Medal of Honor is an absolutely outstanding game. True, it has alot in common with Wolfenstein 3D(which is also an excellent game)with the germans and it being a first-person shooter. But, this game is reality-based with real wartime objectives and that is what sets it apart from Wolfenstein 3D. To be honest, when I first played it, I wasn't expecting much. Boy, was I surprised afterwards. I mean, this game totally engulfs you and makes you feel as though you're actually there.
Graphically, the game may be a bit grainy but it doesn't take from the game. You hardly notice that once you get into it. The sound is what truly shines in this game. Everything from germans yelling to one another to shotgun fire to explosions. Control is deadon, no complaints there. The gameplay is engaging and intense and, at times, difficult but extremely fun nonetheless.
I give the highest honor to this game. It's one that I highly recommend to all FPS fans and/or action fans alike. It's definitely a classic that will stand for all-time.

I love this game. BRAVO well done. The only negative things I have to say is that I wish they allowed you to do more hand to hand combat or knife fighting and that I wish the game had more gadgets like binoculars and a map.

This is the best game of playstation! This game is so fun,the sound effects are so good and the graphics are so realistic that i can't stop playing it.This game offer a good difficulty challenge that can keeps you busy for many hours.

As I was walking down a road i hear gun shots and see bullets whizzing by me i turn around and there is 5 germans there all shooting at me. After i have a hard time shooting them all and i thouhgt they were the last i see a german in bushes shooting at me i have to shoot at the bushes(not knowing what i am shooting at) untill there are no more gun shoots in the bushes, then i walk down a little farther and see 4 germans, i throw a gernad at them but the kick it back and i have to get out of the way FAST! This game is very diffecult at times but not all the time and some of the levels are hard but some are somewhat easy.

medal of honor is the only wwII shooter that hit the charts this game is based on true info from movies ect. the graphics are wonderful accept for some blurry spots but thats the system. well this game is about jimmy paterson (your character) that tries to stop nazi plots.

the 2 player mode is golden eye for playstation accept with real guns like the smg boozoka thompson and many more

Intense action will keep any gamer waiting for the next level. Like Something out of Saving Private Ryan. Also so includes neat multiplayer action, were you can asume roles of the axis or allies.

THIS GAME IS A BLAST AT FIRST BUT ONCE YOU HAVE BEATEN AROUND 4 LEVELS YOU WILL BE BOARD STIFF OF THIS GAME. EVERY LEVEL IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE OTHER. IT IS JUST ANOTHER UNDERCOVER MISSION OBLECTIVES SORTA THING. IF THAT IS THE STYLE YOU WANT THEN GET THE GAME BECAUSE YOU WILL HAVE A BLAST WITH. Excellent game

I rented this game and re-rented it 3 times. The realisim is excellent and the controls are not hard to learn at all. From sneaking around with a silenced weapon for going unoticed, to going undercover as a Natzi Officer, to simply running around with a machine gun reaking havock. This game was great fun. The only reason I give this game a 4 instead of a 5 is the fact that there are a few graphical goofs. At times the Graphics get blurry when close up and occasionally polygon dropout can enable you to see through some walls. Even with these minor errors, it is a fun and exciting game. I highly recomend it for First Person gamming fans.

wolfenstein 3D in the 90's and so much more

We've always wanted to shoot up the nazis but wolfenstein3D, though it pioneered the first person shooter genre, never had that edge. Medal of honor is the savior to the bad name first person shooters get. Youre shooting a REAL bad guy. This game is thouroghly enjoyable and the controls are easy. The realism is a plus too. Youre put right in the middle of real places of WW2 as you rewrite history. And, the most fun thing ive seen in a shooter, is the use of grenades. Grenades in this game are used mainly for comical value. They'll be kicked back, thrown back, jumped on or picked up and carried back. Its great fun to watch. The realism is enhanced by the real-life setting and the pressure points. Shooting a leg will cause a nazi to jump up and down. Shooting at his head might only knock off his helmet.

The vast array of weapons is a lot of fun to work with. Finnaly, youll be like a lowly soldier and not have the huge guns like other games. All you get to start is a rifle and some grenades(which are pretty much useless as i stated). And the best thing about the game is the real challenges. Most shooters are simply shoot stuff. In this game, you have to disarm missles and go undercover as a nazi general. Some flaws in this game would be the disappearing bodies(i HATE that!) and the occasional bug. But other than that, this game will provide a lot of fun. Maybe even your parents will remotely approve of your liberation of Europe.
