Buy this game & here's why:

Good Features (in Grand Turismo Mode): Absorbing experince because of handling, many things to do, !NO DAMAGE ON CARS!, 201 cars, car washer, you don't just buy cars... you earn them, different wheelhubs, realistic tyre damage, training & real circuits!

Not so good features: Too little cars on the circuit at one time & hard to complete training courses.

This is a good racing game, why if it was a movie, people would see it. I give a perfect 10 out of 10, in other words ***** (5 out of 5).

Let me start by saying if you're not in the mood to get addicted to a game this isn't for you! It doesn't have as many cars as Gran Turismo 2 has, but who cares? Gran Turismo 2 had so many useless cars I wanted to hurl! The Big difference between Gran Turismo 2 and Gran Turismo 3 is the graphics! They're incredible!! Before I got my Playstation 2 a friend brought his over. We played Gran Turismo 3 and I was blown away! The only bad part: When he left I had to go back to playing Gran Turismo 2 until I got Playstation 2!

This was the game that started it all. This has the greatest graphics of any racing game ever. Everyone should own or rent it

I am a huge GT fan and i have them all! This game out does all of it though. I never really appreciated the game (since most of the levels are the same) until i went back to GT2, and after seeing GT3, 2 was like a church man. GT3 has amazing gameplay and graphics! From the big things like the scenary and the cars to the little things like the rain drop on the Rally Wet races. There are a lot more cars and a few more manufactors. The game is amazing with its up to date handling/traction/speed/ect, accuracy with the individual car! The tune up mode gets your car speeding up but it also pays attention more with the handling and the suspension as well. With it's easier to control Manual Transmission letting you slide inbetween corners, this game is hott stuff! If you are a big car person lookin to get this for the racin and the cars, i would highly recommend it over Midnight Club, the gameplay is much better, with the liscences and all. Only thing that got me was the Porsche didn't put out their name, but the RUF cars seem to resemble the same models... Go figure...

It offers a wide array of cars, but lacks some of the best ie Ferrari, Porsche, and Lambroghini. The tracks are limitless and offer awesome scenery, but I can't get over they didn't even have Porsches. I recommend this to anyone who has a lot of time, it will take most of your spare time to beat this game.

This game is the best car simulator ever. It has strret cars,road cars,trans am cars, F-1 cars, and rally cars. You will hear alot of people tell you the cars are hard to steer but that is because they SUCK!ITS A SIMULATOR GUYS!! Not Rush for N64.Anyways...stop reading and click the "Add To Cart".

I got this game in February with a PS2 gift package, with two games, a memory card, and (I believe) two controllers. It was an incredible deal, considering it came with the greatest video game ever made!
Being an avid gamer, I enjoy playing a multitude of genres and have dabbled in everything, but when a friend introduced me to GT2, and I got a hold of GT3 five months later, I knew that I had found THE GAME. It seems odd in this day an age to say such things, as the most violence Gran Turismo has is sparks from a guardrail, yet, this series has everything a video game needs to be 'good'.
To list, GT has/is :
1. Some of the most advanced graphics in console gaming. This is true for each successive title, relative to its time period of release.
2. Intricate, and yet accessible gameplay. A beginner can simply purchase a car and hit the tracks, while a more advanced player can manage nearly every aspect of the car's existence.
3. Staggeringly realistic driving physics. They are so good, that when I sit down to play a different racing game I am unable to play, from a lack of tolerance for it's primitive control.
4. Replay value. Even AFTER you have spent over 100 hours obtaining a glorious 100% completed, it never becomes lackluster to grab a car and take to the Laguna Seca Raceway!
5. This all adds up to FUN FUN FUN!
Every gamer should at least TRY the Gran Turismo series, and very few gamers I have met have failed to admit that they are good games. I cannot wait for the fourth installment, and am waiting anxiously for Amazon to allow me to preorder!

Great game right here! I love everything about it! But sadly there are some things it could of used such as more car selctions such as porshce and ferrari. It also sucks you need to get liscenses to do stuff in this game. But besides all that its pretty fun. Racing with your buddies is a lot of fun.

Oh YEah and another thing the game gets a bit tedious at times. Especially sim mode. Its so hard to beat all the levels. With that said go buy it its pretty cheap now. If you like cars youll love it if you dont you still love it! I''m out.

This game is so cool. The graphics are awesome and it is so real. My dad and I played this game for almost the whole day. The simulation mode is the coolest. Now it is hard to race on the other two games before this one. Every part of this game is so much fun. You need more money to start out with though. I like expensive cars.
