One of the Greatest 1st Person games I have played

This game is awesome. I have played many different first person games and I have to say this is one of the best ones I have played. People have said that the contols are difficult to play with yet the more that you play with them the better you get with them.(If you have the analog padels it makes it much easier to aim). One of the things I like about this game is the different missions that you are assigned to do like going undercover as a Nazis captain and to sabotage a Nazis U-boat. I like the guns, the old guns that you use. I really like this game and I would recommend any that are interested in buying this game to go ahead and buy it.

WOW! That's all I can say about this game. Although a tad on the easy side, this is truly a masterpiece. No other game has captivated me and make me hate those damn Germans as much as MOH does. You get to sabatage "Gretta", a massive railgun, force a U-Boat into a straight dive in the sea, and cause a V-2 Rocket to tip over at take-off destroying a V-2 plant, just to name a few missions. A very nice addition that I love about MOH is the historic video, narrated and all. I learned so much about WWll that I could write a book. Please, do yourself a favor and buy this game, OK?

Clever AI makes this game great

I wasn't looking for another Doom-type game, but I heard so many gamers rave about this game that I had to try it. The enemy AI is the best I've seen in a first-person shooter. Opponents will hide, crouch, or circle around and attack you from another direction. If you throw a grenade you may watch as the enemy kicks it back at you!

This isn't a game where you just run around randomly, blazing away at everything that moves. Being careful and sneaky pays off, and conserving ammunition is important. Some elements (like the sniper rifle) remind me of Turok 2, but whereas Turok 2 seemed arbitrary and frustrating, Medal of Honor is a real joy to play.

well one day im just cruisin the mall and so i go into bestbuy and see the game medal of honor i thought is was awseome so i went and bought it and at my house it was GREAT rom the graphics to sounds it was awseome. i was hooked then underground came bought it as soon as it was out but this game is great and one thing i found out in it is the dogs in the game

I loved playing this game!!! It's graphics are great, and the battles can get really intense. My favorite part of this game is that you go undercover as a German officer and my favorite thing to do in the undercover missions is pull an alarm, and hide around the corner and when the Germans come out in the open, shoot'em like they don't have any weapons. Another cool part is when Germans go to pull an alarm and you shoot the alarm and he blows up. BUY THIS GAME!!! You will not be disapointed.

This has got to be the very best 1st person shooter for playstation. The exellent graphics make you feel like you were there. I love how the enemy speeks in German better than English that makes it more releastic. There are 7 different missions each one is exellent and offers a new challeng. This game is probly the best game for playstation this year. I RECOMEND YOU BUY IT.

Authentic World War II game. Great 1st person shooter. The best soundtrack ever in a game. You can also purchase the soundtrack here on amazon.com. Great game from beginning to end. For a good time buy this game!

Great sound & easy controls; bad 3D rendering & it cheats

Play this game with surround sound if you can because the guns, whizzing bullets, voices, dogs, and other sound effects were terrific! The animation of the enemy as they got shot was very well done and even humorous at times. (Try shooting their foot or helmet.) I'm age 41 and found the controls very easy to handle. What I really disliked about this game were: 1. The 3D rendering was really poor-I continuosly saw flickering polygons. 2. The game cheats! Examples: a) a machine gun nest was able to shoot me even though I was directly behind a tree. b) The game will take away pick-ups. For instance, I was able to get through one section unscathed only to get clobbered in the following section. When I returned to the previous section to retrieve a pick-up (e.g., a first aid kit), it was gone. 3. Multiple shots were required to kill the enemy. This is usually okay except when you take the time to align the cross hairs of a high-powered sniper rifle on the enemy's head. In that case, 'one shot, one kill' should apply. If you can afford to buy multiple games, then this is worth buying. If you have to choose just one action/adventure game, definitely choose Syphon Filter instead. Happy New Year.

Medal of Honor is one of the best first person shooter games available, in that it is creative and original. History buffs will enjoy the realistic feel of the game as you explore the various mission zones. Weapons are ample and realistic. Controls are simple and easy to learn. Missions are clearly explained and while challenging, are not frustrating. There is a great deal of variety in each mission too. You'll need to use a combination of firepower and stealth to successfully complete your goal.

The only reason this game did not get higher marks is the unforgivable problem with the graphics. There is alot of camera issues and breakup, which is a huge problem for games of this genre. Also, there is a problem with polygon drop out to the point where all of a sudden you can see through a wall or obstacle, which can really throw you off. Additionally, the replay value of this game is extremely low as there is nothing new to aspire to. If you are really into historic games or first person shooters, then give this game a try. Although, if you want more game for your money, try Medal Gear Solid.
