I have played this I could not stop playing for a whole day, that was about it I still play it not nearly as much as when I gotit. There are only 9 mini-games. I didn't make that up I read it in my nintendo power. Only buy this if you must have every Pokemon game out on the market.

Boring.

This game is boring because it's all the same. If you get a different pokemon, it doesnt matter. you do the same thing over and over. You attack and beat and attack and beat. It's too easy too. I thought Pokemon Snap was MUCH better! That game was one of my favorites. This game just has no point. Fighting is the only thing you do. I mean the gameboy pokemon was better than this one! You get to go on an adventure and find things and get items! That was fun. This is fighting ONLY. Boring! If you want a good pokemon game get any of them for gameboy including Yellow, Blue, Red, Gold, Silver. Or even better, get pokemon snap!

Pokemon hits the N64

Pokemon Stadium is, to me, a sever disappointment. With the release of Pokemon Stadium 2 (it's much better, I have it) it has been totally outdated. However, it is only available in Japanese. If you don't want an import game, then this is for you. It is, once again a turn-based game. What gives this game its stars are it graphics, which are out of this world.

Pokémon in 3D? What more could you want!

This is a great game! As the title says, the Pokémon do appear in 3D and have great special effects for the attacks! This is for die-hard Pokémon fans, I reckon, but it's also great fun if you're bored! I think it's worth the money! The only downside to the game is the commentating, it's a bit annoying...

Pok e' mon Stadium rocks. It has some of the best graphics. Even though I've only played the rental, I still think you should get it. The Pok e' mon,the attacks ,and the way you can transfer your pok e'mon from is cool. You should git red, blue,or yellow version, so you can transfer your pok e'mon,

When I first bought Pokemon Stadium, I would play it almost everyday. I never got tired of the kids games. The battles are kind of boring though. graphics take too much time, and on the game boy, there is more variety in the battle.

a fantastic hit!

this game is the best i have ever played.if i was allowed , i would stay up all night and play. there are some downfalls though. like you CANNOT rent mew or mewtwo, but the 3d environment and the flashy special effects sure make up for that loss. if you, like me, are a pokemaniac, then this game is definitely for you.!

Fun for all

A Non-Pokemon fan is hooked

Pokemon Stadium for the Nintendo 64 is a surprisingly good adaptation to the ever-growing Pokemon family. The graphics are good, and avoid being constantly the same through brilliant camera angles. The game is easy to just pick up and play, the controls are very simple. Even a non-fan like myself can play well without any Pokemon experience. Sadly, there are no four-way battles, but multiplayer still rocks. You can't use the game with Gold, Silver or Yellow and I can understand why that would be annoying. Stadium 2 will be out soon though, and if it's anything like the original, there could be another hit on the horizon.
