The best game of World War II I had ever play.

This game is simply perfect, the enviroments are made exactly how they were in World War II, the enemies AI are way to smart,Steven Speilberg the creator of this game knew how realistic had to be to keep gamers coming for more action, Its a must have for every 3D shooter gamer out there.DONT MISS THIS GAME OUR YOU WILL BE SORRY...

I have no idea what game those people were playing who gave Medal of Honor more than 1 star. I am assuming they were intoxicated or otherwise handicapped. This is EASILY, the absolute worst 1st person shooter I have ever played. The graphics are blocky, and just all around quite poor. Also the game is too linear. You can't just walk around anywhere. You have to follow the small path the game gives you. I, unfortuantely, read the first review, went out and bought this supposed fantastic game. Do yourself a favor and heed my warning: DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, BUY THIS GAME. Not only are the graphics poor, but the game is nothing more than walking through a glorified maze were Nazis are milling around. For example, the first mission consists of finding an airplane and a logbook. You don't even have to search for these items, they are out in the open. The downed airplane conveniently crashes in a circular opening on your path. And no, the clearing wasn't made by the plane crash, that would be too advanced for this game. Once you get into a town don't even think about looking around and exploring, 99% of the doors are window dressing and you are unable to go inside. How a previous reviewer could compare this to Half-Life is beyond me. Half-Life is light years ahead of this total wreck of a game. If anything this game compares most closely to the OLD, OLD Wolfenstein 3D game. In which you shoot Nazis going through a maze during WWII. I felt more like a rodent going through a maze than a gameplayer while plodding through this terrible game. I am envious of the rodent because they, at least, get a piece of cheese at the end of the maze and I am just stuck with Medal of Honor.

Medal of Honor is a great first person shooter game it's like your really fighting in World War Two. Although it might not be as good as Resident Evil or Tomb Raider, it has well done graphics, the weapon select is unebelievable. Thre fun factor is great and has great levels.In my mind Medal of Honor is one of the greatest games i ever played.

S. Speilberg and the rest deserve a Medal of Honor....

I have always loved WWII and know it extensively. And this game is historically accurate, and very real. The graphics are wonderful. The sound speaks for itself ( I reconmend the soundtrack, also available). The weapons also sound and look real, as do the background noise, (I love level 3, where you can hear whistles and footsteps running and even jeeps driving overhead). A real treat... go to the GALLERY and look at the "making of" under each mission title, you will get to see additional outstanding artwork, some remind me of Saving Private Ryan, which is just as realistic as this game. The enemy AI is very real, soldiers react to everything you do, and the German they speak, is very nice, I also enjoy the little things that they add to make it real, like hearing the announcments at the train station over the intercom, which adds to it all. To not mention the music would be a sin. What other game uses a 70-piece orchestra to pull you in the game? (big hand for Michael Giacchino). Grab the popcorn and Coke, you might think your watching an old WWII movie with John Wayne. I must close saying that Speilberg, like in the box office, has outdone himself and so has Dreamworks, and the rest of cast and crew (and the artists, outstanding drawings, loved the Churchill portrait). Anyway buy the game.

this is undoubtedly one of the best playstation games ever produced!if you liked goldeneye you wil treasure this game! the graphics are that of n64 and the action is too! do not shrug off this game.

very rarely does one find a video game that has less than two flaws. medal of honor has about, um, lets see...none whatsoever! this is even better than goldeneye because the surroundings are inspirational. you actually think that your in wwii.

this game isn't only for die hard gamers or die hard war fans, this is for all. everyone will like this . everyone will honor medal of honor!

Medal of Honor is definatly one of the best first person shooters for the Playstation. This game has a great selection of weapons and missions that will keep you rivited. The game play is pretty similar to that of 007 Goldeneye, it's not quite as fun though. This game also has a multi-player mode but would be much improved if more than two gamers could play at a time. The only bad thing about the game is that it is not much fun to play a mission after you have already beat it. This game is outstanding, you've got to try it!

The Best Shooter For the PSX!

I'm walking forward and suddenly you spot him. The officer, followed by a group of 4 other soldiers, you throw a grenade. They scramble in a mad rush and one kicks it back towards you. you throw another grenade and one soldier jumps on it to save his buddies. The Grenade explodes in smoke and fire and the officer is blown away. You whip out your SMG and fire into the scurrying crowd of soldiers. Helmets soar, bullets fly. You back away and find yourself picking off soldiers with your sniper rifle. With realistic locational damage and real, vintage world war 2 weapons, this is the best shooter to ever happen to Playstation. While the sound is great and just about everything else, the graphics are not cutting edge but those graphics just add to the atmosphere of the game. BUY this game is great! The suspense and fun factor portrayed in the game can not be matched! Buy this now!

I think that this game is the best game that has ever beem built for the playstation.No game can beat this.Other people say that this game is hard to play and that you have to be cordinated to be able to play it,well they are wrong and they dant know what is good for them,but the people who buy it they know what is good.

I was always bying all of the new games that came out and i was never happy with what i got.I was hoping that they would come out with a world war II game,then one day my friend called me and told that he got back from a store and saw this game,and said that it had a good price for being new so that same day,within that hour i was playing medal of honor and i play everyday from 4:00-10:00 and i have beat the game so many times but each time you think of a nother way to play it,so that it never gets boring.i wish that they would come out with a game that is just like (saving private ryan).(medal of honor has lots of levels and weapons to choose out of.The most thing that i like about the game is that in the backround of the game you can hear dogs barking people shouting and other interesting things.all of the things that they show in the levels really take place.the multi-player is cool with all of the codes,the same with the levels.you have 4x-firing rate and invincibility,all weapons for that level,and when the bullets hit the wall the bullets fly until they hit some with that code.

So if you are looking for the best game evr made then you should buy the best (MEDAL OF HONOR)

My 2 cents about Medal of Honor

I'll be frank. This is the best game I've played for Playstation ever since NHL 99. The missions are fun and interesting, from sending a German U-boat to its watery grave to launching a sabotaged V2 rocket. The enemy AI is awesome, with Nazis throwing grenades back at you or diving on them to save their buddies, and each hit zone is limb specific, meaning that they react differently to where they get shot (Try to off them with a shot or two to the head). The weapons are actual WWII weapons, and the design for them in the game was aided by a retired WWII veteran (he actually helped them with the entire game, not just the weapons). You get to use M1s, BARs, Tommy Guns, Bazookas, and of course, your favorite kind of non-organic pineapple (grenades). Buy this game if you like shooter games, if you are interested in WWII, or if you're looking for something good to play.

When I first saw Medal of Honor, I was excited. I had recently become totally bored with N64's Goldeneye and was wishing there was a WWII shooter out there. I only had the time to play it a minute but after that minute I couldn't stop thinking about that game. I rented it later and found it was the best game I'd ever played. I has fantastic music and excellent sound effects. Bullets slapping you, German soldiers yelling in the background, and awesome gun sounds, far better than Goldeneye. The levels had a feeling as if you were really there. Unlike Goldeneye's fake seeming cartoon like levels. The fact tha this is a World War 2 game makes it a great game. Everything in the game fits the era exactly. Most reviews say that Medal of Honor has no replayability, but I say, if you like killing Nazis, then it has replayability. Also they say the multiplayer is no good. If you want multi, go play Goldeneye or Perfect Dark, which has great multi, but if you want awesome single player Nazi killing action, buy Medal of Honor!
