Pokemon Stadium is the best game I have played since Pokemon on Gameboy, The only thing that i dislike is that the sounds of the pokemon could be better and that if you use rental pokemon(already on N63 pak) The pokemon doesnt have the same attacks on the Gameboy. But still the Graphics take the cake, I would recomment it to anyone. Me and my brothers and friends cant stop playing it.

The Best Pokemon Game There Is

I would never say no to this game. When you hold A (the blue button) your attack will be a lot more powerful. I have beaten two levels on the stadium mode. I like how you can choose any Pokemon you want to battle with, and how you can do about the same as you did in Pokemon Snap but you have to choose what Pokemon you're going to take pictures of. I also like how you can put different name tags below them. If you ask me, I would say, DEFINITELY BUY THIS GAME!

This game dosn't have the best graphics but still a pretty good. The game play is the best thing because they have replays and just click c left in edit and you actully see the move on a dummy. Don't forget the alternate costumes so it deserves a four and it's a pinch away from 5 golden stars. END

Boring and pointless, but you get a Gameboy adapter

Is it me or is this game really boring, repetitive commentary, pointless competitions, no advancement for beginners to masters, and even the "fun" little party games are quick and boring. There are several parts to the game, the challenge road where you go through six Pokemon categories each getting more difficult. There is the freestyle where you battle against other Pokemasters or your friends. There are even nine party games which get old very fast. You are supposed to use your own Pokemon from your Gameboy pack, but there is a way to cheat by using the rental Pokemon which comes with all 150 Pokemon (instead of having to earn them). Even children get bored quickly of the game. There is a good part to the Pokemon Stadium package, it comes with a piece of hardware that lets you play your Gameboy on the N64. This also is not a RPG like the Pokemon Gameboy games are.

a really stupid game

No different than fighting the blasted things on the game boy. Nintendo're just milking the fad.

Pokemon Stadium : One of the Best Games for Nintendo 64!

It is very hard to find good N64 games. But Pokemon Stadium (original) is listed on the "Best Games for N64" category.

Pokemon Stadium (original) is a game where you have to compete in a tournament to win badges. You can also challenge GYM LEADERS. They are a little difficult!

Some of you may be saying, "But I don't have Pokemon Red nor Blue. Now I can't play the game. BOOHOOHOO! :( " Well then, you are wrong. If you don't have Red or Blue (for Game Boy), you can rent Pokemon from the game. However, you don't own them. (That means you can't train them to do special abilities.)

TIRED OF BATTLING? Play some mini-games at the Kid Zone. (It's for all ages.) You can play with up to four (4) players! They are very easy to learn, but challenging to do.

GB TOWER. Have Pokemon Red or Blue and the Transfer Pak? If you do, go to the GB TOWER and you can play your Pokemon Red or Blue on the big screen!

I've only told you only a part of what this game has to offer. This game will keep you entertained for hours. Pokemon Stadium (original) won Player's Choice, that means it's a really good game! Get it today! You won't regret it!

Great for all ages, especially for kids

Pokemon Stadium is a great game for all ages. There really is no vicious violence and the game is very easy to play and any kid can get used to this game and get good at it. For the rest of you parents out there, if there was any game that you could chose for your kid, the Pokemon series is a good start.

Pokemon Stadium plays just like the Gameboy version except with no adventuring. Basically, this is where you bring the Pokemon that you have raised on your Gameboy and put them to the test in several Pokemon challenges from tournament style challenges on 4 levels of competition (easy to hard) and become a master at the game.

I know I said there was no adventuring but there is one and that's the Gym Leader's challenge when you take on all of the Gym Leaders from the Red and Blue series like Borkc, Misty and many more until you reach the Master's Gym where you take on the final four and I assure you on this one, they don't roll over for anyone!

The one thing that I really didn't like about the game was that the rental Pokemon are for the most part, really weak. Seriously, I could do without having 2 defensive moves or 1 really good move and 3 kind of in between ones. But then again, that's why you raise your Pokemon on the Gameboy Red and Blue. That way, you know what you're fighting with.

The other thing that I thought was pretty cool was all of the Kiddie games and stuff. It was nice to see another set of games inside of an already good game.

Again, if you haven't gotten into Pokemon, it's a good start for any parents who are unsure on what to get their kids and it's very good for kids because us parents don't have to worry about any of our kids testing new moves they saw on a game on each other. Again, excellent game!

BUY THIS GAME!

This game is a must-have for any hard-core Pokemon gamer. Even if you've never played Pokemon before this games mini-games and main game will amuse you greatly. This is a perfect mixture of strategy and pure fun.
