It just doesn't get any better than this. Seriously, it doesn't. Let's see...GREAT music, EASY TO FIGURE OUT gameplay, ADDICTING storyline, PERRRRFECT graphics (They are really awesome!). BEAUTIFUL music (where's that soundtrack? Ah, here! Da da, dadada daaa, de da de da da da dummmm...) It's better than I make it sound! It's challenging, it's intriging, you'll fall in love with the characters (GO NAVI!!) Seriously, the best game on the market. You're not satisfied, you say? Well, then get another Zelda game! They're all perfect!!! (Although this one is probably the best!)

Before I played this game, the only other Zelda game that I had ever played was Link to the Past, and I couldn't understand it that well. I decided to play this because of the hype. I was sure glad I did. This is one of the best games ever! It's full of adventure, it has a wonderful story, and it is challenging. It begins with Link, a 10-year-old Kokiri (child of the forest) who is chosen to save Hyrule, his home world. Along the way, you meet new friends, such as Princess Zelda, and grow into a 17-year-old adult to fight the evil Ganondorf! You have many different weapons, spells, and items at your disposal, including swords, bows, and a giant hammer. The fun never stops and the story never goes flat. If you want a grand adventure, buy this game. If you like this, play The Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask, but wait until you finish this game.

The way the N64 will be remembered.

20 or 25 years from now, you will sit down and tell your kids about Zelda 64. This game is not just your run of the mill great game, this is a game that legends are made of. This is not the first Zelda game to cause such great feedback, but this is the most talked about and most wanted game ever. Not only has this game won game of the year in 1998, but it also comes from the best game designer on the planet. The gameplay, the graphics, the music, the sound and the characters are all made to serve up a certain epic. To not have or play this game, is to deny yourself of the best game ever made.

Outstanding game..!

I would recommend this game for anyone..You can learn alot of skills by playing this game..you increase your common sense and you learn to observe things better..the graphics and music is great (especially coming out of a cartridge), one small flaw though.. there is a very huge landscape..the land of hyrule to huge..sometimes (around the beginning of the game) you tend to get lost.. sooon enough though u get the hang of it and everything comes pretty naturally then..but untill you get that horse its a pain in the neck to get from one place to another..for bux this game will give a xpierieced gamer about 3 weeks of playing everyday..and a newbie..probably like 5 to 6 weeks..one suggestion though..please do not get a players guide..it defeats the whole purpose of an RPG especially one like Zelda..so for the price its worth every penny..just buy it..!

FUN!

I like video games, but usually find that most are either a) impossible: they are so twisted and long that you never finish them b) boring as hell or c) baby-fare. With Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time, you are in for a treat. The world of Hyrule is awesome, complicated, and full of cool little creatures and beautiful scenery that you can interact with. It is easy enough to progress in the game without getting stuck every four seconds, but some parts are challenging and while you still know what to do to succeed, it takes a few tries to get past the bosses and various other enemies. What I love about this game is the amount of exploration the game entails... this isn't one of those games where you find a magic key in the forest, and the game is over. There are hundreds of little clues and tricks and weapons to find and learn. The characters are cute, and numerous. The main character, Link, even ages! I loved the Link games for the Super Nintendo (the ones for the old, ollld Nintendo were before my time...) when I was a young kid, and this is better because the graphics/music are improved. The person who said that it isn't that good because it isn't deep should really consider what video games are about. They aren't supposed to be deep, they are supposed to be fun. True, Final Fantasy is fun AND deep, but I don't think it should be a model for all RPG/action video games. Sometimes it's nice to have something light and fluffy and sugary to spend your time with. If you want deep, go read Dostoyevsky. With that said, I must attest that Zelda for 64 is a much more complex game than most, without being convoluted. It is not overtly violent, but an element of hidden danger exists in the fluffy fairy world of Hyrule that will keep you hooked. If you're going to buy a game this year, buy Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (for 64).

Thanks Granny.

I got my Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time game for my birthday this year. I got it from my grandmother. I played it before I went to school. Then, after I got into The Great Deku Tree, I had to go to school. I told my friends, and I found out a lot of people liked it.I got home and told my grandmother how much I liked it, and now she said she'll get me Majora's Mask soon. Now, I just go through all the dungeons (they're just called dungeons, they're actually just rooms filled with excitement, puzzles, and a boss at the end) for fun. Although two dungeons, The Shadow Temple, and The Bottom of the Well, kind of creep me out, it's still a great game.

No other RPG can compare to this.

Although the Final Fantasy series was pretty good, no other RPG can compare to this.

With a very long storyline, and if you don't have a strategy guide handy, there's a possibility that it might take a while to finish the game completely.

The features are just amazing. At some points, you are required to move into the future 7 years, where Link is a full-grown adult, and sometimes back 7 years to advance in your journey. As an adult, some things will have changed. And when day turns to night and vice versa, some things will change that will be different when compared to the same place, only in the daytime.

The battles are intense. And as for the boss battles, the bosses have a variety of options that they can do, and to effectively defend, you usually have to be prepared for any "curves" that they throw at you.

Legend of Zelda: OoT holds a lot of replay value. Even after I've finished the game, I'm still having a great time.

Overall, Legend of Zelda: OoT is probably one of the best RPGs available. Would be definitely worth buying and would also make a wonderful gift!

Best Game Ever!

OK, I have always loved the zelda games even since i was in like first grade ( I am in eighth now) but this one tops them all. Its not just because its on N64 and has better graphics, but its just a great experience. There are so many different items and puzzles in this game. I was so obsessed with this game that my friend and I spent a whole weekend playing pretty much non stop! If you are going to get only one game for N64, this should be it (unless you dont like the zelda series at all)

ZELDA RULES!

Okay. This is the best game in the Universe! It has excellent graphics, wonderful music, and a storyline better than that of Titanic!(Really. I saw the entire movie and never shed a tear, but cried during the ending cinema of this game.) You start out as a mere child, but by the fourth level you're the legendary Hero of Time, with the fate of all Hyrule resting on your sholders! But the game isn't all serious. Ocarina of Time is loaded with side quests, some jus for fun, some completly neccesary in your journey. If you're looking for a high-action adventure that will make you laugh, cry, and sweat with excitement, Zelda's your game!

I have loved this game since I first played it. It took me quitw awhile to finish the whole thing, many games today, you pass in 10,5, sometimes even 1 day. This game took me almost a year of hardcore playing day through night. The eerie music, and fantastical characters bring you you a world, you only dream of. One of the main reasons I still own my N64 is because of this memorable, phenominal, fantastic game. Lose yourself deep into the magical world that Link is in, and enjoy yourself!
