A, and Derek Jeter is a A-.I think u get the picture so finally this is how i rank this game.

I want that hour of my life back!!! It is darn near impossible to get base hits, let alone home runs! To top it all, I took a no-hitter to the bottom of the 9th and on the last pitch the game broke it up!!! DON'T BUY IT!!!!!

This game is very poor. The graphics are pretty decent until you look at the crowd, then you realize your just playing a video game with a matted crowd, ruined the game. Baserunning is impossible to master, its like, to advance a runner use triangle plus the direction of the base that the runner is on, and some other garbage. You always get out as well when this happens because the computer is actually really smart. Which leads me to my next con. The game in general, simply put is impossible to win. I have it on rookie mode, with easy batting, and assisted fielding, and I still lose games 12-1. You may think this is great because its real, but you get tired of loosing over and over again. And thats with the easiest settings!!! STAY AWAY buy some other game, like ICO, or Jak and Daxter, or Kingdom Hearts or something.LATER

Like all Baseball games, the season is long. After all, there's no way you can play 162 games in 4 days unless you simulate games and that's no fun.

But anyway, this was a good game. Graphics are pretty basic, the commentators aren't as annoying as any of the John Madden series games and all in all, it's good for all ages.

Not much more to say than that. But in any case give this game a shot because it might grow on you. Have fun!

Although the players are a lot like they were in the 2002 game, this game is twice as good. There is now a franchise mode and expansion mode which makes the game even more fun. There are more replays and more sayings by the announcers. You can do a lot more with the pitching and the hitting. You can charge the mound, brush-back pitches, and pitch-out on the steal. There are the rookies from last year and the rosters are updated. This makes the game funner and you cant get bored. This is a great game if you are into baseball or you just like different video games. I definately reccommend this game.
