I played this game at the Pokémon 2000 Stadium Tour against Nintendo's deadly Mewtwo, grep. It has the greatest graphics I have ever seen on any Pokémon game. It is a must buy. The best part is you can upload your Pokémon from your game boy games with the transfer pack. This is truly the greatest video game ever. Even if you don't own game boy Pokémon games, you can still play with 149 rental Pokémon at level 50, all except Mewtwo and Mew. This is definitely a must buy for anyone who has even a remote interest in Pokémon.

This game is awesome. There are so many modes, everybody can enjoy it. There is the Gym Leader Tower mode, A tournament mode designed to be like the Pokemon League. For not so violent players there is also picture taking, mini-game mode and a color game boy built in to play pokemon yellow, blue,or red in color. You can organize your pokemon game boy stuff and trade with friends with the transfer pack that is included . This game has it all. Got two words for ya: BUY IT!

This game rocks. I saw a screenshot and the garphics are beautiful. The games will have mini-games were you can play with 4 players. It will also include a mode in which you can fight with pokemon. There will be a slot in which you can enter you Pokemon Red, Blue or yellow into, which then all the pokemon in your game will be selectable to fight with. There will be well over 200 mini games. END

Pokemon Stadium is another awesome Pokemon game from Nintendo. This time, instead of battling in flat 2-D graphics, you get to battle in sweet 3-D with excellent sounds and graphics. What is even better is that you can take your actual Pokemon from the Game Boy and put them on the Nintendo 64 VIA Transfer Pak which is shipped directly within Pokemon Stadium. All Pokemon players will be attracted to this game and don't think that you'll just use your lv 100 Mewtwo and fly through it. Nintendo made this so that it knows your strategy, and a little bit more. Some of the first battles are really easy but when you get deeper into it, they get as hard as heck, making it last for a LONG time. 1 to 4 players + hours of extra fun, Pokemon Stadium gets an A+

This Pokemon game is the best Pokemon game of all! It's rich textures and butiful worlds make this game rock! But a really neat gadjet i like to use is called the Transfer Pack. It lets you transfer the Pokemon from your Red, Blue, or Yellow Pokemon from your Game Boy to a whole new world on your Nintendo64!

Pokemon Stadium is a Very fun game and a must buy as soon-as-possible for pokemon fans, but if you dont like pokemon or dont understand it then this is not for you to buy but well worth a rent. I am 20 yrs old and a proud pokemon fan As someone who is a major anime fan I was looking for something different. I first caught a preview of the Pokemon TV series in the background of pokemon blue after glancing at a Nintendo game preview station, it was differnt from all the other anime, so with that said onto the game. The GAMEPLAY (9) of Pokemon Stadium is just like the gameboy versions blue, red and yellow. At first I hated the fact that it was like the gameboy versions. I thought it was going to be like Super Smash Brothers control, but after playing for an Hour with my friends, it gave the game a little more Strategy to it (I also like the feature that rewards the player who picks there moves the quickest gets the first hit, plus the abilites and moves are not visible unless you hold down the R button) It gives off the feel of actually being in the tournament as one of the trainers(To enhance this feel you have to play this on a 60'' screen tv Very Cool! ) The GRAPHICS (9) are by far the best (you have to see DITTO he looks like real Silly Putty) and it would have recieved a 10 but the backgrounds are pretty plain. I believe this was to keep the speed and detail of the pokemon fighting from being slowed down (smart move Nintendo!) SOUND (8) the anouncer is a nice touch but I would have prefered to hear all the original pokemon voices the background is pretty good but not awesome. Value (10) The replay value is huge, they reward you for completing tounaments, beating the Gym trainers, earning bonus Pokemon. playing blue, red, and yellow on your tv screen, and the harder R-2 mode. PLAYERS TILT (10) after one hour you will understand how to use effective strategy against human opponents the transfer pak puts all your prized pokemon against your friends in full color to maximize the games fun factor, the rental pokemon are a good way to practice and can enhance a weak team against the computer.

I play Pokemon with my little brother. we've collected the cards, battled on the game boy,and played Pokemon Snap. This game tops all others. I've been playing the Jap version of this game for nearly six months, and we still have tons of fun. We can't wait to get our hands on the English version.

A great addition to Pokémon for Game Boy

Pokémon Stadium is definately a very interesting, graphically superior addition to the Game Boy Pokémon RPGs. However, that is one of Pokémon Stadium's pitfalls; if you don't own Pokémon for Game Boy, do NOT buy this cartridge. It would be a lost experience, as one of the big draws of Stadium uis the ability to test Pokémon you've raised in a more competitive, 3D environment.

That said, Stadium is a spectacular game. While the minigames are fun and the Lab is a very useful utility, the challenge comes with the Gym Leader's castle and the Pokémon Stadium. Even with a strong lineup of Pokémon, players will find some of these competitions frustrating and difficult. These battles aren't the walk in the park, pull out a Mewtwo and kick the living daylights out of the competition type that we all got used to in the Game Boy games. There's actual challenges, strategy is key, and you'll find yourself using you your supply of TMs and HMs like no other, trying to find ways of boosting your Pokémon's attack skills, even those Level 100 ones. There are secret areas, a special difficulty mode (R2, which you can access after accomplishing something very obvious in the Stadium), special Pokémon gifts. For the Pokémaniac, this game will be exactly what you've been waiting for (outside a Pokémon 64).

However, the game is repetitive and, unless you are out trying to accomplish something like win R2 mode, can get boring since the battles are just that... battles. There isn't a storyline or towns to explore. There aren't people to talk to. It's just battling, working at the lab, and minigames. But these pitfalls are all part of the game's dependance on a Game Boy Pokémon pak. Stadium is supposed to be an addendum to Pokémon, not really a game in itself. And in that context, the game shines.

If your kids have mentioned this game to and you have told them it's not really worth it to buy belive me it's worth it. In the Pokemon games on gameboy are lousey, but in this game it shows you tottaly 3D graphics. Buy it.
