medal of honor is one of the best games on the playstation. i think the ww2 idea is good. its exciting to play. those who have played syphon filter will probably like this game. it has many different weapons. some levels are easy and some are challenging. the sound effects are good. the film intros are enjoyable if not a little short. i found that the multi play was poor quality. i was a little disappointed with the end as i was expecting a big finish.

Wow...53% head shots...hee hee

Its stuff like that that makes you love this game. The developers went into great depths to bring out the wonderful detail of this game, right down to counting the percentage of head, arm, torso, leg, ankle, and even groan shots. You can even earn medals for doing a great job for each mission, which leaves a a great deal of replay value once you beat each mission. It's kind of funny how some people say the missions get boring, that its all under cover stuff, looks like they have played...mabye 4 or 5 levels of the game, when there is actually 7 whole missions, with 3 or 4 levels in each. In fact there is only 3 levels where you go under cover. You wonder why some one would just play a couple levels of a game and think he/she has the ability to review the FULL game. I personally enjoy the under cover missions, its is really fun to guide a german sailor behind cargo boxes, shoot him 007 style, and take is ID. In fact most of the levels are very diverse, first you will be taking down a huge rail cannon, then you will be going in a submarine, then in the forset where german bunkers wait you, and many more scenarios. All of them enjoyable. The soundtrack to this game is simply incredable, I find it to be one of the best soundtracks to a game ever (along with Final Fantasy, Ridge Racer, etc.). The multiplayer was a big let down though, if they just polished it up, this game would be even better than Nintendo's Golden eye, but instead it is just at its par.

Overall a incredible game, with room for polishing in the sequal (yes, EA has brought the lisence to make a sequal to Medal of Honor, and will probly be released for PS2). A must-buy if you like shooters that require strategy, or a must buy for anyone once it becomes a greatest-hit.

This is an awesome game if I ever saw one. If you like action packed shooter games this is for you. From bazokas to silenced pistols, you name the gun, it has it. This kept me busy from 3 months ago and I am still playing it. This game is about a wolrd war 2 secret agent for the U.S who takes over ships, blow up trains, and does much more. If you like great games, you need medal of honor.

This is quite simply the best Playstation Game ever made ( and the sequels are just as good! Made by the co. that brought us Saving Private Ryan and produced by Steven Spielburg well, You can be sure this game does justice to the subject matter! And yet it's a blast to play! The weapons are realistic, not huge and overpowered and while the enemy AI is hard, it's beatable if you shoot first and ask questions later. The graphics are showing age though this game is 3 years old, but not everyone on earth owns a PS2 (yet) and Allied Assault needs a fast platform to run on so this game is good if don't have much to work with.

Medal Of Honor is truly awesome. The graphics are fair, and the sound is outrageous. You can hear dogs barking, and even the Nazi soldiers talking to each other!! There are different missions you have to complete, and they never get boring. The controls are really easy to catch on to. Another good thing about Medal Of Honor is while it is violent,it isn't gorey. If you're looking for a realistic war game, Medal Of Honor is my recommendation.

simply put, this is one of the best video games ever made. It has everything, control, graphics, sounds,AI and a story. A few levels are easy but as the game advances so does the difficulty.

I WOULD GIVE IT MORE IF I COULD

THIS GAME IS GREAT. MY OPPINION IS THAT IT IS THE SECOND BEST PLAYSTATION GAME OF THE YEAR (ONLY BEHIND DINO CRISIS). I LIKE THIS GAME MORE THEN RESIDENT EVIL THREE WHICH I DIDN'T THINK WAS POSSIBLE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS GAME TO ANYBODY. I GOT IT FOR CHRISTMAS AND HEARDLY EVER STOP PLAYING IT SINCE. THE GAME WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT ON 1 PLAYER, BUT THEY ADDED A GREAT MULTIPLAYER GAME WHICH LETS ME AND MY BRO HAVE ALOT OF FUN WITH IT AND IN MULTIPLAYER THERE ARE ALOT OF GREAT CODES FOR SECRET CHARECTERS.EVERYONE SHOULD BUY THIS GAME

The most amazing, realistic video game on the market today. The attention to detail, in the sights and sounds, is beyond description. It really takes the player into the realities of war.

I could go on about how engaging Medal of Honor is, but here's the short version--The details are great, from the muzzle climb of your Thompsom SMG, to your character's college report card! The missions, enemy AI, and atmospheres are realistic and convincing.Sound is near perfect, including the movie-quality soundtrack which was composed just for this game. MOH's replay value is substantial, as you'll find yourself coming back to previously played levels to shoot some more of those conniving Nazis. The only downers in MOH are the sometimes-grainy graphics, slightly glitchy collision detection, and single difficulty level. These will probably be overlooked when you find the Bazooka and a couple boxes of ammo:)
