I think it is cool because you could put your Pokemon from the gameboy and if you get board of battling with Pokemons you could play the mini games. And you could also play with your friends.

A game that's mainly for Pokemon fans

When me and my brother rented "Pokemon Stadium" we were expecting it to be a typical fighting game. But we were wrong, it's more like an rpg-fighter. You choose any of the Pokemons that you want as a fighter and you have four moves for each, ranging from regular attacks such as a double edge attack, special attacks such as burrowing under the ground or ice beams, and some others such as the confusion attack where you confuse your opponent to where they will use their own attacks against themselves. There's a multiplayer mode and a single player mode. In the single player mode, you can win trophies on each level.

I haven't ever watched Pokemon that much, so I didn't really know which attacks would be best against certain enemies. If you're a Pokemon fan, you will probably like this game a lot and you'll understand it better. However, if you don't know much about Pokemon, you might not like it that much. And if you like rpg-style fighting games, you will probably like it even better.

Poke'mon Stadium is a pretty cool game. It's really cool how you can upload poke'mon from your gameboy game and use them to battle. The mini-games are pretty fun but 2 on 2 battles with your friends are the bong.

Disappointing

Pokemon Stadium is a perfect game of hype over content. Yes, the game was delayed for about six months, so Nintendo could make it better, but this game is incredibly tedious and can get frusturating. All that you do is battle your Pokemon, menu style like the Game Boy game, but the catch is that it is in 3-D. There are many, many battles to go through, so on the plus side, this game requires some thought on which Pokemon to use and replay value. However, the downside is that for the most part, you're Pokemon must be trained incredibly well to win battles. Don't have Game Boy Pokemon? No problem, the game features an array of "rental" for you to use. There are also nine mini-games, some are better than others, and they help pass the time. The worst part about the game is that you get no expierence points for your battles, which may annoy some, and it does annoy me. .......... unless you're really really into Pokemon matches, you may not enjoy this game. At least you get a Transfer Pak with it, to be used with upcoming titles!

This game is the best!

I Love this game! It was the best game. I like how Charizard can fly. I like how you can change the stadium. My fav stadium was the foolball field.

Not that good

I think "Pokemon Stadium" isn't the best game nintendo made because if you didn't have the Pokemon game for game boy then you would just lose every battle you go into. I would rent this first before buying. I thought this was going to be a good game but it didn't turn out that way.

NINTENDO COULD HAVE DONE ALOT BETTER!

It may seem fun at first, but I'll tell you this: the more you get into it, the more you'll be surprised, on how boring it is! Really, all you do is battle. There's no real adventure, and I seriously regretted renting it. Printing out the pictures was nice, but that's all. All there is is the gym leader castle and tournament to do and they're practically the same. The mini-games are nice, but since there are only 9 of them and only 3 ways to play each, they get old after awhile. Believe me, if you buy it, you'll get seriously sick and tired of watching the same Pokemon just jump around and spit colors after one night. My recommendation is to rent it once or twice but never ever buy it. Believe me, 60 bucks is nowhere near worth it.

Play it at EB or Blockbuster...don't bother buying it

As N64 games go, this one is pretty shallow. Basically, it's just a stadium on the N64 for you to do battle, rather than on your Gameboys. And you won't get the full capabilities of this game without having a Gameboy and either Pokemon Blue, Red, or Yellow. That means more money to shell out for those of you who haven't bought those yet, and a lot of hours to commit to developing your pokemon just to use them in Stadium. I admit that it was fun to look at the animations and all, but that gets old. And annoying. FAST.

awesome, cool, fantastic, but dumb if your not a pokemon fan. A must buy if you are one. Lets you use your own pokemon from gameboy+trading. If you dont have pokemon, dont worry, rental pokemon are waiting for a worthy trainer (you). Nintendo finally figured a way to get Pokemon (the game) on a bigger screen. ~Whew~ Now I wont go blind squinting at a small ...... screen.
