Zelda: Great Game or Confusing Peril?

I have Zelda: Orinca of Time. Even with the strategy guide for this game, it is still confusing. I am now having to start my game over now because I did something in the wrong order and I am in the middle of the game. I'm going to have to do the game over. It is usually fun, though. But, you must take the risk of having this game be your obbsesion and talking about it all the time. It is a really great game though.

... Ok let's cut to the chase. Great graphics. Anyone awaiting a game that's cutscenes are as good as the game itself? Look no further. You got your game right here. The sound effects are awesome (although ... the yaaaaa's and the hiiiiiyaa!'s get a little annoying...) But beware... if you don't like puzzle games, stop reading this review. Anyway, I have one thing to say: BUY THIS GAME!

This game is too easy.I never played it until my friend brouught it over.He was on the level with Ganon and I beat it on my first try.Other than that it is really good(especially the music.).

Ok, I played this game a long time ago (since it was released) and I'm not bored of it; and I don't think I will. Anyways, the story, gameplay, quests, side quests, etc... there is a lot to do in the game, you can spend hours and hours playing and you will not get bored. About the graphics, Ocarina of Time does not have very good graphics (but which Nintendo 64 game does?) but that really does not matter on this game.

I actually do not own this game for Nintendo 64, but I purchased it on the Wii Shop Channel, so I have it stored on my Wii's Virtual Console. I can tell you that I enjoy every minute of this game. The music is very nice, and you playing the Ocarina is one of the best parts!

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is, simply put, the best adventure game I have ever played. I'm a newcomeer to the Zelda series, so I'm not too sure how Ocarina rates with the others, but I love it. For an Nintendo 64, the graphics are absolutely beautiful. The lighting rivals that of a Playstation 2 or Xbox or Game Cube. The sound is terrific. Each different sound effect was done in detail. The sword against stone and the sword against wood are not the same as in a lot of games and sound just like they should. The echos when you enter the room and the monsters roaring in the distance are incredibly realistic and Link's footsteps are done perfectly. The puzzles are challenging, but not so that you want to through the controller down in frustration but so that you won't put the controller down until you've figured them out. The minigames and the sidequests will keep you playing long past the time you've beaten the game itself because they are so plentiful. The controls take some getting used to but are perfect for the game's combat system. The targeting especially helps the later you get into the game. The music is captivating and is very well done. Overall, I think this is one of the best games ever, not just in adventure. It's definetly a game anybody with a Nintendo 64 should have.

The Ocarina of Time has awesome graphics, plot, controls, music, characters (includign a cool humanoid fish species called Zora and rock eating Gorons), secrets, villains and optional side quests. It has a very deep plot, and if you want to take a break from the action, you can play one of the minigames, including Bomb-chu bowling (no that's not a pokeemon) archery, horse riding and dog finding. still not convinced? The Legend of Zelda set the standard for video games of today. The save feature was invented by it's created, shigeru myamoto, the most known figure in video games. he made Mario, Zelda, Starfox, Pikmin, and countless other great video games. The Legend of Zelda was so good, It was even brought onto the gamecube system!

This is my best game that I have ever played in my whole life!
I think the graphics are the best money can buy!! It is quite
a fighting game but any one could not just turn it off when they are in the middle of a boss!!!!!!!

I'm not gonna go into to much detail about what's in the game itself because there are about 1000 other reviews that do a pretty good job of that already, but this game is truely awesome. It is one of the first nintendo games I played and the reason I bought an N64. I saw my cousin playing it and I knew I had to have one. The graphics could be a little better, but I kinda like them how they are. It is chellenging, but not too chellenging. I used a guide book (Versus books has the best one for ocarina of time) and it was still fun and even a little bit chellenging, and I loved every minute of the game. I think it is the coolest idea for a game. It has the perfect combination of time in dungeons and time exploring new places. If you don't own this game, buy it. I guarentee you will nt be dissapointed, and if you are, your crazy and not fit to be called a human.

I've loved this game since I was in second grade. I've played playstation games, nintendo gamecube games, all those other sorts of newer game systems, but this is still the greatest game ever. The plots great, the graphics are awesome, and the characters totally rock. Even if you don't feel like fighting bad guys all the time, there's still other great stuff to play around with. Zelda Majoras Mask is also a great game, I would definitely recommend both of these games to anyone who loves video games.
