If there's a game that anyone can relate to, Ocarina of Time can be that game. A landmark in the action/adventure genre everyone will remember forever. Gameplay,Sound Design/Music, and Controller Configuration are flawless. There is no word that can describe about this game except, A Masterpiece.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is the greatest video game experience ever created. Remember when you were smaller in '87 and played Zelda for the first time. The storyline and difficulty perplexed you. But after you defeated Ganondorf for the 100th time, you just needed more. And that's what the 5th game of the series is here for (7th if you want to get technical, including the CDI games). Forget all the junk you've heard about the graphics are so good that the programmers forget to make the storyline good. This game has, not only a much larger and detailed 3D world that the previous over-head view Zeldas didn't have, an awesome story and the greatest accomplishments ever achieved on a console system. Come on, who would have thought of time travel (with all its paradoxes as well) where you not only kick butt as a kid but also 7-year-older man, great day-to-night changes, and an awesome musical score. The story of getting 3 spritual stones, traveling through time, saving 5 sages and defeating Ganon may not sound so great to you, there's so much in between all this. The motion-picture cinemas make the game even more exciting, and the legend-telling fill all the half-empty holes the game left. The only flaw of the Game of the Century is that the original overworld theme is not in the game. Now I don't know what the programmers were drinking when they took that out of the game, but at least you can hear a part remixed version of it in Hyrule Field. Overall, here's my ratings: Graphics 10; Story 10; Music / Sound 9; Fun 10 Thanks for reading and please don't cry to my when you get stuck in the Water Temple for 5 hours.

When Nintendo anounced there would be a new Zelda game for it's then new Nintendo 64 system, video games fans all over the world were estatic.
The imagination of Shigeru Miyamoto and his team coupled with the technological prowess of the N64, meant that everyone had high hopes for this game.
After a development period of well over 3 years, fans and critics alike were begining to question the quality of the game. Surely no game in existnce could live up to the massive hype surrounding it.
All these doubts were erased the very minute Nintendo unveiled The Ocarina Of Time to the public.
Shigeru Miaymoto craeted a game that far surpassed everyone's expectations. The awe inspiring graphics - from the terrifying Ganondorf's castle to the beauty of the sun setting over Lake Hylia, the haunting score, the inticate and flexible control method which soon becomes second nature, the strong narrative and the challenging, thought provoking puzzles are second to none.
Miyamoto had delivered his Masterpiece.
This simply is the finest game ever.

This game when brought out was the absolute pinnacle of role playing gaming and perhaps still is. It introduced to the world an incredibly intuitive method of playing with intriguing puzzles and timeless gameplay. It's absorbing - with about 80 hours of playtime - what more can you ask for?
The Zelda series has produced some of the best games ever made on any console and they will live on forever.

the game was awesome. Zelda has always been an addicting, mindblowing, and fun game. Many people like it. The game features a great 3d world in which there is night and day. the game also has many different enemies and dungeons and the famous ocarina where you can play different tunes that you have learned. A really good game if you like action and adventure. The frustrating thing are the puzzles. they may take some time to solve. This is not why i gave the game 4 stars. I believe 5 stars means the game is perfect. and this game is not perfect.
loved this game.

this was undoubtedly one of the best games ever made simply because of its amazing graphics and interesting characters. the dungeons were fairly challenging, and the it was just basically a very attractive game. but i found it somewhat easy. i mean, i got it for christmas, and finished it by february (and believe me, i'm not one of the fastest game players--in fact, i'm pretty slow).
also, the basic gameplay isn't very challenging. there are only a couple of instances i can think of in which one actually needs an item shop--you can get nearly all your items an easier (and cheaper) way, so you usually have all the rupees you can get and nothing to do with them, unless you want to pass the time by going fishing at Lake Hylia.
another thing is that the overworld theme is, to put it bluntly, boring. besides the dazzling graphics throughout, there really isn't much to do outside the dungeons. sure, there are games (fishing, bombchu bowling, shooting gallery, etc.) and skulltula collecting and heart collecting, but they quickly got old, mainly because, once you think about it, the world is pretty small, and you keep going to the same places over and over again. now take SNES "The Secret of Mana" for example, or even "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past". those worlds were HUGE, especially for the time when they were made.
but, after all, there IS something enchanting about the game in general, and i can't help but love it. and even though i've beat it again and again, it is still a great game to play when you're bored, or when you just want to get away for a while.
