Pokemon Stadium is a pretty good game, but a person will lose interest after awhile. It is nice to have some tournements and prizes for winning the tournements in the game. The game has an option where a person game play pokemon version red, blue, or yellow at triple the speed if a person completes certain things. This game is pretty good, but it gets boring.

This is a popular game and we were happy to have found it and we are excited to have it now in our collection. The kids love it and I appreciate the very quick delivery time. Thanks.

I am not a Poke'fan...but I really like this game

I do not watch Pokemon shows or collect cards but I love this game.
I find it very challenging when you compete in four different cups called Petit, Pika, Poke, and Prime cups. In Poke and Prime cups you go all the way from Poke ball trophy to the master ball trophy. i beat every single cup. Can you?
There is also a Gym leader castle where you defeat gym leaders from the gameboy versions. I already beat elite four and Gary.
I especially loved the minigames when you want to get away from battling.
I think it is nice that they have a gallery where you have your Pokemon in statues for beating the Master balls, pika cup, petitcup, and the gym leader castle. I have alot of statues.
It is really nice the way youget toplay gameboy on your N64 and battle your Pokemon against trainers and gym leaders.
once you've beaten everything you get to compete against Mewtwo. You use all six of the Pokemon you picked forMewtwo. Are youup for the challenge?
the problem I have against this game is I don't have a gameboy and the rental Pokemon are weak and hopeless. You get to go into an adventure two mode once you've beaten Mewtwo once. R-2 adventure is really hard because the trainers and gym leaders Pokemon are harder than the first adventure. i think it is unfair for the trainer's Pokemon to have Higher level Pokemon than my rental Pokemon.
I really like the game but the adventure 2 mode is what's getting on my nerves. I am only up to Giovani in the Gym leader castle, I haven't beaten the Petit or Pika cup, and I am up to the master balls.
Be ready when the game goes from easy to hard.

Great for any Pokemon addict

I have loved Pokemon before the "Pokemon hype" began. I got information about the show on the internet, and watched it when it first came out. I got Pokemon cards for fun before people started collecting them, and going nuts over them. This game is affordable (if you get it used), and fun, especially for Pokemon fans. I love the strategy of Pokemon, and I probably always will, even though I have drifted from the show as I got older.
The strategy of pokemon is of the elements of Earth. For example, fire creatures have the advantage over water creatures, due to the fact that when fire touches the grass it burns. Also, electric creatures have the advantage to water creatures because water conducts electricity. Another example, fire has the advantage over ice because when fire goes near ice, the ice begins to melt because of the head.
Pros:
1) Great Strategy
2) Great for children learning about the elements of earth
3) Fairly good graphics
4) You can connect this with Pokemon Red + Blue (if you buy the transfer pak)
Cons:
1) Many pokemon do not appear in the rental section (not many though)
2) Only can connect with Pokemon Blue or Red, not any other versions of Pokemon Game Boy games.

Wait!!! Read This Before Buying!!!

Okay, now that I've got your attention, you have to listen to this. Pokemon Stadium is WONDERFUL, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, and ADDICTIVE, but POKEMON STADIUM 2 is BETTER. It has everything that this one has (I own this one, and just bought PKMNS2) and more, including 100 more pokemon, 12 minigames (instead of 9), and the capacity to play ALL Pokemon Game Boy games on your TV, with a cool border, even G&S. Lookup Pokemon Stadium 2 and buy it. It is more, but has twice the stuff. Great buy. If you have PKMNS2, and want this one, then go ahead. This game rocks.

I think that pokemon stadium is really cool even though you can't have the 100 new pokemon. Im a pokemon freakazoid! In pokemon stadium you will be able to compete in tournaments called,Poke cup,Prime cup,Petit cup,and the Pika cup. In gym leader castle, you have to fight all the gym leaders and the Elite four. In the kids club, you can play all sorts of mini games. In GB tower you can play your pokemon gameboy games on the big screen.

This game is GREAT. Pokémon fans probably rejoiced when this came out. Anyway, with several one player battling tournaments (Gym Castle and the various Poké Ball championships), a few multiplayer games (the fun Mini Games, Quick Match or something like that, and the all out Pokémon battles), and several goals you can go for, this game will be a big hit with any Pokémon fan out there.

Adventure and Fun many games in One!

Excellent graphics and many characters to chose from. This game also offers more than just battles. I highly recommend.
