This game is extremly well done. I have been dreaming about it since I first heard about it. When I played it I was not disappointed.

Shoot to kill!

It's a lot like Goldeneye 007, but the theme is more realistic. The graphics are okay, but the music really sets a tense mood. The attacking dogs are an interesting touch. Overall, a lot of fun :)

This is a great game for history buffs and gamers alike.

I had heard great things about this game, and bought it without hesitation. It is historically accurate as far as the uniforms and locales. It is also a blast to play. This is definitely one game worth the price, for military history enthusiasts as well as fans of first person shooters.

This game is a time machine to World War II

Amazing music and sound with the best AI enemies ever on a Playstation game, mixed with great missions and real footage puts you where no other game has. A must buy for the World War II buff or first person gamer!

Ladies and Gentlemen..you now have a first person shooter for the Playstation that rivals Goldeneye. This game is possibly one of, if not the, finest playstation titles released. I'll keep this short. The game's presentation, from the full-video mission introductions, to the detail of the mission objectives, it's just incredible. The graphics are flawless, interactive enviroments that look just georgous. Enemy AI reacts swiftly and appropriately to your presence, and they react to being shot EXACTLY as they would in real life. Shoot them in the arm, and they wither in pain clutching their arm. Shoot them dead in the chest with a powerfull sniper rifle at medium range, they fly back five feet and collapse in a heep. Tons of missions, tons of replay value, and the SOUND!Classical Orchestra compostions time with the action on screen, adding incredible impact to the game, everything from your footsteps, to Gestapo's shouting german swears at your presense, to hearing german patrols murmer cursings from just around the corner. This is simple perfection.

It's about time...let there be a sequel!

I discovered Medal of Honor quite by accident, but am extremely happy I purchasedit. The missions are great and the support (all sorts of video footage, player vs. player mode, and passwords for extra options) is phenomenal.

I have to mention, however, that certain aspects are hard to control in this 1st person shooter. For one, it is difficult to jump- something that frustrated me for almost an hour one night. Another is interaction with the environment: You can get "stuck" going up ladders (you have no choice but to go up or down if you back into one), and as far as I can tell, you can fall 4 or 5 stories and not be injured. Also, some footfalls for your character while walking, or some other "stimuli" would have been nice.

Still, the enemies are cunning and intelligent: by far the most intelligent in any 1st person shooter I've played (e.g. Jerry runs from the grenades you throw, or, if there's enough time, kicks them back at you!).

For gamer/history buffs, this game's a must! Now, can we have a Pacific theater version?

This game surpasses any other psx action game. I bought 4 other games at the same time they have not even been opened yet. This game is representative of the quality that we as consumers should be expecting. Graphics, animation, sound and AI all combined to create a truly great gaming experience.

Terrible controls

Interesting idea, but after playing for ten minutes, the game movement became very disorientating and confusing. Aiming the rifle is unneccessarily difficult (syphon filter for example). Great idea, but ultimately the headache creating controls are a major negative
